More Christmas!

Christmas with Grandma Jen and the family! When you have lots of family Christmas keeps going, and going, and going... :) We are blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.

On the 26^th we headed over to Grandma’s for a do-it-yourself scrambled egg breakfast. It was delicious and the boys had a blast making their own dishes! We just might have to do this every year!

Christmas Morning

As a family we have decided not do the “Santa” thing with our children. We told them the stories of Saint Nichols and what kind, generous man he was and he loved Jesus. Shan and I would like to keep the focus of the holiday season on the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of Jesus!

2012 Advent

 

Each day this month we opened up a new envelope that had a name of God. Then we did a song and some kind of craft that went along with the name, ei: for Lamb of God - we made a lamb with cotton balls, Light of the World - we put candles out, for King - we made crowns... it's awesome because the boys remember many of the names!
