| Here's Micah shivering next to Thomas. It was much cooler at the station than at our house. I happened to have a sweater in the van for Hannah; Micah was not so lucky. |
| Micah and Johnny |
Besides the actual ride on the train (which was kind of anticlimactic), there were plenty of activities for the kids to do. There were inflatables...
...at least half a dozen train tables...
...model trains..
...tattoos, coloring, videos, a magic show, music, and more! If I were going to do it again, I would plan to stay all day. We were there for over three hours, but Micah would have been happy to stay for three more. I was really proud of how cooperative Micah was. He was well-behaved, even with his excitement. And when it was time to go he was disappointed, but obedient. Hannah was also a super-trooper. It was not her choice to be confined to car seat, stroller, and carrier all morning, but she did not make a fuss - even without her morning nap! It was a great day and a fun start to our Memorial Day weekend. :)
