Fly High – 7 dots and SIG

Hello everyone! Today I will show you a layout that turned out to be one of my favorites. It was made for the7 dots studio March challenge (challenge theme = flying) and for Scrapbookers in Greece March challenge (with “family” being the challenge theme). I was inspired by Riika Kovasin’s Pop and Colors 2 workshop and I used my favorite 7 dots Messy head collection and a picture of my step daughter back from the graduation of the 1^st grade, where she was dressed as a sea lion! I decided to scrap about her this time, mainly because I mostly scrap about the boys but also because I wanted to journal all the things I cannot tell her because of adolescence. We as parents just have to be patient and understanding for the next years and sometimes this can be so tough!

I used a favorite colour combo of mine, pink and mint. I really miss my pink papers, I have to start pink-scrapping the boys, lol!

My layout

The page is fairly sparkly, I used TA mists, Shimmerz and Silks to give it shine and glamour but it doesn’t really show in the photo.

Happiness – Creative embellishments

Hello everyone!

I am back with another layout made after a tutorial from the talented Georgia Heald for UHK Galleries. This is the first layout I made using one of her tutorials and I have to admit that I am in love with both the process and the end result! I used the Prima Lyric papers and a photo of my previous pregnancy. I thought I should show you a happy layout this time! ;)

With this layout I am participating in the Creative Embellishments March challenge. My page is a loose interpretation of the sketch, mainly because I got carried away by Georgia’s tutorial. But I was inspired by the splatters and the butterflies of the picture and used them on my layout. I mostly make layouts for my boys so I miss using my precious butterfly stamps!

Choose Life – March OUAS challenge

Hello everyone!

Today I will show you my take on the OUAS March challenge. This time apart form the beautiful sketch by the talented Nadia Cannizzo, the theme was a quote “You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough”. I dont really know why, it is one of those moments where your heart takes over and emotions burst… I immediately thought of my best friend who lost the battle with depression about eight years ago and is now an angel… An angel up in the sky who takes care of my baby girl… All those years I never found the courage to scrap a photo of her but now was the time… No matter what I did, it wasn't enough… I am sorry sweetie, I miss you so much!!!

My page was inspired by the great tutorial of Georgia Heald from Pop and Colors II. I used the Maja Designs Sofiero Collection and some Prima blooms and embellishments. Here is my page

Smile – WW1 March challenge

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to show you that was created for the White with 1 March challenge, featuring color "latte". I loved the color and I couldn't resist playing!

I applied my favorite crackles paste in a thin layer so I would get small crackles and using one of my favorite prima masks I made a brick wall on my page. I misted and then stamped with black and latte. Finally I added the 13arts glass filler for some extra texture.

3 is a magic number

Ο μόνος κανόνας είναι να χρησιμοποιήσετε τον αριθμό 3 στη δημιουργία σας. Οχι υποχρεωτικά σαν αριθμό αλλά με όποιο τρόπο θέλετε.... τρεις φωτογραφίες, τρία χρώματα... the sky is the limit ;)

Χρησιμοποιησα 3 mists και 3 φωτογραφιες. Καλυψα watercolour paper με modelling paste, ψεκασα με τα αγαπημενα Dylusions και σφραγισα με archival inks. Όλα τα παραπανω προιοντα τα βρίσκετε στο καταστημα Scraps n Pieces.
