RIP sweet Bella
We lost our dear friend today. She was the best dog a family could ask for. Our hearts are heavy this evening. Lexen is really struggling. This was his prayer tonight, "dear Jesus, please give me a sweet dream about me and Bella playing, amen". She was our first baby and she will be greatly missed.

Big heart. ..
Today a friend came over that was in a great deal of tooth pain. She mentioned that she needed to go to the dentist, but since she only had medicaid they would just pull her tooth.
Jacoby went and got a 20 dollar bill from his Christmas money and tried to give it to her. He came down very sad. I asked him what was wrong and he said that she wouldn't take it. ..that no one likes to accept his kindness. I shared with him about a time when Shan and I didn't have any money and how God used many people to help meet our needs. I also explained that adults don't like talking money from children.
An hour later Jacoby asked me how much it is to go to the dentist for what she would need. I told him that it would be many hundreds of dollars. He looked down at his 20 dollar bill and said he had more be could add, but that he didn't have enough. I reminded him how God used many people to help us and that maybe God was doing the same thing here. ..that he might be just one of the many people God was going to use to help her. He then went up to his brothers asking if they would like to help, they said yes. And of course I helped in his great cause!
He took the money (in mostly coins), put it in a baggie and wrapped it in paper. He said that this way she wouldn't know it was from a kid. He wrote, "Jesus loves you" on one side and on the other "Dentist".
We can all learn something from the heart of this little guy! Even when we have little, we are greatly blessed! We may not be able to save the world, but we can touch the heart of those all around us. Who is God leading you to?
