Farmers Market Sunday

Blackberries! Yum!

For a few weeks, I have been talking about buying "tickets". When Mama asks me what the tickets are for, I tell her for the horsey. I think she finally got the hint that I needed a horse ride, badly.

Most people go to Old Navy to buy clothes, I go to give hugs (and receive them).

We went to Third Street after the Farmers Market and found a GREAT musician. Watch the video below and you will hear her voice. For $5, Daddy bought me her CD!

Holiday Weekend Fun...

We started the holiday weekend going to my first movie! Princess and the Frog! I was so excited. I told everyone who looked at me that I was going. Mama gave me the choice of ice cream or popcorn and I chose....ice cream. When the movie came on, I was enjoying it....until there were some scary parts. I wanted the princess or the frog to come back. We made it through about half of the movie and then I insisted that we go home. We still had fun!
On Christmas morning, Daddy made ginger scones and I helped! Do you see how much help I am giving in this picture?

In the afternoon, we went to the beach with Zoe and her Mommy and Daddy.

I climbed Sand Mountain
...and threw some sand around

Dress up and Dancing, Dancing, Dancing the night away

Last night, Zoe and I tackled my dress up box...I insisted on wearing the pink skirt as a dress....I put it up over my chest and added a tutu. Mommy thought I looked like I was going to a toga party.

Then, I added my boots to my outfit and we started dancing to Bruce Springsteen and the Gipsy Kings (Hotel California).

Even the daddies got into it!

Grandpa's Birthday and Gymnastics Saturday!

Today is Grandpa's Birthday! He just turned 40! Or, I think that's what Mommy said. I know it was a lot older than me.

Another fun gymnastics Saturday.

School! We had a tea party, but I was so busy playing, I have no pictures of the "tea" part.

Venice Canal Boat Parade

Saya and me...

a little snow

Venice Boat Parade..."I am happy"

Yesterday, we went to the always fun Venice Canals Boat Parade. It was much smaller than usual, likely because it had rained for 3 days before and there was probably an assumption by entrants that it would rain again on Sunday. Or maybe there was just not enough time to decorate the boat? Anyway, Mama is en route to NYC for a few days for business and she didn't have time to upload the photos from the parade, so they will come later this week.

From Mama.....Sweet Gigi made me melt last night....we were in bed and she looked at me and said "Mama, I am so happy". Aaaahhhh. Isn't it every parent's dream that their child be happy? I think it is so cool that she really understands what that means. Gigi, I am happy, too. You are the best!

Happy Hanukkah!

Yesterday was the first night of Hanukkah, the festival of lights that lasts 8 nights. Well, I cheated a little and opened my Hanukkah present from Mema and Pepa yesterday morning! They gave me a very cool book with 4 of Jamie Lee Curtis' books and a nice outfit. Mama and I read all 4 stories this morning in bed.

Then, when I came home, Mama told me to go into the bathroom and I would find a present from Grandma and Grandpa...an Elmo bike! Here I am with Richard. I am still a little short to use it myself. It is a balance bike without pedals so my feet need to be able to touch the ground. Soon....soon.

Holiday Celebration at M&m's House

Late this afternoon, we went to Meazi and Melese's for a very fun holiday celebration. Everyone brought cookies and Julie made some yummy mac and cheese and other delicacies. Aren't these amazing? No, they are not burgers, they are burger cookies!
Isn't LT's outfit gorgeous? Her Mommy wore it when she was a little girl.

Here's Meazi ane Melese!

And, at the end of the evening, Meazi borrowed Mama's camera and took these pictures! Pretty talented, wouldn't you say?
