It's been 20 days since i've been in JB, and these few days have been the most exciting climax of my entire 21 days of holidays.
Why? why?? why???
1st Dec - I FINALLY met my friends!!!
I managed to gather all my frens from all over Malaysia n Singapore who were back in JB to meet up before i leave. They were Ming Eng, Rojak, CK, Hweeli, Sin Yee, Michelle, Chia Sin and Jinli plus a junior, Christine! Alas, blur blur Banana Sabrina didn't get the message. Hence, she did not turn up! Ish..ish.. "SAB!!! If you're ever read this, you still owe me my 2006 present! And now you owe me a meal!!! When can i see you again??!!" *sobs*
Gosh.. i can't help wondering why every time we meet up, we'll be the craziest and noisiest bunch of gals around. If you've been dining in Kim Gary's on 1 Dec 2007 2-4pm, i apologize on my frens' behalf for the din we've created. It was on purpose. hahaha.. I'm sorry your meal was spoiled by a group of conspicuous gals who were making so much noise and distraction by snapping cameras away every 5 mins. hehe.. That's us, the Convent gals of 5 Sc 1, 2003. =)
We couldn't stop chatting and interrogating everyone for news. And poor CK, kept having butter fingers with the glasses. First the Cham Peng, then the Milo. Wat's wrong sis? Furthermore, she got embarrassed rite in front of the waiter. All thanks to Rojak the Joker. Ming eng kept pushing CK's dessert that CK was still eating for the waiter to clear and then out of nowhere, Rojak said to the waiter, "Please clear this *points toward CK* away too." We all stopped to look at CK, suddenly the waiter replied "I'm sorry, we don't have a plastic bag big enough." LOL! Poor CK... She was shot many times by Rojak and M.E that day. I guess it wasn't your day huh? hehe.. =)

3rd Dec - i went in to Singapore!!!!
Finally after 5 mths, I get to go meet my frens, shopping and eye washing in my fave City! (yes, i'm pro-Sg =P) hahaha...
It was a long story actually. I went to JB immigration at 11am, reached Sg Customs at 12pm, left the customs at 1pm!!! The bloody amount of ppl dying to enter Sg is seriously that much, but only 3 pitiful counters were opened. Sighs.. I guess it was lunch time, and i miscalculated the time. I was late, yet I was ordered by mum to do an errand for her - buy 2 big packs of Dried Mushrooms. Apparently the mushrooms in Sg is nicer and cheaper. -.-" So instead of going straight to NUS to meet Norven and Ming Eng, i had to make a detour at Woodlands, to get those mushrooms. Adui..
I walked so fast, run so much, even got blisters on my leg (cos i washed my only pair of socks the night before. stupid)... But i still ended up being the last one to reach the place. Ming Eng was already waiting at the bus stop. I tried following Norven's directions to the bus stop across the Central Library, but somehow i got down a stop too early. So had to walk towards the correct one with the big red plastic bag of mushrooms - with many NUS students walking around noticing the obvious big bag. I felt like a kampung girl who just arrived in a city! Soooo embarrassing!!! Wanted to walk faster towards the bus stop, but couldn't cos my feet were hurting. Then when i finally saw the Central Library, i was so happy, till i turn to look at the bus stop across it.. There were tonnes of ppl waiting for a bus! And i think all were looking at me with tht mushrooms!!! Ahhhh!!!! Wanted to wear a paper bag over my head le. lol...
Walked further up, then i saw Ming Eng!! So happy.. hurried over.. but Ming Eng was already pissed off le... Sorry ya.. I know i'm always late for appointments, my bad. Norven even told me tht Ming Eng wanted to go off to the MRT station rite there n then! Horror!! Thoughts of me carrying the packs of mushrooms across Sg is totally unthinkable! Luckily, the forever kind ming eng relented and agreed to go back to Norven's hostel. hehehe... Love you babes!!!
We ate in NUS's canteen, the canteen there were so so much better than USM's. Don't even mention the hostels and shuttle service k. Omg.. Really regretted i didn't make it into a Sg uni la.. I wonder how my life would've turned out if were studying there.
Day 1
1st stop: Bugis Street
Went shopping in the famous Bugis Street. It was kinda like a super packed market with lots of 'cheap stuff'. (if you keep bluffing yourself tht RM1 = S$1) It was actually considered ok la, lots of clothes on sale were not to be tested.. so din manage to buy anything there.
2nd stop: Bugis Junction
A shopping mall with lots of branded clothes and lots of nice stuffs actually. But then again, the conversion of currency always make me think twice about buying anything! haha.. But i was happy when i managed to persuade Ming Eng to buy a super big Tigger!! It's soooo cute!!! haha.. Too bad no pics to show here. We were dying for Carls Jr Burgers tht nite. But sadly Bugis Junction didn't have one, and the nearest one was at Shaw Towers and Suntec, which was far for our tired legs to walk. So we ended up having MOS Burger.

