I wanted to post a bunch of pictures from this past weekend but my computer is throwing a tantrum.
We went to my mom's families cabin this past weekend to help in the remodeling of it. It was so great to be able to go and help. I haven't been there in nearly 6 years and we used to go 6-7 times a summer.
Michael's dad let us borrow a few 4wheelers so we even got to ride a little bit. I love it up there. It is beautiful and I loved taking my kids to all the places we used to roam around for hours when we were little.
Michael is doing well with school so far. But it looks like we may have to find another line of work:( He is still doing real estate but the clientelle is not there to support us. I know things always work out the way they should so we will just keep on praying.
I'm doing pretty well so far with school. Our schedules around here are absolutely insane but it is so nice to be learning again. My class load ended up being a little heavier than I thought as far as homework goes but I am managing so far. We'll see how things go when Michael starts stacking up on homework as well.
Kk LOVES LOVES LOVES her new school...and so does her momma. She is so much more focused already than last year. She gets her homework done quickly because she likes to do it. She is much farther ahead on the reading then her grade level so she gets that done quickly as well. I loved seeing a detailed outline of what she does everyday, down to the hour, come home the first day of school. Also I loved that she had homework the 2nd day. I hate when the first week of school is wasted. So far so good for this new school.
The cage is as crazy as ever. The past few days when i've gotten her up in the morning the first thing I hear is "where's my daddy? I need my daddy." She is 100% a daddies girl..Grandpa's girl..uncles girl..really most all of the male figures in her life she loves!!
Buddha is getting huge. He has started running everywhere he goes (most likely trying to keep up with the Cage). This has most recently resulted in two big scabs on his forehead. I realized the other day we have somewhat become immune to his falls. When we are around other people and he falls they seem to freak a bit, we just look at him and he gets back up. He's shaping up to be just as crazy as the cage!
