Christmas in November...

Last month I received presents from Cousin Yukon in the mail and JB's Mom when she visited. It was like Christmas in October. In early November, my Mom had an Eskie Meet with some CELs (Crazy Eskie Ladies), including Comet and BLU's girl and Casper's Mom! This is getting to be a common DWB lifestyle now. On the day the Eskie Meet was held, it was pouring cats and dogs (that is a horrible expression, don't you think?) so us dogs could not visit else we'd be standing in the rain (something this Princess Hana would not like).

But, one of the Boone and Sake's Mom, a CEL from Southern California, sent us some gifts for the party! So, it is like Christmas in November! We each got a foldable water/food bowl, a rope toy, and a lint brush! Whoo hoo! I like having Christmas all year round.

This is a purple sweet potato cake (or was that yam?) that Casper D Dog's Mom brought:

And, she brought a mango cake! Yum!

See, the purple sweet potato cake is purple inside! :-)

This is Luna, the host of the Eskie Meet:

This is Loki, Luna's brother, also one of the hosts, playing with his new rope toy:

This is Comet and BLU in their ribbon necklaces that my Mom made for them. They got them when their Girl came back home from the Eskie Meet.

On another note, I nominated JB's brother Bear's photo for November photo of the month! Feel free to vote for Bear here. I think Bear is just about one of the cutest puppies I know! Right now Bear's photo has 11 votes and is tied for first place.

BOLT - coming to a theater near you

Hi Friends, I wanted to alert you to a new movie that is coming out this Friday, November 21. (there was a preview last Saturday but we didn't get a chance to go) The movie is called "Bolt" and there are versions that are in 3-D. It is about a white German Shepherd named Bolt... too bad Bolt isn't an eskie. I think you all should take your human to the drive-in movie theater so you all can see the cute family movie.
I am not sure why I've seen this advertised as 3-D in some places but other places don't mention whether it is 3-D. Either way, if it IS in 3-D, be sure the movie attendent gives YOU a set of 3-D glasses... and tell your human to take the camera along!
Here is what the Wiki says about the movie:
"The film is about Bolt (John Travolta), a small white German Shepherd who has lived all his life on the set of a TV show in which he portrays a superhero dog. As a result, he thinks that his superpowers, and events on film, are real. When he is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he embarks on a cross-country journey to reunite with his owner and co-star, Penny (Miley Cyrus). Along the way, Bolt teams up with a jaded housecat named Mittens (Susie Essman) and a TV-obsessed hamster named Rhino (Mark Walton) who also happens to be an extreme Bolt fanboy, and eventually he discovers that he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero."
Here is the official Disney web site for Bolt: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/bolt/

Let us know how you like the movie!
