Fave Food of the Month - Nandos

Nandos is a casual dining restaurant group originating from South Africa with a Portuguese/Mozambican theme. It specialises in flame-grilled chicken (served in quarters, halves, wholes) dishes with either lemon and herb, medium, hot or extra hot Peri-Peri marinades.

My fave dish is the flame-grilled chicken in mild Peri-Peri marinade served with regular chips and a bottle of Coke (Price: AUD 17.45). Superlicious!! Had the same dish for dinner on both Satursday and Sunday for the past 2 weeks, haha =)
There are currently 2 Nandos outlets in Singapore, one is located in Bugis Junction and the other in Tanglin Mall. You should definitely give it a try if you haven't been to this restaurant.

Should we organise a dinner gathering there soon once I'm back in Singapore? *wink

Bubble tea craze is back

Yesh, bubble tea outlets are popping up everywhere in Singapore... again! Two of the popular chains here are KOI Cafe (50嵐) and Gong Cha (贡茶); both originate from Taiwan. We have tried the milk tea with pearls from both chains: Gong Cha at Raffles City Shopping Mall and KOI Cafe at Toa Payoh, and here's our verdict:

We tried KOI Cafe's Bubble Milk Green Tea w Pearls from various outlets, namely: Toa Payoh, Clementi, Marine Parade and Illuma...

and the best Bubble Milk Green Tea w Pearls we found so far is from... TOA PAYOH =)

So if you happen to be in the area, remember to pop by KOI Cafe to grab a cup of bubble tea.
