Pornography damage your brain and your heart:

Allah will heal you

Allah, the Almighty, has not enacted any law except for the good of this world and the hereafter, and what humans have done in terms of obscenity and perversion only destroys the soul and body with all kinds of afflictions, diseases and disasters. The medical, psychological and social studies have proven this.

The impact of addiction, to behaviors that are bawdy or sexually explicit, can extend far beyond immediate gratification, affecting both physical and psychological health. The brain and the heart, two of the body's most vital organs, are especially susceptible to the damaging effects of such addictions. Understanding the breadth of this impact is crucial to recognizing the seriousness of the issue.

When it comes to the brain, addiction to lewd content can alter its normal functioning and structure. The brain's reward system, which is responsible for feelings of pleasure and motivation, can become overly dependent on the stimulation provided by such content, leading to a need for increasingly more explicit or frequent encounters to achieve the same level of satisfaction. This can diminish interest in other activities and harm interpersonal relationships. Moreover, prolonged exposure to and addiction to such content can lead to changes in brain areas responsible for impulse control and judgment, making it harder for individuals to manage their behaviors and make sound decisions.

The heart, too, is not immune to the effects of such addictions. While the direct impact might seem less obvious than that on the brain, stress and anxiety associated with addiction can lead to increased heart rate and blood pressure, putting unnecessary strain on the heart. Over time, this can contribute to a range of cardiovascular problems, including heart disease. Additionally, the lifestyle choices often associated with addiction, such as poor diet and lack of exercise, further exacerbate the risk of heart-related issues.

In summary, the addiction to bawdiness can profoundly damage both the brain and the heart, highlighting the importance of seeking help and support to overcome such challenges. Recovery involves not just abstaining from harmful behaviors or content but also engaging in activities that promote overall well-being, including physical health, mental health, and emotional connections with others.

Every person must know that the best jihad (efforts) is the jihad of the soul, and that the path of righteousness and goodness is much more difficult than the path of misguidance, obscenity and perversion, as it is the path of the thorns.

There are many abominations, both visible and hidden, and both have consequences. As technology and means of communication advance and nations open up to each other, corrupt morals flourish and competition becomes nothing more than a competition for a worn-out bowl, bad conditions, and short-lived pleasures.

Today, corruption has spread on land, sea and air, and publicizing obscenity and homosexuality has become the habit of not many people, but Western governments as well, under the names of human rights and the like. Corruption is the opposite of righteousness, and it is said that the people have become corrupted, that is, they have broken ties and have become forbidden to know what is known and ordered what is forbidden.

The Almighty said

Seek instead, by means of what God has granted thee, [the good of] the life to come, without forgetting, withal, thine own [rightful] share in this world; and do good [unto others] as God has done good unto thee; and seek not to spread corruption on earth: for, verily, God does not love the spreaders of corruption!” (28: 77 Holy Quran)

Allah has associated this with the Hereafter, while describing the request for this world as having a share in it that you will not forget, i.e. making the weight of the Hereafter greater, while the world is only a share and a small enjoyment.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

(Obscenity has never appeared in a people until it was made public, except that the plague and pestilence spread among them, which was not in their ancestors who had passed away)

The most serious threat to societies, families and peoples is pornography, which has entered every home with an ease that was unheard of thirty or twenty years ago.  The Internet and various means of communication pose a great danger to youth, adolescents and even adults, both male and female.

Statistical studies indicate that the number of people who visit pornographic sites and the like is increasing, which exposes them to various psychological, behavioral and mental illnesses, not to mention homosexuality, crime, drugs, falling into the clutches of vice and crime, or being a victim of misuse.

It is worth mentioning that in 2006 alone, pornography revenues worldwide amounted to 97 billion dollars, more than the revenues of Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo, Apple, and Netflix combined.  So it is money at the expense of people's health and dignity, and therein lies the sedition.

There are many recent medical studies, from the University of Cambridge in the UK and German studies, among others, about the effect of watching pornographic pornography, as this type of movie causes frightening health damage to the brain, similar to the effect caused by the use of narcotic substances.

This leads to the shrinking of the brains of those addicted to these sites, especially the frontal lobe of the brain, which makes them more stupid and with sick personalities, in addition to some of their brain centers becoming lethargic

To make what Satan casts a temptation for those whose hearts are diseased and whose hearts are hardened, and that the unjust are in a distant discord) (53 Al-Hajj)

It has become difficult to control these sites because they have become providing services to bypass the blockade imposed by some countries through various means.

It is the downfall of the human race in the mud and abomination, which is the goal of Satan since ancient times and has human collaborators working for him day and night. Pornography has existed throughout recorded history, and has evolved with the emergence of each new medium.

