#cool - Layout for Prima December BAP

Hello all and Merry Christmas! Our holidays in Greece were sunny, no snow for us this year! And although my boys were both sick, we all were in good spirits. Thats probably why in the middle of winter I decided to scrap using the most bright colors! :)

This is my layout using Prima December BAP - more colorful than ever!

Some close ups. Butteflies were made by liberally misting Color Bloom sprays on watercolor paper. Then I heat embossed the gorgeous Finnabair butterfly stamp with black sparkling embossing powder. 

The title was die cut and then covered with White Art Sugar for extra sparkle

Butterflies were then sprinkled with Finnabair Micro beads and White Art Sugar. Flowers were also misted with color bloom to achieve a more vibrant effect. 

The backgroung was made using a brayer and then with Finnabair white crackle paste through a prima stencil.

Χριστουγεννιάτικη πρόκληση στο Scraps n Pieces

Καλησπέρα σας! 

Έρχονται τα Χριστούγεννα!!! (επιτελους)

 Εμπνευστείτε από τη φωτογραφία λοιπόν. Δεν είναι υποχρεωτικό να είναι χριστουγεννιάτικη η σύνθεσή σας, μπορείτε να κρατήσετε μόνο τα χρώματα ή τα γλυκά, ή τον Αγιο Βασίλη, κάποιο σχήμα, ότι θέλετε! Μπορεί η φωτό να σας εμπνεύσει να φτιάξετε μία χριστουγεννιάτικη δημιουργία απλώς, με άλλα χρώματα κλπ... Ότι σας τραβήξει το μάτι και σας εμπνεύσει!  

Αφήστε τη φαντασία σας ελεύθερη και παίξτε

Dream Garden - Layout for Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo December challenge

Hello all, how are you? Here again with our December Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo challenge: 

Doors and windows! 

This is my take on the challenge. I set up a scene for my sweet Pavlos using 7 dots 9th wave collection - my all time favorite, Prima Flowers and embellishments and Creative Embellishments chipboard gates. 

The stone background is made using Finnabair mica powders in rust and teal. 

They shine amazingly in real life!!! 

Some close ups. Isnt the shimmer of micas amazing???? I used teal mica mixed with gel medium to make the road sign rusty.

Adorable - SATW December challenge and a sad goodbye

Hello my fellow crafty people! I hope all is well...

This post is harder than I though. It is to be published in a few hours and I havent found the heart to compose it... This is the last challenge of Scrap Around the World. It breaks my heart but this is the way things must be done. I cant even begin to describe how much I owe to the talented Helen Tilbury! Her talent, inspiration, organization skills, helping hand, leadership skills and always eager to hear and help others... I learned so much in my one year term over at SATW... Helen, what more can I say? Just a warm "Thank you" from the bottom of my heart...

Fate brought it that he last moodboard was mine... This is my layout based not on paper but on Prima Marketing Finnabair resist canvas. I used heaps of Finnabair art ingredients, Prima flowers and resins and many chipboard pieces, with Creative Embellishments chipboard being the centerpieces again. All chipboard was covered with white crackle paint, apart from the title that was covered with Tim Holtz's Distress Tattered Rose crackle paint.
