The day after Valentine's day

I realised... working on a public holiday which falls a day after Valentine's day makes me moody.

Even working on V-day with no celebration to look forward to after work, plus, no bf (nor friends) for company at night doesn't even seem so bad. Seriously.

I'm just weird. haha.

Guess I should just stick to books for company and cheering up. Recently i've been reading a Corduroy Mansions by Alexander McCall Smith - and his captivating episodic writing (à la Dickens) has ignited an old hobby which has sort of diminished after the Harry Potter craze. haha. Still can't believe though, that I actually picked up such a great book randomly. And for just RM16, I'm absolutely savouring each page! So, thanks to Corduroy Mansions and its occupants, I'm falling in love with books (British authors and their humour) once again. Yay! =D

Little fact about the book:
Corduroy Mansions originated from an online novel by the author who brought you the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency as well. Besides winning awards, there's actually a 2nd and 3rd installment online  proof of just how good it is  that you can read or even (if you're too busy and/or lazy) listen to it here! =)