Hundreds of frescoes and sexually explicit sculptures were found in the ruins of Mount Vesuvius in (Pompeii) in Italy, which was struck by a volcano, which completely annihilated it and turned its people practicing fornication into clay statues to be an example for those after them, but man is lost in ignorance.

Since the advent of the internet, the use of porn has risen to dangerous levels. For example, Pornhub, the world's largest free porn site, received more than 34 billion hits in 2018 alone.  That's the equivalent of almost half the planet's population on one porn site, let alone 4.5 million porn sites.

It is one of the disasters that threaten humanity with extinction or divine wrath

When our affliction came upon them, they supplicated, but their hearts hardened, and Satan decorated for them what they were doing” (Al-An'am, 43)

And the Almighty said

Some of them We sent a hailstorm upon them, some of them were taken by the thunderbolt, and some of them were drowned, and Allah would not oppress them, but they themselves were oppressing themselves (40 Al-Ankabut)

And the Almighty said

“Is it safe for those who plot evil deeds that Allah will strike the earth with them, or that the punishment will come to them from where they do not expect it?” (45 al-Nahl).

When our command came, We made the high places lower, and rained down upon them stones of mangled scales (82 Hud).

Science has only recently begun to uncover the neuropsychological repercussions of pornography and homosexuality and what is clear is that the mental health and psychosexual lives of the porn-addicted public are suffering major catastrophic effects.

These studies have proven that the relationship between brain damage and other diseases caused by pornography is causal.   This includes depression, personality disorders, memory impairment, lack of intelligence, and erectile dysfunction, as studies show that pornography hijacks the neural wiring of its viewers, leading to serious consequences.

Psychologically, addiction to these sites may start by entering for the sake of curiosity, but the person soon finds himself addicted unless he pays attention and strives to quit, and this is a kind of turning a blind eye that Allah (swt) has commanded us to do.

Tell the believers to lower their gaze and guard their foroj (weak points), for that is purer for them, for Allah is well aware of what they do.  And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their foroj and do not show their adornment... (30-31 Alnur)

Foroj is the weak points, that we already discussed in our books which means the gabs that may allow Satan to emerge through them and one of them is pornography.

After becoming addicted to pornography, the addict starts looking for new, strange or odd things, and this is what the people behind these sites do.

After the addict drowns in pornography, he becomes psychologically impotent except in relation to these sites, so the addiction becomes a disease, or even several diseases.

People addicted to pornography and homosexuality have a high level of dopamine in the brain, which makes it very difficult to stimulate it in normal ways, and it has been found that this happens even with moderate use of these sites, not just addiction.

This dopamine also causes depression, anxiety and deterioration of mental health, and it works to increase and accumulate the molecular switch protein called deltaFosB, a common element in most cases of addiction and leads to poor memory and concentration.  It also numbs a person from the pleasures of other life and real sex in marriage, called desensitization.

It makes the person need greater and greater stimulation because sex for the addict becomes only pornography and then the search for homosexuality. When a person reaches the stage of illness, the addiction becomes compulsive

And whoever has the devil as his consort is a bad consort (38 al-Nisa)

And Satan wants to lead them astray (60 al-Nisa)

Recent studies have confirmed that the more a person becomes addicted to pornography, the less influence traditional pornography has on him and he resorts to looking for anomalies.  Then the person starts watching (sexual violence) and other abnormal sites or applying what he sees to normal life, which results in crimes and assaults.  Some researchers attribute this action and addiction in this way to the Mirror Neurons.  These are newly discovered cells that are activated when a person performs an action or watches someone else do the same thing.  Some studies have indicated that the frontal lobe of the brain shrinks and becomes smaller in porn addicts.

Studies have shown that the IQ of pornography users decreases and they become less intelligent and develop sick, isolated and disturbed personalities.

Other studies have shown damage to the frontal lobe of the brain, known as prefrontal syndrome.  The frontal lobe is the nucleus, where it was found that cellular activity in the prefrontal cortex decreases when civilians access pornographic sites, according to MRI brain scans.  This area of the brain (the nucleus) is relied upon to make strategic decisions, not impulsive (false positives). Patients with injuries to this area of the brain exhibit aggression, poor judgment of future consequences (false false nucleus), and an inability to inhibit inappropriate responses similar to those observed in drug users.

There is a system called the Reward system located in the part of the brain known as the Mesolimbic system that specializes in what is known as Rewards. The function of this system is that when a person performs an action, it creates stimulation or pleasure (satisfaction of accomplishment).

