month of october passed. thinking of it, God blessed me with many surprises. the one on first october was one of them. next was seeing a monkey in my neighbourhood one sunday night when i was on my way home. next was a bus ride which travelled pass my friend's house and i dont even know my friend stay there...and i've forgotten some. in the midst of preparing for Os, got surprised my these random pop-up surprises, i started go wow-ed and felt less stressed though i'm anti-animal. it made me realise that Os will end within weeks and i must hang on there no matter what. life is full of surprises!
november will soon end with all those hanging out and happy hours. december's events aren't completely plan yet. if you want to be on my list, you should know what to do. i'm going to ensure i'll make full use of this break and end this year well.

running a marathon when i realised it wasn't easy half way through
facing problems which are like boulders, obstructing my way
when i fall,
1. there's always a new beginning
2. there's always someone there for me, guiding and supporting me
3. there's always new methods and solutions to handling matters
this make life more interesting; coming out of those valleys learning something new. God didn't promise us to have life like a bed of roses!

32mins and 3sec before children's day was about to end, i was added into someone's msn. i didnt know who was it until i found out; it was a friend who came to Singapore to study 4 years ago. we chatted for about 1.5 hours and i got to go. remembering the past (which i almost forgotten cleanly), we couldnt believe what we did! we shared our lives the past and present. we were quite a good friend to each other. =)
i think this is something God has blessed this child of God on this children's day to be a memorable and a unique one; to be able to contact me when i gave up! :)

saying that a person who has good leadership skills and knows how to get along well with people is really of no use if you dont do it. you would rather continue staying in your comfort zone, seeing the old picture and learn nothing. you will get bored of it. start learning from the person or else there will not be any changes and you'll have lesser friends. likewise for food, eating the exactly the same food for 3 meals and 3 days or eating at the same place every week. you'll get tired of it. the next time you go back to the same place, you also dont know what to eat. change your taste! i'm sure singapore has many good food...but have you tried all of them yet? :) so step out of the same old place and move to other places to have a good meal :) a place which i just went was someone's workplace for dinner. the food tastes delicious and it costs less. a good food need not be too expensive.

the week of both discouraged and encouraged. did badly for certain prelim papers but...performed pretty well for some subjects which was unexpected! thank God for all the good results. yeah a little upset that i kept failing the same subject umpteen times when Os is like 4 weeks later... :( 30sep looking forward to the last day of school! but that's not holidays...it's study break to self-study anywhere around SG... haha

What are some of the prerequisites? Willingness to learn from everyone. Mentors are to guide and develop us. Good people with skills, to work through people, respect them and motivate them so as to get things done. Resilience to stress and determination in adversity, for the road to success is a stony one. Triumph over life’s imperfections and readiness to put failure behind us. Passion and persistence in the suit of our goals. Courage to venture out of our comfort zone, take risks and seize opportunities. Recognise that luck plays a part, too, although we seem to get luckier by working harder!

didnt blog for a month where lazyness stops me from doing so ahahahs.
first thing after national day was the start of mock exams. did pretty badly. can say that i'm at least 10 from the bottom in class :(
4 tests before prelims...yeah nothing unusual. which teacher does not give tests?
25/8 was O level EL oral exam...pretty easy :)
28/8 that marked the last day of lesson for this year if there's no extra lesson after prelims :(
31/8 went back to primary school. upgrading soon. some teahcers whom had taught me are still there. a teacher would ask me the same and first question every year, and the logic of looking further...got used to it already. other teachers would want to know how am i doing and this is where lots of encouragements come in.
2/9-4/9 PRELIMS! thought that EL compo wrote out of point. do not complete CL and SS papers on time. totally disastrous.
since monday till now...HOLIDAYS! like the subject i used in my recent email, hols isnt meant to enjoy. most of the time is about studying and get prepared for exams thrown after that.
just a quote from Winston Churchill, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts".
