Seven Falls

The drive to Seven Falls was so beautiful!  It's so fun to be back in the mountains again.  We had a nice day as a family.  We picnicked and played in a stream after seeing the falls...  that was our favorite part of the day.

trip to mammy's and pappy's house...

We lucked out and found 5 plane tickets for our family to fly to Mammy and Pappy's house for a summer visit for $438.  They were like $80 something a piece...  rountrip / non-stop flights right into Dallas.  We were so excited to get a deal like that!!!  So we booked the tickets and went to see our family.  We were there for 6 days, and just returned a few days ago.  The kids had so much fun they really didn't want to come home...  they would have stayed all summer if we'd let them.  The trip was spent playing alot in water - floaties on the river, fishing, water fighting, jumping on the tramp with the sprinkler, going to the pool, and playing at the beach of Granbury lake.  Dallon and Dawson spent 3 full days of their trip doing the basketball camp at Tarelton University.  Everyone came to watch them each day at the camp when the 5 on 5 games were played...  the boys loved having Mammy and Pappy, Banner and Stetson at their games and it was so nice of them to take off work to be there.  We took the kids to the drive in movie where Mammy made homemade rootbeer and the kids loved it all.  It was so fun to see them and I am so glad we were able to make the trip!
