cos i was grossly out-bided for the french module i really really wanted.
hahahaha.
this year's no different leh.
out-bidded again!!!!!! too expensive.
all those many-thousand-point bidders for french spoil my market somemore.
bah. =)
my second, third and fourth choice substitutes all cannot get also.
soci modules -> bad timetable clash. =(
universe last sem cost me the humungous amount of points i would need for women's health this sem.
liza says taking women's health is about as good an option as it gets cos (and i quote her)
'you're a woman what. might as well know about your body right??!!!'
true. but aiyah. still cannot afford.
so am saddled with singapore english language theatre.
which looked good when i was selecting my modules...
...but not so good when i came home and read the module description.
hehehehe.
oh well. nothing to do but cross my fingers. =)

WAH LAU!!!

i have yet again proved that the combination of procrastination, harry potter and the lack of self-discipline will bring about my downfall!
hahahaha.
as you guys might have guessed, my final theory test didn't go all that well.
i fail-ded!!!!
bloody computer rubbed it in my face somemore by flashing a big 'FAILED' that lasted at least 30 seconds!!!
in bright red no less.
so chicken neneh can!!!!!
hahahahaha. =)
the mother is going to cook me in curry when she finds out. =)

BIG LAZY ARSE AM I...
seeing as how i've totally whiled away most of today when i have my bloody final theory test tmr!!
and seeing that i know just about nothing about manual cars, i am in trouble aren't i??

i blame my lack of discipline on harry potter!!
its damn good. been reading it the whole day.
what to do??!!
the Advanced Theory of Driving (6th edition, no less) has no fight with Harry Potter.
and by typing this post, i have just proved that im still procrastinating.
wah i suck. heeheehee.

I HAVE ZERO GLAM FACTOR...
its true. it really is.
no glam factor at all.
what has brought this on, you might ask?
ah well. yesterday we had canoe-polo friendlies at TP.
and i had to referee a game together with ultra-thin cos there was a slight shortage of referess or something.
hehehe our idea of refereeing by the way consists of me blowing the whistle whilst ultra-thin does the necessary hand-signals
cos i really cannot, for the life of me, remember what they are.
anyway what happens is that as im walking up and down the length of the pool peering oh-so-very earnestly at the play in case there are any fouls made,
i take a step forward....
...only to land right into the swimming pool!!!!!!
because i've been so bloody busy staring at the game play going on, and waiting to get all trigger-happy with my whistle, i totally missed my step...
...and stepped right into the pool instead!!!
wah lau. damn unglam.
i resurfaced sputtering like a bloody loon.
not to mention, i did bruise my bum and knee.
i am a disgrace to the name of referee!!!
kotex!!! i blame you for my embarassing 'what happens when kim becomes a ref' moment.
hahahaha.
let it be said that i am definitely more careful about where i step now.
die ah. 2 days to my final theory test.
and i've barely started studying for it.
someone should give me a swift kick in the ass.
and not to mention, i am utterly crushed that all of humanity appears to have read the potter book before me.
i even know the ending now can!!! bahhhhhh.
thanks to some incredibly enthusiastic potter fans i call friends. =)
must go out and buy potter before i go nuts.

THERE AND BACK AGAIN...
hehehehe clever title eh??? if i do say so myself.
wah damn not shy.
anyways, am just back from my arts og bbq...
...where i didnt win a single mahjong game!!!!
bah.
hahahaha my child prodigy, on the other hand, whom i was supposed to be supervising (on account that he swore he didn't know how to play the game) won our only set.
i am a failure as a shi fu i tell u.
my child prodigy is better than me!
will go down as the only self-proclaimed shi fu in the history of mahjong to have a child prodigy who could win me hands down.
i am that lousy. hahaha.
it was alot of fun nonetheless!! =)
on another note, KL was a blast!!!!
had a great time and enjoyed every bit of that trip!
good friends + good food + good itenerary = damn good holiday
hehehehe. pictures up soon. i lazy now. =)
ack. am incredibly annoyed with the bloody module bidding system.
pain in my ass.
i just found out i missed my major declaration deadline. so im officially still majorless.
brilliant. heh.
and to add to that, my lit modules next sem are damn boring.
19th century, 20th century, science fiction and fantasy.
the last one being the only redeemable and bearable one out of the lot.
sheesh.
and these were seriously the most interesting of the lot on offer liao.
sigh. sad-ded.
this sem's lit module offerings not that nice.
ah well. am going back to watching L Word. =)

its almost midnight and i have yet to start packing.

and here i am, due for pick up at like 6 plus in the morning.

i should haul my ass off the bed and get started.

sin city is absolutely fabulous.
i swear i love everything about it.

stage to screen was pretty good too.
i think i really like local film. heh.
that could be a totally biased opinion though.

ALL PADS UNITE!!!
hahaha am back from canoe polo training camp!!
2 words to sum it all up: damn fun
it actually did feel really weird waking up without the fellow pads on thursday morning when i got home.
no banging on the door at 6 plus in the morning.
hahaha... yup, u heard right. my fellow pads.

I WANT, I WANT...
.... a mahjong set!!
to fuel my what i hope is not, a passing obsession with the brilliant game that is mahjong.
ah but i think the obsession is here to stay.
now if everyone were to contribute 10 cents to my 'keep kim occupied every afternoon' fund (which i assure you all, is nothing less than an absolutely worthy cause), i'd be able to buy a mahjong set in oh, say...

i kid, i kid.
spent the afternoon playing mahjong where... (and this part is important people)
... i proceeded to win 3 games!!!
3 leh!!!!
first time winning at mahjong... ever!!
all by myself somemore.
wah.
even if i did win only 3 out of the squillion rounds we played, the necessary part to note is...
3 games!!
hehehe. oh joy.
ok am going to quit procrastinating and pack for training camp.
am also v. excited about getting to go help out with arts rag.
i, float builder. wah. =)