It has been found that porn addiction damages this system and the reward system in the brain is rendered useless.

The porn addict's reward system becomes increasingly attracted to the most seductive pornography, i.e. they search for what is more erotic and more perverse. His reward system atrophies from everything else except pornography.  Until it reaches a dangerous degree, when the addict looks at the computer or cell phone screen, his brain goes into standby mode and his reward circuitry is “stimulated to do it now: “I want to do it now (the false corner)”

These people are impulsive and weak-willed. The battle between clear thinking and temptation intensifies, and the person has a very weak willpower that cannot say “no”.  This is the satanic temptation that Almighty Allah has clearly described when He said

Whenever you are tempted by Satan, seek refuge in Allah, for He is all-knowing and all-hearing” (Al-A'raf, 200)

And the Almighty said

O children of Adam, do not be tempted by Satan, as he took your parents out of the Garden, removing their clothes to show them their nakedness, for he sees you and his tribe from where you do not see them, for We have made the devils the guardians of those who do not believe (Al-A'raf 27)

Not only that, but the person becomes more anxious and motivated to look at pornographic sites at every stress of any kind.

It has been found that the gray matter in the brain decreases significantly in even moderate porn users, not just addicts.  This causes a decrease in IQ, cognition, and difficulty concentrating, a condition known as brain fog, until it becomes a pathological condition in which a person cannot think properly and becomes confused, forgetful, and mentally unclear.

Then porn addicts reach a state of inferiority, humiliation, humiliation and contempt, and they become looking for porn with more abnormalities such as humiliation, incestuous relationships, sadism or the like, and may fall into the hands of the police or the law because of this

The heart of porn addicts becomes dark and diseased, and a layer like burnt oil forms on it, which leads to blindness and makes them constantly complain because of the rust (see the research on the heart, the meshkah, and blindness), as Almighty God said

No, but their hearts are full of what they used to earn” (Al-Mutafafeen 14)

Studies have shown that after some time of addiction, the addicted person becomes unable to quit, and if he or she quits, they will develop (withdrawal symptoms) withdrawal symptoms, including erotic dreams, irritability, anxiety, attention disorder, loneliness, obsessive thoughts and intense longing for pornography. Studies have shown that people who are able to abstain from pornography have improved performance in their daily work, increased energy, mental clarity and productivity, and have an enhanced sense of pleasure and enjoyment from normal daily activities.  The Almighty said

As for those whose hearts are diseased, it added to their abomination, and they died while they were disbelievers (125 al-Tawbah)

Advises how to stop pornography addiction

One of the most important recommendations for treatment is to constantly remember Allah and repent to Him, as He is the Merciful Repentant

And Allah wants to repent you, but those who follow lusts want to follow a great tendency (Al-Nisa 27)

God wants His servants to repent, but the issue is with these sites and those who follow the devils of mankind who want you to deviate severely.

Attendance at prayer is important because leaving it can lead a person to commit abominations

And there followed after them a successor who neglected the prayer and followed their lusts, and they will meet with an evil fate” (59 Maryam)

In other words, those who leave the prayer will follow their lusts, and this will lead them to absurdity and diseases, prayer five times per day are programing and recharging and washing the Satan temptations.

And the Almighty said:

And observe the prayer, for the prayer forbids obscenity and abomination, and the remembrance of Allah is greater, and Allah knows what you are doing (45 Al-Ankabut)

Regularly reading the Holy Qur'an, the Almighty saidWhen you read the Qur'an, We make between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a veil of secrecy. ,And We send down from the Qur'an what is healing and mercy for the believers, and does not increase the oppressors except for loss (82 Al-Israa')

Finally, your health, your future, your beloved ones and your afterlife are better than all pornographic sites, so try to find useful talents and hobbies and occupy yourself with them, and know that Allah has honored you, so do not defile yourself.   And always remember the Almighty's saying

Tell the believers to lower their eyes and guard their foroj, for that is purer for them, for Allah is aware of what they do (30 Alnur).

Foroj is crakes or opening (weaknesses) inside the self, so do not make yourself openings for the devil, and strive to block them before the devil penetrates through them, and know that the devil has many ways if you close a door, defect or gap, he will come to you from another, and you can torture him and conquer him with the remembrance of God, for the remembrance of God makes him retreat, and know that he is your enemy, so do not associate with those who want you badly and want to humiliate and humiliate you.

Allah is the best protector and the most merciful of the merciful.

 Plants Communication and Cognition

The concept that plants have language, feelings, and cognition is a fascinating topic that bridges the gap between science, philosophy, and spirituality. While plants do not have brains or nervous systems like animals, recent research suggests they possess complex mechanisms for communication, perception, and interaction with their environment. These challenges traditional views of plant life and opens up intriguing possibilities about the nature of intelligence and consciousness.

