First Smile!

Although gas bubbles have resulted in a few subtle grins, this was the first time Max smiled at me on purpose! I was so excited, and having so much fun interacting with him, that I didn't get any other pictures. Oh well, this one is good enough. I love my little guy so much, and it just keeps getting more and more fun as he grows.

Granny & Poppy

Sam's parents have been so helpful since Max was born. I guess the next best thing to a mother, is a mother-in-law. She's been so kind to drop off meals, diapers, and anything else that we have needed whenever she is in the area. Thanks Jackie! We love you!

Better Short Than Never

We got lucky to get another quick visit from my parents! I cherish these times they get to see Max, even if only a short time. Hopefully they won't always live so far. Yes, those are tears in my eye's. Saying goodbye to my mom never gets easier.

Great Grandparents

I can tell that Max is going to love his great Grandma and Grandpa Clark as much as I do!

Funny Faces

These are just a few of the hilarious faces he pulls. He's already following in his dad's footsteps, on his way to being the class clown.

#1 Daddy

Max is extremely lucky to have a dad that cares so much about him. I am also lucky to have a great husband who loves to help! (He actually changes most of the diapers when he's home)

Little Buddies

We can only hope that Max and Owen get along as well as Natalie and I do, making them close friends. Natalie and I were pregnant together, with due dates just a few days apart.

Goodbye!

It's always hard to say goodbye, but for some reason it seems harder to say it to a baby. After spending some time in Utah for the holidays, my family has to go back to Colorado. We are so thankful that they came out, and will miss them until next time!
