Grandpa Earl turned 74

For his birthday we gave him:

 a new clock with the DAY, MONTH, DATE, AND TIME on it.  

(Alzheimers is the pits)

his favorite snacks/junk food

and then my brother Josh came up with this awesome idea.

My dad LOVES the Utah Jazz.  He will rearrange his schedule to be sure he can watch the jazz games. 

Matt Eaton used to play for the Utah Jazz.  He also owns a restaurant that requires a liquor license.  

Josh reached out to Mark Eaton on an app and had his send my dad a birthday message.

It was such a surprise and made the day!!

After pizza, cake, and gifts - we watched..... the Utah Jazz game. 

 

Date Night to Newport

Aaron and I go on a date EVERY THURSDAY.  

We love it and never miss.

I love taking time with just Aaron each week to slow down, reconnect, and chat about the weeks events.  

It's the best day of the week.

But when Aaron is obsessing about a car, Date Night becomes and little overnight trip.

No complaints from me!!

 

Ashley's Master Suite Refresh

Ashley wanted to spice up her Master bedroom. 

Her only request was a gallery wall with prints from her travels with Rob.

Hayden's Car Crash(es)

February 11th 

after dropping Lacie off at her home, Hayden didn't stop fast enough and rear ended a car on 12300 South just west of the freeway entrance.

The girl Audrey Dow was so sweet to him.  Her car was bigger and didn't get as much damage.  I will never forget his call.  He was so scared.

Aaron to the rescue

$5000 later... :(

But then after waiting what felt like forever to get his car back, he finally got it and was back in business... for 3 days...  

While he was at lifting on March 4th someone hit his car in the school parking lot. 

Luckily they left a note (what a good kid).

Back in the shop it went.
