mm..shall blog abt my taiwan 4d3n trip..this post might be quite lengthy.dunno what i blogging too. heh!

18/8 - it was raining the whole morning.. n news reported tt some flights flying to taiwan will be cancelled due to typhoon.. so i din put much hope into it..he came n fetch me in the cab n we went to airport.. thx god the flight wasnt cancelled.we were on china airlines.. its quite unsteady..lotsa currents too! the travelling time to taiwan was 4hrs. he managed to get to noe this kaoshiung guy who sat besides us..

arrived at taiwan safely ard 7+pm..it was drizzling dere..our coach came to pick us n the rest to hotel.. get to know dose ppl on the coach too..reached Kilin Hotel .. n due to the typhoon.. some of their rms were flooded. thus dey gave us taxi fares to stay at Paradise Hotel for 1 night.. yesh.. we r angry la. luckily Paradise was the one i wanna bk initially but it was fully booked.. our rm in Paradise was quite small..toilet abit suxs too..

put down our stuffs n rushed to Xi Men Ding.. its so near our hotel ..but by the time we reached dere it was quite late already.. most of the shops were closed..saw this cute candy shop n i bot some candies .. the candies r so kawaii.. dey r in the form of syringes.. fries..dimsum.. toilet bowls.. etc etc ones..

we were v hungry so we were looking for restaurant to eat.. saw this restaurant tt displayed steamboats outside n dey were having half price too.. went in n REALISED it was a pub la! evy1 drinking beers..playing poker smoking.. damnit la.. n the worst thing is steamboats is only available on certain days! *faints* so we ordered nuggets n drinks.. nuggets taste different.. its abit spicier..quite nice..after our dinner we walked back to our hotel. he complained hungry so we went to this mini mart n bot maggies back.. their maggies haf meats inside !!

19/8 - woke up early ard 5+am to get ready for our buffet breakfast .. so damn nan chi.. dere were only fries..salads.. breads..bacons.hams.porridge.. porridge was damn watery n the fries were soggy too! eeiiyeer..

ard 745 we meetup our tour guide to start off the tour for the day.. we were on a double deck bus to start our supposedly half day tour.. but some how it becomes 1day.. n he was quite pissed over the management.. but anyways we prefer 1day tour.. me n him were the youngest in the tour gp la! so hard to mix ard sia!

well. our 1st destination is to Zhong Zheng Zhi Da.. well.. quite empty dere..

at 9am sharp we hafta be Zhong Lie Tang to watch the guards change duty! hot day! even the guards pespired until their uniforms wet! thx god i brought along my portable fan! museum nxt!! okiee.. me n him super not interested la!!! we get to haf free time..so both of us were basically walking ard the museum but not looking at any of the stuffs dere! coz its mainly chinese treasures!

lunch time! went to tie mu zhen for steamboat buffet ~~

the tour guide brought us to this shop tt sells pineapple tarts ..breads .. this shop named "Wei Ge" is the real one tt sells zheng zhong pineapple tarts.. n dey haf deliveries to hotel la! okie.after lunch..its time where tour guides get to earn commission!

we went to mao princess n dey intro their lingzhi n honey.. i assume their lingzhi is quite gd coz it can ctrl cancer?! but fucking ex la! ard 2k!!!! so he actually hope to buy their honey for his mum.. but ex too la..few hundreds..hahaha.. give up..

went to this shop n learn how to touch the ji xiang lion thingy named "Pi Qiu" .. den it was a short while of cantonese lecture which me n him dun understand at all.. followed by fortune telling for individual gps n persuaded us to buy! so ex la! if dey lower their price i wud buy! .... dey say my name is not gd.. coz lack of some stuffs which may be family.relationships..finances or blah blah... -_-'''

nxt up is a long way to jiufen ! its a traditional street selling taiwan snacks n souvenirs.. we hafta change to public bus in order to get dere.. n when we reach dere it was drizzling.. outta 365 days ard 171days will rain.. i quite lk this place eventho theres many ups n downs slopes! bot lotsa muahchees dere too.. the food dere r quite nice.. such as potato chips in a spiral way..icecreams in popiahs .. taro balls.. actually wanna try some of their food dere la.. but the ones i wanted r long qs.. n we kp going further up until deres not much time left.. =(

finally.. its the long awaited Beitou Hot Spring.. own private rms.. the water had some burning smells due to some lands nearby caught fire i think.. quite disappointed coz it looks dirty dere.. managed to peek into the public female area. ooopss.. evy1 naked .. not even wif their towels lk tv shows liddat !

