Max and his cousies "Soooo Big"

Last Saturday my mom babysat Max while I got my nails done.  I said put him down for a nap because it was nap time.  She didn't listen, and I don't blame her its so hard to put such a cute face down.  So I came home to this.  He just had a blast riding in the wagon with cousin Rien.  Max loves his cousins, they all still fight over holding him.  They are all so good with him.  He gets so excited when he sees them.   He is so funny, we will say "Soooo Big"  and he puts his arms right up in the air.  Its his new favorite trick.  Everyone makes him do this all day long because its so dang cute, so now when people look at him he just shoots his hands right up.

He also went on a bike ride with my mom, Sherida, Bryce, and Kelly.  They said this made him tired and he was leaning on Tylor the whole time.  The bike ride was so much fun, so my mom and Dad decided to purchase the whole family new bikes.  We are so excited.  Now for the 4th of July we are going to bike up the canyon and have a picnic.  We also got a new Chariot for Max and Sherida got one for Rien and Tylor.  We got them in this green color called Avocado.  Its so cute.  We are all really excited and we feel so blessed.  Thanks Mom and Dad!  I will post a picture of our new gear, soon.

1st Haircut

Max got his first haircut.  He was so good because we occupied him with, what use to be Brandt's cell phone.  And yes I was the one that cut his hair.

Happy 9 months Max

My computer is broken right now.  I am so sad.   I hope I don't loose all of my pics or there  will be some devastation.  So much has happened.  I haven't uploaded any pics because I don't have my computer.  Max is 9 months old today and he is crawling everywhere, waving, and doing "sooooo big."  He is growing so fast.  Also Brandt went into the mtc 2 weeks ago Sunday! Bitter Sweet.  Maddies b-day is tomorrow and she will be 13.  And Hank and i are speaking on Sunday.  I don't like giving talks so I am a nervous wreck.  I have been preparing my talk for 2 weeks now and Hank hasn't even thought about his.  Watch he'll get up and seem 10x's more prepared than me.  Thats how it always goes.  He is such a good speaker and teacher.  I love love love him!

3 Joys
1. Hank and Max- I love them both so much. I really treasure each moment we get to spend together.
2. running- I just started running a little bit again. I hate going but when I am done I feel like I have accomplished something, and that brings me so much joy.
3. Eating- I love sugar and I love going out to eat. If Hank and I don't eat out at least once a week we just don't feel complete!
3 Fears
1. Knocking my teeth out. Hank had his front teeth knocked out when he was sixteen. I can't even imagine.
2. Spiders- I hate hate hate them. Even the smallest ones Hank has to get.
3. Um i will have to think about the other one.
3 goals
1. I want to be the best mom I can be. I want to teach Max, and my other kids to come, all that I know and more. I want to love them and play with them like everyday is the last.
2. I want to know the scriptures like Hank.
3. I want to do a tri-athalon. Some day that is. 3 obsessions/ collections1. I am obsessed with cookie dough. I make the dough and put it in the freezer so I can have a little treat every night. 3. Cleaning- I hate every moment of it but everything has to be clean before I can relax. Its so annoying if the house isn't clean I can't think. I try to let it go sometimes but it doesn't really work because i just keep thinking about until it gets done.having 3 I am obsessed with making list. I write everything down that I have to do that day. Then I don't have to keep reminding myself what I have to do. I just look down at my little sticky tab. I try to get Hank to do this-it hasn't worked yet.
3 random/surprising facts about myself
1. I brush my teeth every morning in the shower. Its nice and easy, no cleanup.
2. I was life flighted off of the Brighton ski resort when I was in sixth grade. I ran into a tree. Nothing was wrong, I didn't even have a bruise.
3. I love cleaning my husbands ears, popping his black heads, and clipping his toenails. Or anyone that will let me! I have to beg him to pop his black heads now. I usually make a deal with him, but sometimes that doesn't even work. And I have lost my privilege of clipping his toe nails because I made him bleed one too many times.

Max is a big boy now

Three weeks ago I went to go get Max up from his nap. And apparently he was already up. It was so funny he was sitting up in his bed like hi mom. We couldn't figure out his technique, on sitting up, until he did it 30x's in our bed a few days later. He first buries his head in the ground, next sticks his but in the air, and then with all of his might pushes himself to one side of his bum , and finally balances himself out. Yeah!!! for Max

The only problem is to lay himself back down he does a face plant. Well not today. I went in to check on him and he had just face planted into his bumper pads and decided to take a nap there. It gets better though...

For his 2nd nap he decided to lay on his own lap to sleep. So we have now lowered his bed to the lowest setting. Since he can sit himself up he is now trying to pull himself up on the side of the crib. When i was bathing him today he tried to pull himself out of the tub too. And if you are wondering what he is wearing its a little sleeping bag with arms. I love love love it. I don't have to worry about him getting wrapped up in his blanket.
