Feeling it.

This baby is getting big and dropping on down:) Oh man does it hurt!
By the end of the day I can hardly move...but I'm trying to enjoy it seeing as this may be the last time I am ever pregnant.
(I remember saying that once before)

Good news-- we only have 2 1/2 weeks..Woohoo.
I just got rid of 5 boxes of baby girl clothes. (Mick-some headed your way.)
The laundry is getting under control.
My house is not always a total disaster.
My babies are adorable.

Bad news-- Buddha and his Godzilla thighs broke the crib, it was a drop side I was going to need to replace anyway but now he's in the play pen. Here's hoping he doesn't figure out he can climb out of it.
I still need to get a ton of stuff out and put away before the baby is born.

Kailye's post...

Kk's class has a website to keep parents up to date on things and it has all their assignments etc. on it. Well it also has a blog and a few times a week she lets the kids post a finish to a sentence. Kk did her's this week and it said...

If I were a snow flake..."Everyone would be scared of me!"-Kk

Not quite sure what to think of that:)

Quick one.

Dr. appointment today was uneventful:) 36 weeks, 2+ dilated, 70% effaced. still planning on the 15th for this little guy.

Grandpa is doing better. Thank you so much to all those who have showed support and love to our family. He is getting more frustrated the more congnitive he is, which to me is a great sign. Grandma said today he was actually able to write his name today! Everyone in my family is as stubborn as you can find and we all come by it naturally. I'm sure he's giving it everything he's got to feel like himself again.

Well I'm am currently looking at the eyes of a very sleepy little man so I better get going:)

Grandpa.

My heart is heavy today. My grandpa had a massive stroke this morning and is in ICU. Those of you who know my family know how close we all are so this has been a hard day for all of us. Grandpa is the strongest man I have ever known, spiritual giant does not even come close to describing him...which is saying something because I know a few. We love him and hope he will recover well.
One of my favorite pictures of my niece and my grandparents.

Update!! sorry no syrup-I'm too tired.

Gabriel-
-Does not know how to walk anywhere (ok really none of my children do)
-smacks his over sized melon on everything. I told Michael I think he's always so happy because he always has a concussion so everything seems new and exciting.
-Talks up a storm...he will copy everything Keija says and since she copies everything Kk says we have an echo problem. It's a "problem " I will gladly take:)
-Has to climb everything in sight...he has done this since he was 6 months old and pulled him self to a standing position before he even knew how to crawl. There is nothing I have seen this kid can't figure out how to get up, over, under, around or just bulldoze his way through. His latest endeavor was the side of his sister's bunk-beds, Heaven help us!

Keija-
-is quite the little sweet heart lately...she always was to her dad and I but I'm fairly certain not a single other soul on earth would have labeled her that way. She is very thoughtful and LOVES to be the big sister.
-She has decided their should be 2 babies in mom's belly...she can't make up her mind on the names she likes so she just says there are two:)
-She a defiant little punk...most days she is very well behaved at home and does most of what I ask her to do or not do, but if catch her on a day she doesn't it will be the entire day from wake up to knock out of not listening AT ALL.
-She LOVES her big sissy.

Kailye-
-After missing a full week and a half of school split between before and after Christmas break she spent a LOT of time playing catch up at school. The homework and schedule at her school demand it, but she did it all in the week she was back to school and is doing great.
-She is loving playing the piano now that she has figured out she can play anything she wants now that she knows all the right notes:)
-She is (most of the time) the best big sister and momma's helper around!...I was having a hard time keeping my cool today-not something that happens often for me-and the babies were climbing all over my bed while I was trying to go through bills, when kk stopped her homework and came and took them out into the family room to watch a movie. A few moinutes later she came in and said "are you good now?" She's an angel.

Me-
-I'm the size of a house and grateful not to have to be on bed rest anymore!

Michael-
-Back at school this semester and has 5 online Psychology classes...he decided since the baby is due part way through the semester and you never know how things will go with that he better make himself accessible, which has already proven to be a blessing. We also have to figure out how to make some money during all this seeing as we haven't had income since July.
-He made the Utah Warriors Rugby team which is a pro team that just started here. We were worried about the schedule but practices ended up being at 11 at night so he doesn't miss anytime with his kids and still has time to work and do homework. Hopefully they will be playing at Rio Tinto this spring. Good news-we don't have to pay for a thing, the team is owned:)

We still haven't come up with a name for our new little man yet. We were leaning toward Luca or Raphael but now neither seems to fit. We do like Titan and Kingston though...who knows?...boys names are the worst!

Belly picture...

So there it is. This really doesn't do this giant any justice but I had a two year old take the picture:) 4 weeks to go.

No more bed rest.

So I went in this morning and although all the same problems are still there this Dr. said I don't have to stay down anymore. Which is great because Michael has school and needs to find ways to make money and my family should not have to watch my children for the next 4 weeks. Woohoo!!

Good/scary news...only 4 more weeks. I have so much to do:)

bed rest is lame!

Don't get me wrong...that first day was great. I got much needed sleep and didn't have to stress about anything but from then on out it really is not great.

I keep getting yelled at by my husband for getting up and doing things. I can't help it...it's in the blood! I can't lay around while everyone else is up. But I'm pretty sure the Dr. did not want me cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry and picking up after my kids.

Fine I'll go back to my bed!

Bed rest :(

I have been having some pretty severe back pain the past few days so I went into the Dr. today. he is worried the pain my put me in labor and he's also worried I may cause some permanent nerve damage if I don't lay off. So bed rest it is...for the next week at least. If I am not dilated next Tuesday at my appointment then I won't have to stay down anymore. Praying for that!!

So I spent the morning arranging when and who would be able to take the two crazies for the next week while Michael is working and going to school. I am so grateful we live so close to all of our family and that they are all so willing to help. THANK YOU!!!