last destination is to shihlin.. not evy1 getting down at shihlin.. some went back hotels.. so we left our stuffs we bot in the coach n the tour guide will help us send back to hotel! gdd service.. shih lin.. arrr!!! excited la.. food n food n food .. we tried this Da Chang Bao Xiao Chang n one grilled chicken stick(ordered wrongly. this one came wif bitter veggies) taste not bad except for the chicken stick la.. arghz.shld haf ordered another.. anyways we managed to queue for JIPAI !!! as what evy1 says.. its really damn BIG la!!! tasteee superrbb!!! i love it!!!

shihlin centre is split to half .. one side is food n the other is arcade..crossing the road will reach the night market..damn crowded! shopped till 11+ n we were v tired so took cab back to hotel! theres finally rms for us la. so carried our luggages to our rms. its not as bad as what i tot. in fact the rm..tv..bathrm r bigger than Paradise Hotel..

20/8 - after having our buffet breakfast.. we went to lobby to meet up 2 of the ppl we get to know frm tour gp.. as we stayed in the same hotel. we planned to share cab to wufenpu. end up we changed idea to tk train coz dey noe how to walk to the mrt stn.. it was quite a longway from our hotel to mrt at XMD..

their mrt is cool la.. for single trip..tap the coin.. den when exiting throw the coin inside a hole..

reached houshanpi n we walked to wufenpu.. wufenpu is just lk bugis st but its of coz MUCH BIGGER! we split up wif the 2 n walked our own.. was too early so most of the shops werent opened yet.. their shop names r damn funny la.. deres 1 named " Ta Nai Nai De Xiong" .. what a name! eventho deres many many shops selling lotsa clothes. but guess wat .. i din buy a single stuff from dere! prolly i dun lk their clothes ba..or maybe coz motorbikes can get to ride thru the walking paths n i hafta watchout evytime?! he did get some stuffs from wufenpu tho!

ard 2+ we took train to taipei main stn.. gotta took shuttle bus to taipei 101 .waited quite long! taipei 101 is super tall la. dun dare to look up..hahaha.lotsa branded stuffs deere.. almost lk sg paragon.. deres a garden inside this building la! a agarden inside a building.coOOL ~~!

had our lunch at mac.. oopps.. super hungry. n the first food we saw is mac! after lunch.. as we still haf much $$ left.. we decided to buy tixs to get up to the top floor. was quite excited abt it.. n i tot prolly in the lift i can look out.. but damnit.its enclosed n it lasted just for lk 30secs only!!! faintz.. we stopped at 89th floor its a paranomic view .. get to carry this device tt we can listened to the explanations of different parts of taipei..

took cab to XMD.. shop as much as we can.. went to the candy shop again to buy more stuffs..really love the place la! i bot damn lots tt the person behind me his eyes were wide open!i found tt legs easily get tired when in taipei.. so we rest awhile in kfc.. but he eat only la.i din eat.. the kfc has 4 levels la! 2nd level is the food counter lor! he was asking me how to read popcorn chicken in chinese la.lol! after our rest. we shopped a lil more in XMD den took cab to hotel.. coz we were too early for shihlin.. ard 9pm we took cab again to shihlin.. this time shopped as much we cud.. we even explore further parts of shihlin.. i spotted Naraya there la! returned to hotel took cab again.. inoe .. we took many cabs. haha.. coz basically we left too much $$..!

22/8 - woke up v early to catch our flight back to sg.. superrr tired.. think i snored in the plane.. haha .. managed to watch "Seducing Mr. Perfect" korean movie on the plane!~~


overall. i enjoyed my taiwan trip. truely an experience la.. deres so many eye candies dere no matter guys or ladies.. taiwan ppl oso love to kp pets esp dogs.. many cute dogs tt i so tempted to kp one!their dogs r more tame too!

some places i dint haf time to go .. dey r yeliu..danshui..miramar ferris wheel..raohe night market. i hope the nxttime rd if i get to go taipei i will make sure i add these places in my itinerary..