3rd stop: NUS - Prince George's Park
The first time i stepped into her room.. Wah.. so nice.. Wasn't tht small, just nice for one person. But the security there i tell u... tighter and more high-tech than our PM's office! hahaha... ME n I got hungry in the middle of the nite, so Norven took us to look for a vending machine, cos her room does not even have a pack of maggi mee nor Milo, only oatmeal! Norven.. really respect u! Well, Nor was very tired tht nite, so when she slept, ME n I were still very awake, and didn't feel like sleeping. We went to get water, but ended up exploring the hostel ourselves instead. hehehe.. As we wandered around, we found ourselves heading to the playground, we sat on the swing like kids again, n broke the rule by making lots of noise. haha.. We chatted till 6.30am staring at sky for shooting stars! lol.. And we saw one indeed! It was amazing.. We should do tht again in NTU k ME? hehe.. =) Oh, at one point, we wanted to know wat time it was, but we couldn't find a single clock anywhere! We searched the meeting rooms, TV rooms, security alarm switch board, parking booth, public phone, EVERYWHERE.. only to finally find one tiny clock on a electronic door lock security system. haha.. we were tht desperate. Furthermore, on our way back to the room, we almost spoiled the high tech door and got ourselves locked out. The door was too high tech for us both. hahaha..
Day 2
I was so sleepy, i din even realise when ME left to go NTU d. Think Norven tried waking me up many times, but i fell rite back to sleep. (don't u laugh!) hehe.. At last, i woke up when Norven told me it was afternoon d! haha.. Sorry norven.. your bed was too comfy! hee.. =P We started the day with Norven showing me the NUS grounds...

2nd stop: Marina Square
I finally bought a Giordano shirt there and Norven bought her Harry Potter book!! Was suppose to meet up with Siew Hoon later at Vivo, but we decided Marina had more things to eat, so we asked Yu Hooi to come over. It was really a pity, Siew Hoon couldn't make it.. So it was just the three of us. It was like the good ol' days again.. just the 3 of us. I was definitely a fruitful day... Oh, when we were there, there was a Barney show! It reminded me of someone. hee.. =P

And so my trip to Sg ended. Went back to the hostel, grab my mushrooms, and went back to JB alone.. sighs.. Time flies so fast when you're having fun... I'm missing you guys again!!!! I really hope to meet u guys during Lunar New Year!
6th Dec - Home and bored
Had many plans to do the past days.. but the stupid weather had to ruined it all. It rained for 2 whole days!!! Marge n I couldn't go swimming, and we couldn't shop ard in JB as we had planned! But no worries, we'll be going into Sg again tmr!!! Yippee!!!! More money spending, and leg aches. haha.. =) And thanks to Ming Eng, i had a fun evening today accompanying her to the salon.
Well, tmr will be my last day in JB!!!!!! Omg.. I'm sooo depressed.. Why does it have to end so fast??? I still hate USM for cheating me of my holidays. They keep stealing my hols!!! I don't like USM! Sighs..
I'll miss all of you badly!!! Take care guys.. To all those whom i didn't get a chance to meet, I hope to meet you guys soon!!!!
On a brighter note, I'll be seeing Vince!! heehee.. Can't wait to see you sayang! Just bear for another day ya? *winks* =)
