Abundantly
Thought we could all use a reminder...
God's way is the abundant way!
There's no rationing in heaven, no skimping from the throne, no shortage of supply from the treasures of His mercies. His life gushes forth from the well of salvation; His spiritual refreshing flows from rivers of living water; His constant and consistent goodness is poured out through downpours of blessings.
He is the God of
abundant mercy Numbers 14:18
abundant kindness Nehemiah 9:17
abundant justice Job 37:23
abundant truth Psalms 86:15
abundant redemption Psalms 130:7
abundant loving kindness Jonah 4:2

abundant satisfaction Psalms 36:8
abundant blessing Psalms 132:15

FUN Leaning!
I found these great little cutters that allow the boys to learn how to cut up their own food. They love being able to do things by themselves!
Time for Monday Bingo - this has helped the boys learn what each coin is and how much each is worth... All in a fun game!
Clean up time. Now they can clean up the floor after each meal. It's funny because they fight over who is going to clean up. Many parents I know just get in the pattern of doing everything for their children, but i think we are robing them of essential life tools (in many areas) when we do that - PLUS they love helping and taking care of each other. Never too early to give!
Our family was enjoying Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO when someone caught the interest of our 2 year old Lexen. Earlier in the night Lexen was given a blue, paper $1 bill from one of the street performers. As we were walking, he saw this young guy singing and playing the guitar - Lexen froze in place to intently listen. After about 5 minutes Lexen started digging in his pocket to give his $1 to the man. His generous heart and kind spirit brought tears to the eyes of everyone watching.
Remember that your children/grandchildren are watching what you do... show kindness, generosity, love and they will do the same.
