Ugly sweaters?
So who is in for ugly sweaters on Christmas Eve? we're getting together right? I don't know anything but I thought this year if anyone was up for it, we needed to give the proper amount of time for you all to search the thrift stores for those gem of sweaters!
If everyone is in on the ugly sweaters, I think this year we, there should be a prize for the best ugly dressed family! Only if you are up for it. Let me know what you think!

Prayers
Richard and Ambers sweet baby girl passed away today. Amber's placenta ruptured so they did an emergency c-section. She was due this week. Test's showed that the baby had no brain activity so they will pull the life support tonight. Please keep their family in your prayers.
Prayers needed
Please pray for Richard Heywood's new baby girl. I only know that she was born by c-section and born without a heart beat and breaths. They are rushing her to the Idaho Falls NICU to keep her breathing mechanically. Richard is Mark and Linda's son- he and Amber are attending BYU Idaho. This little girl is their third baby and first daughter.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Tip of the day.
I was at Lowes the other day talking to a salesman about stainless steel. He told me he always uses Pledge to clean his stainless steel refrigerator, I had never heard of doing that. When I got home I tried it out. It works great, a lot better than the stainless steel spray I had been using. My refrigerator looks shinier too.
Who knew?

Grandma Lela's Pomegranates
Today while cleaning my kitchen I decided to tackle the bag
of pomegranates my sweet neighbor had given to me from her tree. I went to
work cutting them in half and scooping out the fruit to freeze for my
smoothies. I was almost done when
I thought about Grandma, I could hear her voice in my head telling me, " remember pomegranate stains". As a child
I enjoyed picking Pomegranates
from Grandma's tree (or was it a bush) that was by the wash next to the rode. While eating our beautiful red
pomegranates, Grandma would inevitably shoo us outside, telling us to be careful
because pomegranate stains. ..
Sure enough, today I looked down at my white shirt and it
was covered with red splatters.
It is now soaking in my laundry room sink.

I should have
listened to Grandma.
Do any of you remember Grandmas Pomegranates?

Shake It Up
“Shake it up” were the words Katie and I
read on the white board Jeff held up, as we stepped into his hospital room at
The City of Hope. It was Oct. 25, 2008; he also graced us with his warm winning
smile. His mouth was full of sores, a result of the intense chemo he received
before his Stem Cell treatment. Chemo had robbed him of his voice.
Nevertheless, our visit that day was priceless. Sadly, Jeffrey returned to our
Heavenly Home a few days later.“ Shake it up” has become our family Motto. It’s an admonishment to have Joy and live life to the fullest…… Jeff would want it that way.
A few months after Jeff died family and friends joined us to participate in Relay For Life, our team “Shake It Up” walked in Jeff’s Memory. Cancer never sleeps, so we walked all night to support the fight against Cancer. Through our team more than a thousand dollars was donated to the American Cancer Society. While gathering music to make a CD to play for the event, I first heard the 1981 Car’s song, “Shake it up”. I must have been busy with my young family when this song was popular, because it wasn't familiar to me. It was the perfect ballad for the relay.
Fast forward to last Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, the day Stacey and Greg were married. It had been a tender week for me. I felt Jeff in the temple that morning at Greg and Stacey’s beautiful ceremony. Later, as I drove down Center Street on my way to the wedding luncheon my thoughts were again of Jeff and how much I missed him. Jeff loved family events. Alone in the car with my radio turned down, I came to the Mesa Cemetery. As I passed by, I waved and said out loud “ Hello Jeff we miss you”. Immediately After speaking those words I leaned over and turned up my radio. The song “Shake it up” was playing. I had never before heard that song on the radio. As the tune filled my car, chills ran down my spine. To me this was truly a tender mercy, a wonderful reminder of God’s awareness of us and the reality of angels in our lives.
Anyone need a twin bed?
We are getting rid of the other one that was moms, if you want it let me know soon.
