Iam really crazy over nail polishes. That I have a list of colors that Iam considering to get >.<



And OPI prices at transdesign.com increased! :( From USD4.49 to USD5.24, plus the shipping cost and postage it'll be more than SGD10?! It sucks leh, just when I wanna some OPI colors the price increased, have to reconsider le! I think, maybe, now i can only get ChinaGlaze or Orly colors. t.t but OPI has a wider range of colors. ARGHZZ!!!

And I haven't given him space to run for a long long long time.. Since he's already out, I decided to let him roam around the "balcony" for a while longer, while I try out my new camera, snapping some photos of him. :)

In preparation for exam..

I had my nails cut, from this LONG..



to this SHORT!



Reason: for ease of writing.
Those who has long nails will understand how tough it is to write with nails that long. And it actually hinders from writing fast, simply because the pen/pencil/etc can't be held properly.

Also, since I had my precious nails cut so short now, I really have to start revising. It's a kind of preparation, motivation, something to pushed me on. hahaha. Had been slacking, procrastinating, whatever it is.. When I should have started on Monday, I still haven't touched anything yet! =X Been tidying my room, washing things like my hams' cages and bags, and whatnots that I can come up with. Except, I haven't given my nails a new coat of colour. IMPRESSIVE wor! hahah. I tried, but am not satisfied with what I did, so i washed it off. Hence, the at-the-moment-naked-nails.

Anyway, now that I've done all these rubbish-i-should-not-be-doing stuff, I'm going, GOing, GOING to start revising proper. Or at least tries. I managed to drag Harnny along when he does not need to start this soon, in the hope that he can influence me to study. hehehhe.

OOh.. before i go.. showing off my awesomely pretty toe nails. Iam uberly satisfied with it, so must share. =D

Iam blogging this caused I love my new camera. It's a Canon Ixus 130 in black. :)

I was rather flickered minded, as usual, initially I wanted to get silver, then I saw black. Really sleek and is a beauty. Then I saw how pretty pink is too! But eventually I still stick with black. Cause it looks good, and I can hardly get tired of black, unlike pink. :)

So.. thanks to Harnny who very willingly accompanied me to get my cam. And I did a few funny things. hahaha. Well. I was on a hyper excited mood. Easy for me to do silly things on these times.

Did I mentioned this; I bought the cam at $439, it comes with a 8gb SD card and a fugly pouch? Uhmm I don't think I did.
The pouch is so ugly.. that I have to prettify it before I will use it. hahaha. So... did some DIY stuff. The outcome was this.

I forgot to take a "before" photo. Cause it's late and I just wanna get down to "work". My impatient-ness at work, as usual.

Now.. As I got my EOS lens today and it's on the table.. So I just use it to demonstrate few other function of the camera.

Minnie Within A Garden Of Roses And Hearts



Completed overnight, spent approximately $40 bucks to buy the materials, where some of which are what I have at home. Now I understand why this kinda thing could be sold over $100. It's the materials plus workmanship. >.<

I was deciding between getting a new leather pouch or go for the Gmask wrap for my iPhone. Went to Gmask twice and was unable to decide which design should I go with the wrapping. Nothing there "took my breath away", none appeals to me. Those friends that went with me those two time gave me the same advice; that is, not to make a hasty decision. And twice, I took that advice quite reluctantly.

While shopping at Far East Plaza after class, with Harn, brought me surprises, and inspiration.

It was there I saw the "BLINGS" decorated iPhone cover. Wanted to buy, but was shocked by the price and hence, I decided to DIY my own. Since, I know where to buy the materials needed. Ideas started forming with suggestions from Harn. Hello Kitty, Minnie Mouse, or Pooh base theme? Flowers, hearts, ribbons, rhinestones? No, I can't decide, not the theme nor the decos. Being really anxious and excited to get starting, I dragged Harrn to look for the shop that sells such DIY stuffs. Because I can't really remember where that particular store I was looking, was located, had to call XF, where she didn't pick up, and walk rounds before finding it. In there, I flipped through jap mags, browse the shelves and finally bought only two items. -.- Because I think I can find more stuffs at Chinatown, especially the rhinestones which would cost less over there.

As it was late in the evening, we decided to have dinner over at FEP before heading down to Chinatown. While we're searching for food to eat, we came by this store which sells lots more 3D items which I could use for the decos. But I left without buying any, because, it either looks fake or clashes with my theme. Yes, by then I've decided that I would do a Minnie Mouse theme. Thanks to the mags. I saw some using those acrylic powders I have for nailarts, showed Harn, and it reminded us of the Mickey Mouse I did previously. =D So it's decide that the theme is going to be white and pink, with a flowers, hearts, and ribbons and of course, Minnie. :)

The rest, is history. hahah. Not quite.

Shopped at Chinatown for the rhinestones and more stuffs to paste on for deco. And went looking for the most important material; the plastic cover! Harn, told me that an white opaque cover will be much more preferable because of how the phone is black and so if the cover is transparent, which is what I first thought of and used eventually due to circumstances, and if the placing of rhinestones is not well done there will be hole, where one can then see the black of the phone itself. Ugly sight. After some thought, I agreed with him, and we set out looking for the white opaque cover. But there's isn't any store there that sells it. Actually there's one but it's wayyyy too expensive and out of budget for me :( And I'm anxious to get the project started and completed overnight. So, I settled with my initial plan, and used a transparent one.

Recently, within two months I've been asked to provide nail service or to work for some nail salon. So it tempted me to rethink about provide home-based nail services. But lotsa reasons stopped me. And my mum highly protest against it. LOL. ooh well. Just another passing thought it might be..
