last saturday after work, i intended to go to Chinatown with my family to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sceneries relating to the mid-autumn. Ya, in about less than 15 days, the moon-cake festival will be arriving. It is one of the most inportant holidays in China but not Singapore. Mooncakes either baked or the snow skin style is common in all bakeries during this period, followed by the pomelos, chinese tea. Children will go around guessing the "mi yu" and carrying the lanterns around. It is a little crowded on the roads yesterday as people tried to go to see the lights-up. Roads are made to close especially the Eu Tong Sen St and buses had to be diverted. I spent my evening hours viewing the pretty lights-up...
hahaa...sg idol...battle between Jon n hady...who will win...results known tml???

Lastly, i recommended u their third single from the taiwanese drama 偶像剧《东方茱丽叶》 song. "
只对你有感觉 -飞轮海/Hebe. One of the best duet from the record label HIM. Keep on going.

FuSSy!
ytd just received my results for sem 1. Though i put in effort, results were not as expected. Results were not that fanastic with the majority of Cs and Ds and the unexpected. The timetable for sem 2 will only be released somewhere in oct first week.
I went to work after i received my results from the sms i received from the school and also check online on the outcome. You know, after receiving results, i was not in good mood because i still have to work. But unexpectantly, i met a fussy old customer who insists on doubling his bags for every purchases. I only doubled for him the heavier ones and not the light ones, so he was not satisfied with my service. I tried to tell him that light ones could not be doubled. He started to feel angry, and i tried to argue back as this is not my fault.
He insisted on seeing the manager so i had no choice but to look for my chief cashier Stella.
She already had a problem settling a customer in the morning and i was the second, she was also fed up but to no avail. She told me to settle the customer but the man still was not satisfied.
My chief cashier told him that the manager is not around and he started to shout back. We had no choice but to give him our manager's no. He says he wanted to make a complain. " What's a big deal, like i care."
I would not give sack because of this, so why bother.
Even our chief cashier also boh chap, as a front-line staff, this is our job, facing irrogant customers daily but sometimes we still met good ones.

recently, i read one of my good friend's blog, she did a recap on the things she learnt while working. Actually working in a supermarket may gives me joy and sometimes headaches when nasty customers are around.
As a retail assistant or a cashier at a supermarket, we must provide good service to our customers, though at times we met ones who are very nasty. So i adapted this on my friend's blog on the must-do as a staff of ntuc.
#1: We are there to serve customers, saying "NO" to them is a no-no.
#2: Whether u are on/ or off duty, you still trys to provide good service.
#3: smile, sorry and thank you when customers says nasty remarks about your service.
#4: At times, u're likely to be called uncle/auntie by someone older than u.
#5: Singaporeans are not as environmentally-friendly. They will like their things to be doubled bag when it is light.
#6: Some people have to pay nets for small purchases like $0.50 or even used a $50, $100, $1000 to pay little items.
#7: Nasty customers will pay their things with a hand of coins for purchases like $20, $30 using 5,20,50,$1 coins, making my cash-box full of coins.
#8: Some customers buy because they want to get linkpoints, bonus stamp, lucky draw, free gift or a coupon .
#9: Some people are as inconsiderate by throwing their used tissues, drinks, wrappers etc in the shopping basket.
We should start a policy where customers are allowed to pay nets only for purchases above $5.
No bags for small items like newspapers, sweets, drinks,etc.
Use bags provided at the fresh department for wet and bloody items like chicken, duck and fish.
A no-no!!!
Don't used ntuc supermarket shopping basket, they are as dirty as you thought, because of inconsiderate customers. We occasionally clean our baskets but not daily. Try not to use when possible.

time for me to update again...
recently, i've been slacking after my exams...bothered wif nothing to do, facing the computer almost daily. Even rite now i still work during the hols, but sometimes i encountered a few witty customers. This makes me frowning for certain reasons.
Dun talk craps...i'm relieving and de-stressing myself with music almost every second, minute, hour and daily. I'm letting days passed by days, dun even take notice of what the date is every day. Work and music has been taken the majority of my time.
Nxt, I happened to come across a music website featuring our project superstar finalist...chen jia xin who has just released her new cantonese/mandarin/english album, a mixture of 3 languages. Her record label, which has Joey under her belt is going to coop her. Though her company has changed her name to Vincy-yong'er, She was still remembered by one who sang joey-hui che chi bang de nu hai in the competition. Her imported album from hong kong is out in all stores... yong'er.
Also, another top male group Farenheit whom i read about from "Play" magazine is the next best from Him record label which has stars like S.H.E, Z Chen, Kaira Gong and Power Station under their belt. Farenheit better known as Fei Lun Hai in Chinese is releasing their tong min album this coming friday, Sep 15. They also had collaborated with S.H.E-Hebe in this TV soundtrack "tong fang chu li ye" where they sang "chi dui ni you gan jue" .

Just recovered from my drowsyness, it could be the lack of sleep that caused the illness or even the hard work i put in in my job.
Talking about colours, in an Oxford dictionary it means the usage of various colours, not only black and white.
We see colours everywhere. Every objects have their own distinct colours which brings out the uniqueness of it. In the day, the sun gives out light, so we can see colours. At night, the moon or at all times the lamposts or our homes' light produce artificial light through electricity. This enables us to see colours. If not, it will be total darkness in the night.
okie...enough of those craps...
i added colours to myself to bring out the distinctness of me...haha
look at it now!!! What is different???
I'm off from work today, so will be very FREE!!!

i am feeling a little drowsy rite now, maybe these few days have been busy for me.
~headaches but i have to continue updating my blog for i've off duty from the blogging scene for the past week.
Holidays have just begun and i would be very busy in my work, will try to take some time off to do wat i want. Actually on Teachers' Day last Thursday, my friends and i went back to hs, the place where i called alma marter for the last 4 years there. Since we went to hs late, thus getting little chance to see some of our teachers. We met up with our form, Mrs Lee who has just recover from her leg injury, hope she is getting well by now. Also we met Mdm Ching, our Maths teacher for Sec.4. She knew us but was a little hesitant in our names, she could not recall much but we were happy that she remember us when we gave her clues.
Happy Teachers' Day.
Recently, i listen to 周杰伦&费玉清 new collaborated song <千里之外>. Quite a gd song i thought, this song is going to be released in Jay's latest album on Sept 8.
i shall close my post here...