Plants communicate through a variety of means. Chemical signaling is one of the most well-documented forms of plant communication. When under attack by pests, many plants release volatile organic compounds into the air. These compounds serve as distress signals that can be detected by neighboring plants, which then preemptively bolster their own defenses. This form of communication is not just limited to intra-species interactions; plants can also influence the behavior of animals, including humans, through the release of these compounds, affecting pollination, seed dispersal, and even deterring herbivores.

Regarding feelings and cognition, the concept is more metaphorical, as plants do not have feelings in the human sense. However, they do exhibit behaviors that suggest a form of awareness and adaptability. For example, plants can sense and respond to light, gravity, water, touch, and various chemical cues in their environment. Some studies have shown that plants can learn from experience and adjust their behaviors accordingly, a trait that hints at a form of memory or cognition. The Venus flytrap, for instance, can count the number of times an insect touches its sensors before closing its trap, ensuring it does not waste energy on false alarms. This ability to process information and respond in a manner that maximizes survival and reproductive success might not equate to human-like cognition but suggests a level of complexity in plant life that warrants deeper exploration and respect.  In this chapter we will discuss that interesting issue between the Holy Quran and science.

Allah in the Holy Quran said: Do you not see that to Allāh prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allāh humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allāh does what He wills (Al-Haj 18)

And the stars and trees prostrate)6 Al-Rahman- Holy Quran)

Living things include all plants, as plants are living creatures that feed, live, breathe, feel, communicate with each other, and may establish a relationship between them and their owners, and all of this, of course, has its own philosophies specific to the plant and its type, and this is what we will address in this article.

Plants are living beings with a soul, but not like the soul of humans and animals. They get sick, live and die, have special genes and are part of the mutual exchange of life between humans and non-humans, but their feelings are limited, as they do not regret because they are more harnessed.

They are an integral part of nature and its balances.   Trees are growing plants that have parts that include trunk, branches, leaves, roots, and, like humans, need water and other basic needs.

Trees take in water, sunlight and carbon dioxide through a process known as photosynthesis. This process produces glucose, or sugar, which the tree uses for energy, and oxygen as a byproduct (humans then inhale the oxygen and exhale the carbon dioxide for the tree to use, continuing the cycle) They and humans are two elements in one cycle

The lifespan of trees ranges from short-lived trees to trees that live thousands of years.

Trees lack a well-developed nervous system like ours, but they emit electrical signals from within, suggesting that they have some sort of nervous system and cognition. Some contemporary botanists explain that they have discovered the presence of neurotransmitters in trees such as Serotonin, Dopamine and Glutamate, which are the same as those found in humans to transmit nerve signals in the human brain. It has been proven that trees feel certain emotions, such as the crying of some trees when they are cut down, and they scream with a sound with vibrations that the human ear does not hear.  Sometimes when they are cut down, we hear them humming and crying before they fall to the ground.

A tree's emotional range is somewhat limited, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. For example, trees can sense and react to cold, heat, dryness, touch, and external issues.

When a plant senses that it's too cold, it initiates responses that can help protect it from harm, such as trees using their bark to reflect light and dissipate heat. To protect themselves from heat, trees use their leaves to shade themselves, and they also use conductive cooling and insulation.

Trees feel dehydrated when they don't have enough water to meet their needs, which is equivalent to us feeling thirsty. When they feel thirsty, they take measures to conserve water and ration its use by physiologically reducing the amount of evaporation. In general, plants can sense touch, but there is debate as to whether touching them is beneficial or harmful to them, with some studies showing that touch stunts plant growth.

Trees can also sense insects and mix chemicals internally to form compounds that act as repellents or attractants depending on the type of insect, if it is harmful to the tree, it secretes repellents, and if it is beneficial or an insect-eating plant, it secretes attractants, such as attracting bees that are useful in pollination.

Some plants feed on certain insects that they recognize when they land on them, so they close around them like a mouth and absorb and digest them, so they feel hungry as we feel and digest as well.

Some of them eat some rodents, large animals, trees and plants cry when they are thirsty using high-pitched ultrasonic waves between 20 to 100 kilohertz that the human ear cannot pick up, and when they feel pain or when they are afraid, as when they are cut.

Trees have a vast arsenal of ways to communicate with each other, including sending electrochemical, hormonal and slow-pulsed electrical signals and communicating through the air using volatile organic elements. Trees even have senses we lack, such as the ability to sense changes in gravity, the presence of water or even the presence of mass in their roots.

