Medallionquilt, Knitting and an Update

This is the middle of my medallion quilt I now choose the colors for the birds but still have to make some more leaves etc... you will see it in one of my next updates.

      Update Scandinavian Christmas, 2 snowball done 11 to go....
3 hearts done, 20 to go, but I love to make them the applique way  C told me, thanks C.

 Knitting update Two beautiful patterns from Rowan, the first is almost finished I make it in a kind of blue, when it is finished I will certainly take a picture and show you...

This nice magazine arrived today, I really love to read and look in it. And found out that some of my friends toke a subscription at the same day as I, what a coincidence, it must be friends with the same hobbies, and Yes you are right they are.....

Not my most beautiful quilt, although it is my finish of a beautiful life  and a kind of french touch. On the reck it looks really nice and it makes my living room a loot brighter, so it is nice that is finished,

 My DH bought his lovely chickens for our daughters, a beautiful decoration on the eating table , they are sitting on self painted eggs by the whole family

Medaillion Quilt

At the De Sampler we started a new course G, M and I. I already started with some embroidery which didn't make it easier to make  the first part... it is going to look a little bit like this, I am still styling the inner part, all the white paper has to be some very cute fabrics. Hopefully this easter weekend I have some time to make progress, will be continued....

York

 A few days in York, such a lovely little holiday. The first day Beautiful weather, the second day a little bit chilly but still dry and nice...

Very nice lovely place with little shops in beautiful mostly wooden houses. A nice afternoon Tea. Lovely.......  !!!We followed the crafters trail, and did the Quilt museum. But the shops where the best...
