Summer Catch up!!!

We usually start out most of our summer's with the Strawberry Days Rodeo!! This year was great with Matt, Art, and Preston did the wild cow milking. They almost got to the finals too!!
I'm really loving all the background characters in these pictures. Not to mention the Cage!!

Cousins watching the cows.
The next day we went camping with the Huntsmans. It was so fun. I love camping. I also really love when we camp somewhere with a shower and flushing toilets:)
My family came up for the Cage's 2nd Birthday.
I can't believe she is getting so old.

She really didn't want to go to sleep after all that sugar.
If you didn't know these two you really might think they were twins.
The sidewalk out from the marina is under water. It was so fun to walk out to the Island.

Our Family!

This water is so cold!!!!
Say Cheese Michael-Michael!!

That is a Very full Diaper.

We had a great time camping and are now back to real life and real stress. Things have been pretty much the same for us for a while but we are loving every minute of it...or at least trying our hardest to. We know we are on the path we should be so we'll leave the unanswered questions unanswered for now.

Summer.

I don't have any pictures to show but we really haven't done too much to warrant picture taking anyway. We have still been hiking on Sunday but the past 2 weeks i have forgotten my camera:(
Kailye and I are still running every morning. Although I have shin splints and a bruised ankle so that's not helping things along any.
By the time I get to the end of every day and I still have a list a mile long all I can think is how am I supposed to study this fall when I have no time as it is. Hopefully we will have a good schedule worked out between Michael and I so we can both get the studying and work done we need to.

Running update:)

S0 I signed up for a 5k about 2 months ago, then...
I got sick.
Really sick.
The kind of sick we are still figuring out.
On top of sick I miscarried what the doc thinks were twins.

Not the best late start to preparing.
I have been running...a lot.
and today....
I am back to my 10 minute mile:)

Now I have 3 weeks or so to get back to 5k length.
I in no way expect to keep up with my super human cousins and there freakish super human momma but I am going to finish and run the entire thing!

I walk literally everywhere. Every store I ever need is within a half mile of my house so I throw the kids in the jogger(best purchase I have ever made!!) and I head out. yesterday I ran a total of 4 miles and walked 2. Not all at the same time. But the goal is to get to where I can run to the pool with kk all summer:)...okay really if it weren't so stinking hot we could do that now.

Kk is running this race with me and she is getting pretty excited. Last week she made it 3/4 of a mile with no stopping and yesterday she did most of that running/walking with me. I am so proud of her decision to work hard.

Hiking..

Sunday we decided to hike the "y" trail. The Cage always likes to follow sissy's lead.
Had to get a picture of the girls wearing where our true lo
yalty is:)

Poor Buddha is on Michael's back=)
This is how the mister hiked. He said it was easier with both to balance.
I'm thinking nothing is easier with an extra 60 lbs.
yesterday we hiked to a waterfall near my parents house.
The Cage really loved the water fall....from a distance.
Michael & Buddha showing the Guns=)
White as they may be.
My favorite picture of the day.
Aubri and Cage held hand half way down the trail.

Michael did the same set up on this hike but with Cage and Aub.
I took Buddha with me...thanks to Nat & Chandler's nifty back packing rig.yesterday we started back into the running. I have been super sick and still am trying to figure out what is going on with my stomach so we had not been in about a month:(
Well I have a month to work m
y way back up to the 5k.
