Easton's first season of T-ball

Easton just finished up his first season of T-ball.  He had fun playing on his team, and he also loved practicing with his brothers.  It was fun & crazy at times having all 3 boys in baseball this spring.

Dawson is having a fun season of baseball.  He is pitching this year for the first time.  He really likes that.  He hit a home run this game!  It was so exciting.

childhood is magical...

first time sledding...

Their first time sledding was so much fun!!!  We went out to the very back of our lot where it slopes off and were able to sled there for hours.  And the boys have been out many times since.  It's been so much fun.  The boys can head out and go sledding anytime they want to and I can be inside cooking, cleaning, etc.  And sometimes I go out and sled with them.  It has been fun to experience playing in the snow with my kids.  And fun to see them enjoy new things that life has to offer here in Colorado!  They love it.

We took the kids skiing / snowboarding for the very first time! Everyone was so excited to get to go do that together as a family. Dallon had been once before, the other two had never been.  It was much harder than Aaron and I expected to help them all learn.  After just two runs on the bunny hill we knew we had to put them into lessons because we realized we were not going to be able to teach them.  I hadn't been in probably 12 years or so.  So, I barely knew what to do and I was scared to try again myself.  Both Dawson and Easton took lessons and Dallon, Aaron and I went on some runs together during that time.  After lessons, Dawson was getting the hang of it.  Easton...  well he still has a long way to go.  Even the bunny hill is too much.  It's really hard teaching a little guy. I know he was really scared at times but he kept trying and never wanted to quit.  I was so proud of him.  We had fun.  We left feeling really exhausted...  and also really glad the first time was over.
