IN A WEIRD FUNK...

ack. i don't realli know why, but i seem to be feeling particularly down in the dumps these past few days. am in some kind of weird funk that i can't seem to get out of. am feeling very moochy and depressed. ack.ack.ack. realli do not like the feeling. just found out there's canoe polo try-outs on sunday. am v.scared nw, as never have played the sport in my life. knowing me, i'll probably slam a paddle into myself and break my face! god, im so accident prone. :p argh... i don't like try-outs, they always get me v. worked up and jumpy. still remember wat it was like to haf to go thru try-outs for T1 in canoeing last yr. incredibly nerve-wracking!! but oh well, no harm trying rite?? hmmm... still in a weird funk... gotta go back to my readings for tmr... trust me to haf an entire free day today and laze it away!!! so typically me! nw im stuck trying to finish my readings.. crap.

... who incidentally happens to be my new lap-top!!!!!! hahahahaha... despite wat everyone says abt Doris being an utterly stupid name, i think my lap-top is a Doris thru and thru!!! i no longer address it as 'my lap-top'... it's more like, 'has Doris's batteries run out??' hahahaha... it's funny how quickly i've grown so super attached to my lap-top and it's onli been a day! hah.
anyways, haf realised it's abt time i got down to attempting to follow wat the hell's going on in lectures... argh... shld try to do my readings and stuff cos me, yvette, jen and rachel discovered that if u dun do ur readings beforehand, u just dun follow wat's going on! hahahaha... yup, so all i had to show for my 2 hours in lecture were a bunch of cartoon sea creatures sketched out on my test-pad to get rid of my boredom and to pass time while i was totally clueless! :) oh well.
went for catholic students soc... it's nice and the ppl are real friendly, so yup, i guess that's a good thing. :) hahaha... am going back to reading my cheesy nicholas sparks book nw... as much as i hate to admit his books are so damn sappy, they're real good! i actually like reading him! oh well, like i say, wonders will never cease... :)

BLOODY CORS SYSTEM!! DIE!!!

am currently trying to work out tutorial timings right nw... just found out im allowed to put in up to 2o options... shit... and knowing how utterly disorganised i am, im bloody bound to clash one tutorial with another!!!!! Argh!!!!!! oh well, as Yvette said, im probably gonna haf to pray like 20 rosaries or something in the hope that i get the timings i want... jeez, this is hard! my organisational skills suck :(
Anyways, on a brighter note, Phelps and Thorpe go head to head tonight! whee... so exciting! *Note to self* must not go to sleep before then! hahahaha... realise i watch the olympics for the most absolutely wrong reasons! was watching the gymnasts this morning and mentally berating my mum for giving me an absoulute lack of gymnastic ability! (it's all in the genes i tell u)... watching gymnastics is super bad for my ego... i can't even turn a bloody cartwheel... PE lessons in primary school when they teach u how to turn cartwheels always saw me spending most of my time just standing there trying to figure out how to do one without actually cracking my skull!
had to drag myself v. unwillingly down to physiotherapy today... bah! and found out my oh-so-gay therapist has a girlfriend! oh my god. and i was convinced he had alternative preferences!! ah well, guess i was wrong after all... perhaps he's just naturally effeminate... :) but bloody hell, the git made me go running today! i haven't done it in the longest time! came back all huffy with my hair gel dripping all over the bloody place... so unglam! hahahaha... dunno why i even bothered wif the gel! argh... anyways, i is needing to go back to choosing my slots... no skool tmr, and my lap top pick-up! yay! :)

my laptop's ready!!!!! Finally!!!!! hahahaha... i just got an email saying i could come down to collect it from monday onwards! can't wait! hahahaha... i sound so bloody suaku... nv had a laptop before so excuse the utter "suaku-ness" of it all! hahahahaha... will type an entry from my laptop the minute i get it... can't wait! can't wait!
hahaha... today was a v.good day... spent the earlier part of the afternoon wif cheryl prepping for the arts og bbq... we were assigned salad making (which one wld think is a total fuss-free task) hahahaha...but when it comes to cheryl and me, it turned into a full blown 2 hr thing in which i spent much of the time fretting over cheryl's dog and cat who had to be tied up due to the fact i was abt to keel over from a heart attack everytime they came near me! ahahahaha... but the salad making was v.fun! (we sang cheesy moffats songs whilst we were at it.. so unglam! hahaha) but the salad turned out pretty well if i do say so myself, despite our v.questionable issue of hygiene which shall remain a kept secret... :)
anyways, the bbq was v. v. fun!! realli enjoyed myself loads! was kinda sad i had to leave early tho cos my folks wanted me home to help entertain the guests at my place (who, by the way are still here and dun seem to wanna go home) cos they're doing this early celebration of my sister's birthday... tho it's become more like my daddy's party wif his frens cos my sis is in the room wif her little friends and totally oblivious to the fact that the party is for her! argh... i swear, any moment now, my dad's gonna shriek at me to come out and clear more glasses or pour more beer for his friends! jeez! :p
past couple of days haf also been v.good... on thurs, cheryl, cherissa and me had a super long break and thus headed down to holland village to stuff our faces and buy v. nice stuff (we couldn't help ourselves, long breaks are bad for us!) hahahaha... friday too, we went to west mall to eat and buy a super complicated cross stitch piece that the 3 of us haf vowed to complete btw us! hahahaha... ambitious of us eh? :) before heading back to skool where we killed time in Carin's room (it's super nice!) by doing weird indian dances outside her door! hahahahaha... think we totally embarassed her! she can't face her neighbours anymore! :) ack, i gotta go help entertain more... my dad's breathing down my neck abt my absence already! pah! :)
oh, and congrats congrats to nas!!! who did super well on her management competition! her team was champion!!!!! am so so happy for you dearie!!! u seriously deserve this! luv ya v. much! :)

SOMEONE BREAK MY BROTHER"S GUITAR!

He.Won't.Stop.Playing.His.Guitar. argh!!!!! whilst i think my brother is hugely talented at his guitar playing, it's driving me bloody nuts cos i haf, for some strange reason, a v.bad headache.
I can hear him through my closed door! and mind u, my brother does not believe in soothing kind of strumming guitar chords and singing along to a ballad. His kind of guitar playing is the all out squealing guitar riffs, jumping up and down on the bed (very air-guitar) yelling along to ozzy osbourne and slipknot kind of guitar playing... Ordinarily, i think my brother's playing is quite cool but today i just feel like snipping the strings... gah! am cranky.... :(

I'M UTTERLY FLABBERGASTED...

am back!! and it's 2.30 in the morning! believe it or not guys, my mum didn't call!!!! holy shit!!! that realli is a first! cos u guys that know my mum know how anal she is abt me coming back late and she'll call bloody incessantly till i give up and agree to come home... (now that's determination for you) hahahahahaa... anyways, tonight, i juz called her at 11pm to say i'd be back late and she was totally ok with it! She even agreed to leave the housekey by the stone pig so i'd be able to get into the house!! jeez!!!! will wonders never cease... hahahahaa... oh well, i shouldn't be complaining abt it eh??
had a lot of fun tonight... mel, sarah, jin yue, lumps and i hung out at the chocolate buffet, stuffing ourselves silly!! and on a whim, decided to head to centro cos ntu was having some bash... tix are cheaper at bashes... hahahahaha... we all agreed that the music was v. horrid cos we all detest techno... but all the same, the company was fabulous and i had a great time!!!! i luv u guys!!!!! :) am off to bed nw... goodnight world!!! :)
