Today's card is for a Hope You Can Cling To challenge HYCCT1503 "I Am A Warrior". It uses one of the Hambo Stamp's images I have been waiting and waiting to use - For this challenge, create something that shows strength or inspiration. You could use Native American inspiration, something camo to represent our military heroes, any symbols that invoke strength and fierceness.

This challenge was a PERFECT opportunity to pull this Camouflage Bear digi out and color it up (now I have to do it again soon because I adore it!)

It's been forty-five years since the first Earth Day, an event to increase public awareness of the world’s environmental problems. Earth Day is honored around the world on April 22. So we are celebrating here at the Pigpen too!

I thought it would be fun to do an Earth Day card today using two of Hambo's digis - Trees and Caterpillar.

OH CRAP!!!

Hi there Hambo friends, thought I would share this card that I made that is so quick to make....and you will need this when you have forgotten that special persons birthday!!! but hopefully you will win them over with a bit of snark or humour, these DIRT PILE and OH CRAP!! rubber stamps from Hambo Stamps, will do just the trick to put a smile on the card recipients face, Hambo Stamps always have an element of fun to them.
I started off with a drop of distress ink and water on my craft mat, smooshed the cardstock into it, added a few splatters, while that was drying I stamped the dirt pile image then coloured it and cut it out, layered the background onto some brown cardstock and stuck to my card base, glued some drywall tape, and the image on, and then added the sentiment. super easy and quick!!!

It's a new month and it's the first Wednesday of the month which means... it is time for a Hambo Hoedown! This Hoedown will last for the whole month of February (until March 1st at midnight.)

The theme this month is "Symbols of February" which means:

New Stash Challenge

My oh my how the weeks fly by!! we are now two weeks into our monthly Hambo Hoedown challenge, and this months challenge is all about making any  kind of creation and incorporating  your newly acquired stash, if you are anything like me, I am always "acquiring" new stuff!!!!!  I don't know how my craft room hasn't dropped down into my kitchen yet!!!! Yikes!! and it doesn't help with internet shopping, it is all just too easy and readily available at the touch of a button,...good thing for me, bad thing for my credit card. So anyway, we would love you to join in with our fun challenge, I can't wait to see all your newly gotten stash.

New Year New Stash!!

First of all... Happy New Year to you all.  Now everything is back to normal, back to work, back to eating healthily....well, when all the Christmas chocolate and booze stash has gone!!! .. but more importantly.....back to my lovely craft room to spend more time with all my new stuff that I haven't had time to play with yet!!!!......and that is what this months Hoedown Challenge is all about......using something that you have recently purchase or been given....something new to you!!!  It would be great if you could link your card to your blog and tell us what you have used that is new to you, we look forward to seeing what creations you make using your new stash stuff!!
