Fun times!

Family Night

Like I said before, my brother Chad & his wife Lori flew in from Pittsburgh.  They were here for a few days.  We really enjoyed hanging out and seeing them.  My other brother, John & his family live in Dallas.  So, John brought his boys down for a couple of days as well.  We had dinner up at my parents house & played games.  I made Stromboli & Chad and Lori grilled chicken wings.  It was fun and so good to all be together!

. . . flew in from Pittsburgh & stayed with my parents.  So, they all came over for dinner Christmas day.
Taylor had brought everyone gifts from Mexico and got Grandpa a miniature sombrero...
Grandpa made Lauren & Carter the coolest boxes...
& he made Taylor a jewelry box that hangs on the wall . . .
It's gorgeous!  Thank you Grandpa!

I made our traditional Christmas dinner & we played games.  Taylor was still feeling pretty rough, which was a bummer but we loved having my family here.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we invited my parents, my brother & his wife, the Groppe family, & my friend Lynne over for a potluck style dinner.  We had enchiladas, fajitas, 7 layer dip, chips & queso, pie, cake, & ice cream.  Even better than the food was the company.  Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.
After everyone left, we let the kids (Taylor was sick and slept through all the festivities) open one present . . .
* Cutest diary ever found at Pinhole Press. . . Taylor got one too!
