Round the world

I had dinner with a fren whom i haven't met for almost 7-8 years... Yesh! It took me that long to locate him and jio him out for dinner/catch up. And it's a very good time that i did take action to meet up with him... hahaha... cos he's going away for a 3 to 4mth long backpacking trip starting next week and i won't get to see him till next year...

UPDATE: This is his blog. There are tons of photos per entry, so it would take a bit of time to load. It's a very entertaining travel related read!! hahaha... Dont spend too much time in office reading it yah, you dont want to be caught eating snake!

We went to planet traveller at marina square to look at the big world map in the store and talk abt lotsa stuff... his upcoming journey will be a very exciting and interesting one, covering abt 10 countries from the east to the west... i am so envious of him!! i don't think i can just quit my job, postpone my studies and go backpacking ALONE!! hahaha =)

Out of fun, we compared the number of countries that we have been to so far... There are 245 countries in the world and i have been to only 15 countries! Wow, really really little lor!! I console myself with the fact that i am still young and can do more traveling over the next 20 years... =P

Tennis lesson at former NIE... courtesy of my Bank as this is part of the staff welfare, quite good hor... =) good opportunity to hone my rusty tennis skills

Visit to Singapore Art Museum
08/08: hmm, i think we went for this Art of Our Time tour?? dont remember... oops! guess we can just go in to look look bah... since it's free admission and i have no appointment... YET...
15/08: Post Doi-Moi: Vietnamese Art After 1990
22/08: School: 8Q-rate

Else we can chill out at Novus... nice place with live music... the martini intercity card is still valid, hahaha...

3. 9 and 23 Aug 2008, Saturday
Usual sat stuff like KTV, blade, dinner... let me know your intention...

i propose the following on 09/08: klunch @ clementi, then we can finish the remaining trail for southern ridges: floral walk, hort park and canopy walk, then do dinner at sunset way (so that i can check out the new restaurants and to chill out)

it is a must to avoid the npd crowd in town!! hahaha
