SPEECHLESS

Speechless, that is what I was when Esther sent me over these photos she took of Blakely last weekend!!! I am in love with everything about them and especially this little girl! She is the light of our lives and I can't imagine life without her. She is spunky and stubborn and keeps me on my toes. At 11 months old (how did that happen) she is so much fun. She really started walking this week and it is fun to see her get right back up even when she falls down. We are so excited to head home for the holidays, I know she is going to have a blast trying to keep up with all her cousins!
P.S. Esther is amazing check out her blog here
if you do you can see Blakely and the love of her life sharing a moment, it is to die for!

Christmas Miracle

I got an early Christmas Present this year...I waited awhile to announce this becasue I didn't want to jinx myself but it is true, a miracle has occured and my little one is sleeping through the night!!! Oh the blessed day has come and I am loving my life. After several failed attempts at sleep training and a very sick baby it has happened and seems to be here to stick. We even have a real nap schedule. So for all those out there who have felt my pain dreams do come true!

SHE IS A WILD ONE BUT SHE HAS TO SLEEP SOMETIME!!!

Bad Luck...or trying to tell us something?

I just want to start this post by saying that I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!!! And I can't stop laughing right now.....
About 30 minutes ago I was going through my pictures getting ready to do a post about going and getting our Christmas tree. It is a tradition that I love and I have been holding on to my love for going to get a real tree over surrenduring to the fake... For those of you who have been following my blog for a while you probably haven't forgotten about our mishap with the Christmas tree but if you are new to H and E than take a look at this and this before you continue on!
Anyhoo so there I am sitting there looking at my cute pictures we took the other night thinking that I am grateful that I am not the pregnant one this year (Simone is much cuter pregnant than me) when I hear a crash. I had just put Miss B down so before I could even think what was that? I could only think I hope that didn't wake her up. As I turned the corner to see that our tree had tipped over....YES THAT IS THE TRUTH, I could not stop laughing. I honestly have no idea why or how it tipped, it was the perfect little tree and had no lean to it, and we even had the EXPENSIVE stand. I had to call Hank to come home from a church meeting to help me get the tree back up and get the water damage but the whole time we just could not stop lauging.
Maybe we are not meant to have a real tree but I will keep pushing forward!!! In the meantime will someone come redecorate my tree because it was too much work the first time???

BEFORE

AFTER

Before the drama I would have posted all these cute pictures and talked about how much fun we had for the second year in the row picking out a tree with the Dahls, saying we better pick a good one this year not like the LEMON that tipped over last year. So here we are!
 Creepy Santa?? Yes mam!
Can you hardly wait until next year's Christmas Tree post???

Home Bound

To say the last couple weeks have been rough is an understatement. About 2 weeks ago Miss B got the croupe which turned into a horrible cough where no one in this househeld slept for a week which ultimately took us to the doctor's office where she was given antibiotics. As she was on the mend who would get sick... ME. I honestly have not been sick in so long, besides good old pregnancy sick and this thing is kicking my trash. I think I will head to the walk in clinic today to get some meds because I am almost positive it is a sinus infection (had enough in my life to know). I hope I start feeling better because I don't know how much more I can take. However I will take being sick a thousand times over than having a sick kid, so not fun to watch your kids suffer and feel so bad for them and at the same time want to strangle them becasue they are so hard!!!
So needless to say we have been home bound for the last couple weeks, nothing too exciting but we still manage to have some fun while lounging around!!

Sick Baby trying to put on a happy face!
 Climbing through and on everything!
Dancing and clapping along to Carrie Underwood's Christmas Special. She was mesmorized!
Eating without letting go of her bunny!

Let's hope we get out of this house soon or I may just lose it!

Don't Blink

Don't Blink or your once tiny 6lb baby will be standing by herself in front of you waving and saying Ma Ma.
The last couple weeks I have realized that my baby is becoming quite the big girl. I was in the mall freaking out how every baby we passed was smaller than her, wasn't it just yesterday she was the smallest one?
Depsite the time going by so fast, I am loving this new stage.
We videoed her tonight doing her "walking". To date her farthest is 4 steps. I don't know if I will be excited or cry when my baby is actually walking.

Old McDonald Had a Farm....

And on that farm he had a LAMB!
Halloween was very low key this year seeing as how I was gone all weekend in Edmonton doing a training and it was on Sunday. But we did hit up the ward trunk or treat to show off how adorable Blakely looked in her costume my dear friend Lynlee made for her.....
After I knew Blakely was going to be a lamb, I decided to stick with the animal theme and copied this homemade cow costume from my friend Ciara. It was easy and fun and most importantly comfortable. Hank of course was game for anything, the only disappointment was not finding him some overalls!!!

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

Ragdolls know how to RUN!!!

So for the second part of my trip I headed down to Vegas with 12 other crazy moms to run the Las Vegas Ragnar. If you have never heard of the ragnar races or never done one...well start training now because they are amazing. Ok when you are in them you sometimes think, now how is this fun? but truly they are so great.
Imagine 12 girls in 2 vans running a relay race for 200 miles on no sleep, weird food, and a little red bull thrown in there. It makes for an amazing bonding experience and 30 hours you won't forget. I could go on an on about it but instead I will just say try one or look at my pictures and see the fun in them!!!

Team Dinner before race
One of the team vans!
My big sister and best cheerleader. When I puked after my last leg she said, "I have never been a prouder big sister, you pushed yourself to puke point". Yes that is how we roll in my family!
Beautiful view of Lake Mead
I made a great flag girl
The pass of from Bekah to me
Cousins on the run

We are supposed to be sleeping but instead dancing to GLEE
Getting ready for our night run!
Don't worry it is 2:11a.m. and I am getting my chocolate milk on!
Finish line with Moka
Ragdolls coming in HOT!!!!

We honestly did it for fun and ended up taking 6th place for the ALL WOMEN's teams. I felt really strong and ran my Personal Best on all the my legs. I loved getting away with sister's friends and cousins and making more good friends along the way.
GO RAGDOLLS!

Another Whirlwind

Like always our trip to Utah was one big whirlwind...I have included a few pictures from the first part of my trip. Getting to Utah was the biggest obstacle, since Hank was coming with us we decided we could drive instead of Blakely and I flying...bad choice. Let's just say the car ride consisted of a lot of screaming, lots of throw-up and a choking incident that I hope never to repeat. Good thing I renewed my CPR recertification this past week, now I am prepared!!! Let's just say it will be awhile before I make that drive again. I am happy to report that the way home went much smoother thanks to the single baby einstein DVD we packed, I think Hank and I have it memorized since we may or may not have watched it 30 plus times.
The main reason we made the trek down was so I could be there to help my sister Adrien as she welcomed her 4th baby girl Elle Nicole Webb. It was am amazing experience and I am so glad I was able to share that special moment with her and her family. She is the best baby ever....EVER! She is giving me hope that there are easy babies out there, however, in the meantime I will continue to wrangle my wild child!!!

Here are a few pictures and recap of some fun things we did while in town visiting!!!!
