hahaha as profound as the title of this post may sound, it's actually quite the opposite. This is love and happiness defined the Notting Hill way.

a conversation between Anna and William goes like this:

Anna: I can't believe you have that picture on your wall.
William: You like Chagall?
Anna: I do. It feels like how being in love should be. Floating through a dark blue sky.
William: With a goat playing the violin.
Anna: Yes - happiness isn't happiness without a violin-playing goat.

hahaha that seriously cracked me up. yes my happiness is dependent on a a violin-playing goat being present. =)

OH DEAR...

just gt back from a cj canoeing team gathering.

it was so damn fun.

but after losing a spat of drinking games to josh and hams, i fear i might never drink again. cannot make it lah.

and it wasn't even alot can!!

am feeling damn lousy from the stuff. Fi, u were right! shouldn't have drank it! hehehe

am a tad wooozy. argh. this no good. hee.

MAMBO AFTERMATH...

had v. good time at mambo last night. hehehe cheesy retro music is what i live for.

at the risk of incurring fi's wrath, i shall briefly mention her erm, drunken poodle-ly (erm, and did i say drunken??) exploits.

hahaha these included bad german words, many many "i heart yous", equally many many "ho ho ho!"s, slaps and wanting to go to kallang river. haha sorry fi. i had so much fun la, its too funny not to write down.

and i vaguely recall somewhere along the line while drinking, we actually toasted jesus. oh, the blasphemy of it all! hehehe =)

hmmm strangely enough, listening to melancholic music makes me happy.

sheesh. and this is coming from me, who loves cheesy upbeat crap. the cheesier the better! haha gosh i must be ill. =)

and breaking benjamin's forget it really rocks! its been on repeat mode on my player these past few days. god knows why, but listening to it makes me happy.

hahaha i should credit bitch for the intro to breaking benjamin. eh i might actually have to publicly admit that i think u have good taste. which i just did! oh the horror! =)

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE CRITTER-ISH KIND...

ok yet again, i cannot evade my oh so unfortunate fate.

yesterday i encountered the gross-est and most horror-inducing critter of them all.

a bloody centipede.

yes, u heard right. and this is where i take a moment to shriek hysterically. argh.

and of all places to find it, it was discovered in the spraydeck i was just about to put on! wah lau. can die.

i was soaking the spraydeck in the pool water when all of a sudden, this freakishly many-legged critter comes crawling out of some crevice in the spraydeck!!!

oh.dear.god.

this is way way worse than the cockroach in the toilet roll. what if i had actually put the spraydeck on?? i'd have a bloody centipede down my pants!!

needless to say, i shrieked v. hysterically as if about to keel over from coronary arrest.

hahaha im jinxed la, when it comes to critters.

DOWN WITH BLOODY BASEBALL!!

ok so maybe not baseball per se, but the baseball essay!! down with it!! grrr.

why in the hell i chose baseball out of all the other available topics, i totally cannot fathom.

i must be bloody out of my mind. i know absolutely nothing about baseball. and my essay is looking more and more like crap. ugh.

heh. and this is so not turning out to be a good start to the day.

and with the added additions of lit tutorial later for which i still have not touched the readings and prob will have little to contribute to the discussion as well as gym training, it just makes me wanna go back to sleep. hah.

ah well. its actually not all that bad. im just supremely cranky about my lousy baseball essay. not much time left. gotta churn out more crap. = 0

speaking of crushing things like cockroaches, i feel like crushing a certain mr ****.

and divesting him of all his crucial bits. some people have egos the size of my ass. and my ass is BIG i can tell u that. argh. hahaha shih, u'd know wat im getting at here. i used the nickname u bestowed!! hahaha =)

in other cockroach news, i swear i encountered the biggest one known to mankind in the loo yesterday. hahaha ok maybe not the biggest known to mankind, but big enough to make me nearly keel over from coronary arrest!!

and to top it all off, it fell out of the bloody toilet roll.

what the hell is a cockroach doing hiding in the toilet roll???!! siao.

so anyways, i freaked out so much the mum had to come running in with what looked like a whole week's worth of newspapers all ready to smoosh the bugger.

which she did. and she oh-so-coolly flushed it down the loo.

i stood there peering into the loo for a full 5 minutes to see if it would resurface all bloated and gross or something.

im a wimp. boo hoo.

wah. i swear i think my mum is the coolest person in the world when it comes to things like that.

second time this week i've come into dangerously close contact with disgusting critters. last sat it was the gross live jumping fish i accidentally scooped into our boat. ewwww.

hurhurhur and i've discovered that person-with- nice-voice does have a really really nice voice! fwah!!

for saying this, i suspect fi will sock me in the face and call me a loser. hahahah

MORNINGS AND CHEESY 80's MUSIC...

which incidentally im listening to right now. god, im the biggest sucker in the world when it comes to cheesy 80's music. i love it. hehehe

yesterday was liza's birthday!! happy birthday babe! now that you're 20, ur gonna have to live with the agony of knowing that you'll never be able to write the number 1 when u fill in the age column in forms anymore ! wahahaha but i love u many many anyways!!

went to wala wala to celebrate yesterday. was a whole lot of fun. hahaha the arts og people are great lah, they really are. hahaha.. but i was sad-ded that we couldn't get to see EIC. was hoping to get to see them play. gah!! cos it was too crowded and they couldn't give us a space upstairs so we landed up downstairs instead.

this past week has been crazy tho. 24 hours in a day are really not enough. kanasai.

and the other half of the Double-K duo (aka myself) has learnt a new bad word!! courtesy of kos!(yes kos, it is your fault no matter wat u say!) ... hahahahaha its too vulgar to publish here as i fear i might render people blind.. but if u really really want to know what it is, please ask me!! i think i've got the pronunciation of it pretty much perfect liao after so much practice! wahahaha

rowing later today. hopefully it doesn't get too hot. im feeling a tad lethargic today. if the weather is bad, i might seriously drown myself.

there's a fluffy bird outside my window. its weird. cos its gone and puffed itself up so it now just looks really fluffy. damn cute, in a rather warped sense. heh.
