Since I last blogged...

  • The grass has turned green again and SPRING IS HERE!

  • AJ now has the same size foot as mine. He has also started playing flag football. Despite his begging request for it to be TACKLE football!

  • Gasoline has gone up about 20 bucks (at least it feels that way)!

  • My google reader has over 100 posts in it!

  • It turned a year since I said goodbye to my dad. *Sigh*

  • My baby turned t-t-t-t-welve!

  • I had a mole removed. It was sad too. One on my arm that got bigger each time I had my boys. It was my "baby" mole. But obviously it was important to have a biopsy done and thankfully it was benign. Now I'm lying around acting like a BIG BABY wanting sympathy for my "surgery". Yeah, that doesn't cut it around here for extra attention.

  • We took a much needed family trip to San Antonio

  • I lost my first pet in my job. Sweet "Stanley"...sigh. The bad part of this job I love. Saying goodbye, especially when it's way too soon! He got hurt and his back was paralyzed. So he had to be put down. I cried a good river on that day.

  • We received another nice letter in the mail from our County Traffic Court. Someone needs to stand at the intersection by our house holding a sign for my precious husband "Don't run the red light honey...it's just not worth it!"

  • My MIL came for a visit and my kitchen misses that precious lady already!

  • I have given up sugar and lost 12 pounds since Valentine's Day!

  • I have discovered "Sugar Free" Brownie mix and am on my way of gaining a lot of that back if I don't stop popping the "brownie bites" into my mouth! I froze them but that doesn't stop me.

  • We've had yet another stupid vermin crawl up in our attic and D.I.E. You read that right. 2 experiences with dead rotting animal filtrating into my home. It has been taken care of once and for all thanks to some lovely gentlemen from a local company. No more open entrances that give an invitation for residency to small furry critters!

  • I've come thru some incredible changes in my marriage. Which is one reason why I haven't been blogging. I've always heard of the 7 year itch. Well our's was more like the 14 year itch. And I'm so very humbled by God's mercy and grace. I can be such a selfish, prideful brat. Without going in to details, I'll just say that life is drastically different and for that I am very, very grateful!

So, what have you been up to lately?