In the first decade of the 21st century, ecologists began talking about “mother trees”. It was found that these older trees send nutrients, carbon, water and alarm signals to younger trees of the same species to help them grow and protect them, similar to the parental relationship between humans and animals. It was found that these trees communicate with each other through a type of root fungus, Mycorrhiza, which exists in networks underground and in the roots of the trees.

It was also found in an experiment in which plants were placed in different and distant pots and then one of them was infected with a fungal disease and after a period of days, it was found that the neighboring plants that are far from the infected plants began to produce antibodies against the fungal disease that infected their neighbor and concluded from this that the infected plants sent through the air through volatile organic matter that acts as information signals warnings about this disease, which prompted them to produce antibodies against it and on the same basis found the same behavior taken by plants to protect themselves from other thorns or even herbivores and predators that transmit diseases, praise be to God the Creator.

In other experiments, plants were planted under identical conditions and were divided into two groups, one was left alone and the second was exposed to prayer or prayer by people, and it was observed that the growth and nature of the plants that were exposed to prayer was much higher than the first, then the same experiment was repeated, but this time the people who prayed and prayed were very far from the plants, and the same result was observed.  This shows that plants have feelings, respond and have a language to communicate with each other and respond to the prayers of their owners.  In 2006, a group of ecologists coined a new phrase called Plant Neurobiology as a field

The paper argued that the plants were not responding directly to the stimulus because the reeds were too far away. Therefore, the plant must have perceived the reed in some way that is not exactly known but is similar to neural sensations. There is a growing body of research on plant cognition. Researchers have observed that there is communication between plants and animals such as insects and bees that feed on the nectar of flowers through vibrational sound vibrations, leading to a reciprocal relationship to produce good quality honey and at the same time obtain good pollination with the ability of plants to control the behavior of their insect partners through chemical organic compounds.

Evidence that plants can recognize same-species relatives, distinguish relatives from non-relatives, and distinguish between different classes of relatives, which play an essential role in animal social cognition, has been found in plants. For example, studies focusing on root allocation and interaction show that Impatiens pallida specimens fight for resources more aggressively if they compete with members of different species. Similarly, root allocation in Cakile edentula increases when a group of strangers share a pot, but not when groups of related individuals do so. These results suggest that root interaction and root-derived chemical secretions play a critical role as cues for kin recognition and competitive discrimination between relatives, leading to adaptive behavioral changes. Subsequent studies indicate the importance of photoreceptors in kin recognition. For example, the Arabidopsis plant Arabidopsis recognizes kin neighbors by detecting far-red/red light and blue light profiles. Furthermore, Arabidopsis models that interact with members of their relatives produce more seeds than plants that interact with unrelated members. This is evidence of cooperative behavior in plants.

Recent research has found that plants and trees have the ability to make decisions in accordance with their needs, such as the amount of light, the quality of nutrients and soil salinity. For example, some plants have been found to sense the salinity of the soil before the root reaches it, so if it is highly saline, they reverse their roots upward and in the opposite direction even before they reach the high-salinity ground.

This research suggests that plants, like other organisms, can engage in complex decision-making, integrating and weighting information from different factors, and prioritizing responses to optimize the chance of survival.

Some plants know from nightfall which way the sun is rising and move their leaves and flowers to face the sun, while others are able to produce other roots suitable for the soil in order to survive.  Plants have proactive behavioral engines that, through their communication with the world around them, can make important decisions in the face of environmental changes.

Plants have a long-term memory of their surroundings, which requires adaptation.  They learn from experiences and remember them to have a healthy structure.  For example, if less nutrients are given to the same type of plant under the same conditions, it is found that those with less nutrients develop more roots than those that are fed more.

The needs of trees are similar to those of humans: they need water, food and air. Unlike humans who need water to use their bodies and excrete waste, trees need water to make their food. Trees drink water through a natural straw known as xylem, which delivers water to the ends of their branches.

Trees have sap that moves nutrients and water through the tree, just like the way transports nutrients and water through the tree, just like the way blood transports nutrients and water to the entire body. The bronchi in our lungs are also similar to tree roots

In summary, trees don't have all the qualities of humans, but they do feel, thirst, hunger, communicate, and are influenced by their God-given life. In fact, a tree's emotional range is limited. It may feel pain, but it doesn't feel regret or happiness or anything like that. However, trees do cry, scream, and perceive despite seemingly lacking the ability to see, hear, feel, and communicate as humans do.  The elements that the plant takes from the soil are the same elements that go into the structure of the human being

And Allah gave you a plant from the earth (Noah 17 Holy Quran).
