Sectional Anyone?

We have decided to get rid of our sectional and try a new look.
I'm selling it for $750.
Let me know if
you know any one who is interested.
We love it but decided we're read
y for a change.

It is a velvet finish microfiber. Super soft and ver
y comfy.

Kailye's speach

I took kk to the Dr. yesterday.

She can hardly hear a word thanks to the raging, double, ear infections.

As the story goes....

Doc: "Kailye can you hear me well?"

Kk: "NOPE!! It's not very good either because I've been working on listening to my mom, I'm not very good at that, but it's so hard when my ears are all stuffed up!!"

Funny girl!

Valentine's Day and the rest...

Some lovely ladies brought these back for us from SEATTLE!
(not the crazy attached to it but the Crab legs)
Oh my they were delicious!
They made for a fabulous Sweethearts dinner.
Complete with..
Home made 'Red Lobster' cheese rolls
Stuffed salmon
Asparagus
Bruschetta
and that HUGE slice of chocolate cake
Kk has been sick this past week so not much has happened around here.

Negatives:
house is a disaster
laundry is not done:(
sad sick girl
home from school for the week

Positives:
meds today
no ruptured ear drum(she was on the verge)
no complaining...ever...that's why I had no idea how sick she was.
home from school for the week:)

Nothing spectacular

It hasn't really been an eventful day around here....

-Laundry started (one load but started none the less).
-room cleaned & re arranged.
-Stinking fuel sensor in the car replaced so it will pass inspection (2 months late).
-Michael & I worked on his listings...and on getting more;-)
-kids fed, mostly clothed, and now down to bed:)

...as you can see shower was not on that list. Need I say more.

Night.

The spirit.

I love the Olympics.
There is an incredible spirit with the opening ceremonies.
It is the once every other year event where the ENTIRE world gets along.
I feel an incredible spirit while watching and cheering for the people of this wonderful world.
I truely love people and my heart soars with them and cries with them.

Kailye's speach

A few of the funny things KK has said as of late...

In a fit of frustration and tears..."Why am I always losing my mind!!!"

After waiting for me in the car at my mother's..."Lady, you've been in there so long I'm old enough to be in college."

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Hmm...

Do you ever look down at your hands and think...
'those old things can't possibly be mine'.
I feel like this lately. When was it exactly that I became a "grown up".

Things have somewhat mellowed out around here.
We having been working hard to get Michael a few more clients.
(so we can pay our bills and keep our house and all).

The challenges have only proven to Michael and I that we are doing what we should be.
I'm trying to keep optimistic even when things seem crazy.

Fresh Start.

I need a fresh start. This week has been draining. I'm ready for Monday:)

Help....?

Michael and I have been adjusting to our new "freedom" of not being on someone else's schedule.
It's been good for us to focus on what we can do to boost clientele.
So the call goes out...

If you know of anyone looking to buy or sell a home let us know.
There are still government incentives for both.

Michael is a dedicated Realtor who loves working with first time home buyers and veterans:)

Kailye's speach

The things I've heard from Kk this week...

"Well, in actuality mom..."
"In fact Dad..."
"The principle of the matter is..."

I kid you not. The crazy thing is she can use it all in the correct context. If she hears a word once she knows exactly how to use it. I'm not sure where this child got her incredible intellect;-)

Today was Ground Hog Day and this is the conversation I had with her...

k: "mom?"
m: "yes kk?"
k: "why do people only care about the ground hog in Pennsylvania?"
m: "puxatony phil?"
k: "yes. He's in Pennsylvania. In Philadelphia. Why do they only care about him? What about the Utah ground hog? We have snow and winter too mom."

She's so considerate to think of all those Utah ground hogs:)

Just awesomeness...yes I realize that is not a word.

Since the Cage has decided the toddler bed is not for sleeping and just for playing she has been banned to the crib. But...Buddha really needs to be in his own bed because he's way too big for the bassinet:) So...my momma made this fabulous cover for the play pen. It is part of the transformation of the kids room...those walls are going to need to be painted. My mom-in-law and sis-in-law brought this beauty back from Seattle for me.
I love it!!
Michael decided the other night to let the girls have a race on who could eat their pizza first.
I'm not sure they knew that was going on:)

Aubri sure though it was funny though.
Cage just liked the food....shocker I know.Does it make anyone else nervous to see two tubs full of China on the next shelf up.
Well it did me which is why kiddos aren't allowed to play there anymore.
I NEVER buy snack food.
It's just too expensive
...BUT...
I got all of this for $26!!
That is is a $57 savings:)

Man I love a deal.
This is what my car looked like this past week.
Buddha was not impressed with his sister's antics.
Don't you just love Keija's new car seat.
(sense the sarcasm)
I bought it on KSL for $60!!
I paid over $300 for almost the same one a year ago...I didn't think of KSL then.
These girls couldn't get enough of Michael.
Or each other for that matter.
This is their favorite place to play.
We loved having an extra kiddo this week at our house.
We were so sad to have to give her back.
Michael would really like for me to have twins now:)
