work has started for a week now and the first week was well,

NO FUN.

it is just bad when u have no friends at work =no fun
when NOBODY toks to u on ur first day except to give instructions =no fun
DUN EVEN SMILE at u = no fun.

but well, my sort of mentor came back from Japan on fri and it became a little better coz i've met him before n he's more fun..

thurs was okay too i got to GO OUT of office n network abit bit..basically just stand there n smile while they toktoktok to clients.

not complaining coz tt just makes my day go faster :)

i try to look forward to certain things to make my days more bearable:
1) tennis trg/playing
2) lunch with frens! (thanks joycie,nic :))
3) bootyloot biz (yes i'm permanently on gmail haha can CHAT)
4) gg out after work
5) my nice RNB i just downloaded :))
6) dressing up haha

n of coz my doggy who just got a hair cut and looks like a persian cat w teddy bear coat now hehe

in any case, it aint all tt bad since i really get to/have to learn almost everything abt Japan tours and i get to practise my japanese a bit bit :)

if only i get to go out network network everyday hehe

well, internship only til 4th jan..i think i'll be okay..tho i think tour agency is not gonna be big on my career choices.

i noe its like a bit late but have started watching J-drama almost everyday!! i try not to let it distract my studies but its honestly damn good for my japanese! gahh!! i realised it too late la boo!

i rem vocab better when i hear it repeatedly used in the dramas...n from songs! haha i think alot of my japanese lang peers have been liddat since they started japanese la im like retarded haha

but well...not too late not too late! 2 modules of japanese left haha i will watch drama and listen to j-pop everyday!! :)

i feel like i've been a lousy person of late..

i have so much to catch up on, i dont noe where to start. and very often, i lack motivation to.

i desperately wan to do an internship in december, desperately need money and desperately need to pull up my cap to attempt honours.

in the process, i would admit i have neglected frens yet again. I feel so bad that i have not spoken to Bryna in ages. I dun ever seem to bump into her on MSN..n the last few times she was the one to call me.

i feel bad that i have a truckload of emails from my Japanese friends to reply. but i am always procastinating.

i am happy that i have improved tennis-wise, but i dun dare to speak too loud abt it because i am afraid to hurt feelings.

i am happy to b playing well but disappointed that they still dont think much abt it which makes me feel i have more to work on n nothing to be happy about.

i am happy to be able to play with u guys again but i worry about snide remarks and unhappiness. i wan to be a part, not apart.

i am happy that my Japanese report was chosen to be shown to the class, but i am extremely worried abt my overall results because everybody seem to be doing really well.

i am pleased that i have been able to participate in tutorial discussions and concentrate in lectures but there is an incessant nagging worry at the back of my head. a failure to catch up on my readings and probably not be able to do well for the finals again.

i was extremely happy that DnD was well done, but there is yet another incessant worry that i did not do a good job at all. that pple have nt been happy let alone impressed by me. i doubt i am capable or well liked enuff.

i am constantly afraid of how the pple ard me see me. not all the pple tho, but pple who matter. at times, i feel loved and content but at the slightest nudge or sign of displeasure, i panic and worry

that they are unhappy about me.

i probably should disregard all these. but they matter to me. it matters.

i sometimes wish they will say it in my face, yet i am afraid to face the music.

am i really that bad?

i seem to be unable to say no.

i wan to feel good about myself, but whenever i start to feel to, something pops out to eat away at me.

so i guess, i need to revamp myself, be nicer, more humble, capable.

yet.even with all these. i may still get vibes of unhappiness.

so wad do i do?

live in a climate of fear and worry?

cant life just be sweets and cotton candy?why do lemon bitter drops have to ascendingly appear when things start to look brighter.

i need sleep. but i cant. yet. i have not done enuff. i will never do enuff. will never be good enuff.

i wan to say, 'hey look at yourself' at these pple, n say what i think you yourself cld have done better, that at some pt of time, you did the same to me but i just did not voice it out because hey, we're human. i can hurt, but i will heal. no pt making u feel bad about it.

but when these words, face, tone, are used on me. all my instinctive reactions scream "IT'S MY OWN FAULT, MY BAD"

Chinoike Jigoku (Bloody hell!)
this Jigoku looks damn scary. looks most hellish of all hells man..waters are red.

Beppu, Oita - Hotspring wonderland!

Beppu's like one of the most famous places in the world for hotsprings! their underground water is also hotspring! so everyhousehold can tap into the ground water and enjoy hotspring baths everyday! and that's why the town's full of chimneys sprouting hot steam..even their drainage covers emit steam from time to time!! :)

There are 7 or 8 "Jigoku"s (meaning hell) in Beppu. they are actually volcanic pools or hotsprings that develop from volcanic activities above and below ground..they're so-called hells coz they are almost all near boiling point (yes, cannot enter. u will be cooked alive). and constantly, sizzlingly, spitting steam . :)

they have interesting colours too! and interesting names due to their diff colours.. we only went to two but they were impressive enuff
but the sulphur smell is super bad, as i found out the stupid way by submerging my face in a billow of steam. n ur towel and hair stinks like rotten eggs after a hotspring bath. and ure NOT supposed to wash up after one just so the minerals can work on ur skin. but woa lao. sibeh smelly!
