Time Heals... or Does it?
I heard today that ‘time heals’, and that got me thinking…
is it the time that heals or is it the time it takes for our
hearts to change
and be softened? Then a friend shared this…
“I wonder if it is the imperfect
nature of our memories. Time softens the recollections like sandpaper rubbing
off the rough edges. What's left is softer and not as hard to deal with….”
And another friend offered…
“I think it would be more accurate to say Time - with the
proper care of our hearts (forgiveness, prayer and the like)- heals the wounds.
I am thankful that emotions subside with time. I am thankful that God changes
my perception of things as time passes.”
I just thought I’d share. Maybe this will be a blessing to
your hearts today!

Merry Christmas Eve
We went to the family service at church, then went out for some good ol Thai food, then went back to church for the traditional candle light service - it was beautiful!

Time Out T
I saw this online and thought I'd give it a try. They didn't seem to really mind - I guess it's back to the drawing boards! :) Wish me luck!

8 Weeks - Day by Day Blessing!
All babies are a blessing from above. Since my struggle during my pregnancy/delivery with Lexen and the many miscarriages we’ve gone through, we didn’t think we would ever be able to carry another baby to term. Since God put adoption on our hearts we never needed to worry about not being able to still grow our family.
This little baby came as a BIG surprise, but a good one! Still not knowing if this baby will make it, we take one day at a time, thanking God for giving us one more day. The boys are so excited and have helped me focus on the good part of carrying a baby (and life in general), not worrying about all of the ‘what if’s’. The boys asked if they could call the baby “Sunbeam”, I asked why and they told me because this baby is a sunbeam for Jesus. Sunbeam it is! Love it!
When you think about us, we could defiantly use prayer for our family and this baby!

We love the library!
Too bad we always get so many books our bag breaks. If anyone knows a of good strong book bag, tote, suitcase, trailer, etc. let us know! :)

Not a fun Sunday!
After church today, Jacoby and I got in a car accident. The other driver slid through or didn't stop for the stop sign. Everyone is ok. God is good.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
We have so much to be thankful for! Seems like this year the boys were
most thankful for the FOOD! These guys ate so much they could hardly
walk - I thought it looked painful, but they didn't seem to mind. A HUGE thanks to my mom and Clay who cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal that we could eat - not many are up for a challenge like that!!! Hope
you and your family had a blessed day!

Math Time
He can't write numbers, but that doesn't keep him from doing math! Instead of writing the number he puts the right number of dots in the box.
