Happy Valentines Day!

Maddie LOVED Valentines Day! She had her first lick of a sucker and wouldn't let go. Colton and I brought back our childhood by making a fort in our front room with our bed in it. It was the best Valentines Day ever. I am so grateful for Colton and Maddie! Colton is the sweetest husband in the entire world and he is the best dad. Maddie is so full of joy and so fun to be around. I am a very blessed Mom! Hope you all had a great Valentines Day as well.
 

Growing Up So Fast!

Our little sweetie is over 4 months old now and she is learning to do so many things...the latest is rolling over.    

She loves to touch anything and everything but mostly because as soon as she holds it, it's in her mouth.  

We are loving her sweet noises and laughs.  She has learned to blow bubbles.

 We took some pictures in the leaves the other day for fun and I LOVE them! Maddie wasn't quite sure what to think about the leaves but it made some cute pictures!

All in all we are loving parenthood and all the fun new adventures it brings us! We are so grateful for our sweet Maddie girl and the smiles and laughs she brings us each day!  Our lives have changed for the better because of her and we are so thankful to have her in our family! :)

Month old Pictures

Maddie is getting so big!  She is 6 weeks old now and starting to show her cute personality.  We are loving her smiles and cute baby sounds that she is making.  She still loves night time and 3 a.m. is usually her prime time.  We have been so blessed to have the summer off to play with her.  Colton starts school on the 20th of August and I am done teaching for a while.  I decided that I wanted to stay home with my little sweetie.  We love being parents and love our little Maddie!

   She has TONS of hair!

We are so in love with our little sweetie!  She has been such a perfect addition to our little family.  She is getting bigger each day and we are so grateful to have her here.  She is 3 weeks old now and at her 2 week check up she weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and grew a 1/2 an inch.  Her favorite thing to do is make Donald Duck noises and she LOVES to stay awake at night!  We are loving parenting and learning every day.

  

                    

It's a baby....GIRL!

Well friends a lot has happened since the last post.  We found out that we are going to have a beautiful baby girl!  We are thrilled!!!  Colton was hoping for a girl, which I thought was absolutely adorable.  We are 22 weeks along so far.  Baby Madelynn is going to be born in June. 

I am so proud of Colton!   He got accepted into the University of Utah as well as Nebraska Lincoln.  We are so excited for the future and what it has in store for us!  We are so blessed!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Once again, I have slacked off!  Colton and I hit our 1st anniversary on October 15th.  We can't believe it has already been a year and it's been the greatest year of my life!  I love Colton with all my heart and I still catch myself waking up thinking...I am so blessed to have him in my life!  He is the greatest husband in the world and we are just like little kids.  Haha we love having fun together and playing stupid games together.  


School is going great for me and I am loving every second of it!  I have the most adorable class and I have talked Mr. Griffiths into coming and volunteering with the students.  They love it when he comes and he is so cute with them.  He is working with them on passing off times tables and let me tell you teachers are lucky to get volunteers!  


Colton is doing great in school and getting excited to graduate in May!  We are applying to a ton of grad school programs.  He is going to get his masters in student affairs where he will work at a college and help with student involvement and counseling.  Our top pick for grad school are NAU, and UofU right now.  We'll see in a few months where we are headed.  Colton is also loving his calling in the ward and our singles ward adores him.  It has been a great experience to see how strong those young single adults are!  They are an inspiration to us each and every week.
