Neosprints of yesteryear

Remembered the 'in' thing in the late 90s, during our secondary and JC school days?!? Yesh, neoprint aka 大头贴!! I am tidying up my old photos and found 3 small booklet of neoprints which I made back years ago to stick the neoprint stickers that I took or exchanged with friends.

I still remembered we would cramp into the small neoprint machines, attempted to position ourselves so that our heads would appear properly/correctly in the frame and made funny poses (for multiple shots effect)... Ah, so funny!!

And once the machine churned out a single sheet of neoprint stickers, we would go to counter to borrow their scissors to cut up that sheet into 16 small pieces and split the pieces equally among ourselves. One person can take a few pieces lor, hahaha... And if I stick one set (cos I want to have different photo frames...) in my booklet, then there isn't anymore neoprint stickers to go around for exchange purpose.

Anyone can recall how much we paid to 'play' neoprints?? Hahaha, I think it would have cost us a small fortune back then...

We took turns to take neoprints with every member of my clique in class... Me, Bk, Wen, Emi

Center spread of my small neoprint booklet (yes, it's kinda small...) I love to paste cute Disney stickers (esp my fave Mickey Mouse) to decorate my booklet, hahaha.

As time goes by, neoprints evolved from small 16 prints to bigger 8 prints in a single sheet. There's also the ability to input text characters and cute symbols.

... and neoprint machine evolved to a stage where you can take full size portrait, use magazine cover effect as frame and write down your desired message! So fun and amazing!!
