Martinsburg friends

When Dave and I lived back East, we met some amazing people. We also had the opportunity to work with the youth of our ward...I know shocker! I had a Laurel ,Wrayla, that was about to graduate...I was about 21 and she was 18...so we were really friends. She graduated high school and got married and moved to Idaho! We haven't seen her for about 8 years! Her son was getting baptized and she invited us to go! I was so excited to see her and her sweet family. It was very special to be able to reconnect!
Shannon and Wrayla
Caden and his Dad Travis

5th Grade Graduation

Here is the deal.... I remember MY 5th grade graduation sooooo well!!! And here is MY son graduating from 5th grade and going into 6th grade!!! What!?!?!?! That is crazy!! He is just growing way too fast! I asked him to slow down a bit and he laughed at me....the nerve! I am so proud of him! He is such a sweet and caring boy. He tries so hard in school and activities to do his best. Dylan is always striving to do what is right. I couldn't be more proud of him!! Love you Dylan!!

Pinewood Derby

We...well I...was a little worried since our awesome woodworker Uncle Robbie did not move to Idaho with us! But I am proud to say that Dave and Dylan did a GREAT job on his 2010 Pinewood derby car!! They had a blast making it together! Dylan's car wasn't the grand winner, but he did win a few races. He had a blast and is already planning his next car.

They do it high teach in Idaho...I was a bit surprised to see the set up...

The competition

The race....

Dylan was creative and made a high tech car...he was able to destroy a hard drive and take the pieces out of it...lots of fun!

Jump Creek

What an amazing hike!! The Elders Quorum planned a fmaily hike up to Jump Creek. Good thing we didnt venture out ourselves...we would have never found it!! (: It was a pretty easy hike...the kids were able to do it with us! It was so beautiful! It turned out to be a beautiful day...and lots of fun!
