Happy Birthday frog

This is the card I made for my nephew who just turned 7. The little buttons w/twine are supposed to look like flies. :)  I designed the card to fit in to the challenges over at Bitten By The Bug 2 (use the frog from CAC) and  CardPatterns (sketch challenge). Hop over and check 'em out.

Supplies Used:
Cricut Create A Critter and Elegant Edges
Paper is DCWV, The Paper Studio and misc cardstock
Sentiment is from Kanban
buttons, baker's twine and googly eyes

Joy

For this card I used the Joy sentiment from CREATE A CRITTER and welded it to a rectangle, that I sized to fit from PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK. I then cut out the Joy sentiment again this time using  DCWV GLITTER STACK and attached it to the front of the card. Since I forgot and cut it using the blackout feature, I cut a snowflake from WINTER LACE using the DCWV WINTER COMBO stack. I finished it off with BLUE BIRD MOONDROPS that I won in a challenge. I then tied a light blue ribbon and called it good. Simple and quick card but I love the results. I think I am going to do more in different colors.

Hambo Hoedown #3

This is my submission for Hambo Challenge #3. The image is from Hambo and colored using Photo Explosion. The sentiment was done on my computer and printed on tan cardstock. Paper is from My Mind's Eye and brown cardstock which was run through the Cuttlebug using the tiny bubbles folder. The startfish were cut from Create A Critter at 2" and run through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. I then brushed some dark brown chalk to age them and outlined them with a metallic brown marker from WalMart. Ribbon is from Michaels.
