Another update...just for you Holly:)

We have been busy with the end of the school year events!

Kailye had her kindergarten program.
She did great...she talked through most of it and I think we have her picking her nose on tape but it was VERy cute. We are very happy to be done with kindergarten and get a re-focus this summer before first grade. We are glad she has a great time at school but we have no love loss for her teacher. Michael & I are pretty firm believers that a child can excel with any teacher as long as the parents are involved but we would have liked to see more discipline in the class room than we saw this year. Hopefully next year will be a better story.Keija just wanted to eat...shocker I know.

Last week mom & I took the kiddo's to the zoo also. It was so fun to see the new Madagascar exhibit. We had a great time and the weather was perfect.Kailye also turned 6 this week!!! Oh my word, up until now no birthday has really weirded me out but 6 did it! She is no longer just a little kid...she is very opinionated...okay she's always been opinionated, and talented, and finding her voice carries weight with her friends. She is learning early her influence over people. I have been surprised to watch her just walk away from situations where she is being yelled at or put down by a friend (they are only 6) and have it not affect her in the least. She is a strong little lady. She is getting so old. I miss my tiny, little, loud mouth, jabber talking baby but it is amazing to see her grow up into such a beautiful and talented girl. She LOVES her little sister and their bond shows it. Keija gets SO excited to see kk.

We had a bday party for kk. It was so hard for her to narrow her list from 35 of her closest friends to 14. But she did it. The kids had a great time just playing at the park..
Keija wanted to follow the kids so badly...
Walking just wasn't cutting it....

Kailye had a late start to school today for a kindergarten field trip. She told me yesterday when she got home from school..."mom, I have to be late to school tomorrow. I'm REALLy good at that!" She's so cute.

We went to KK's dance recital this week. It was fun to watch her have fun. She has had some trouble concentrating in class (I think this is partly due to her lack of discipline in school) but her teacher took the challenge and ran with it. SHe wrote Kailye a wonderful letter telling her she was her best learner when she focused. She spent half of the dance waving at us. After she told me she couldn't see me so she just kept waving so I could see her:)
Our "little" Keija is growing up too fast also. She is walking as much as she can lately. I am glad to have her be a little more mobile before the next one comes. Keija is such a joker. She loves to tease people...something I'm sure she gets from her daddy. She is also just as much of a poser for the camera as her sissy. She loves to dance and we love her little personality. So far she seems to be just as loud and opinionated as KK...which I love!!! I'm pretty sure none of our children will be quiet since Michael and I definitely aren't...especially at home with just our family:) We love our kids and are soooo excited to ad to our family with a little man...still un-named:(

Keija loved watching KK's dance recital. She would just dance and dance!!Michael has been working hard and I have been getting more uncomfortable by the minute. This pregnancy is still heads and tails easier than the others but he sure is a big baby!! I'll get a belly pic up soon.

Where have we been?

We have been busy busy the past few weeks...well that and sick:(
So I'll keep the comments short so you can just enjoy the pictures:)

Keija "playing" in the grass. She really hates it.
Good news--because of her hate for the green stuff she has started walking:)
Kailye loves climbing the tree in the front yard.
The Kullick family came to visit a few weeks ago. It was fun to play and visit. This is the only picture I have of any of them. I have some lovely video of this game we were playing, but it wouldn't load.
This is Chad playing the game.
We did some dog sitting for Michael's dad while he went to Powell.
Kailye was very excited that Michael let Missy sleep on the bed...after mom said NO!
We went up the Canyon with the Griffee clan plus Grandma & Grandpa Cox for a cook out.
It was fun to sit by the fire.

Cheese balls

Aubri Jean turned 1 this past week and had a great birthday party.
Keija decided it was her job to keep track of Missy. She was yanking the poor dog everywhere.
Little Jayci got a taste of her first sucker and she wasn't sharing with anyone:)
Kailye and the "big" girls loved jumping on the tramp.
Keija thought it was pretty great also.
It was soooo hot yesterday. I let Kailye break out the sprinkler in the yard. Landon, the neighbor boy, is in the tree behind her.
Saturday we went to the park in the morning for some exercise on such a beautiful day. Marley loves going along and thinks she should be able to play with everyone and everything she sees. She is still in puppy mode most of the time but I think that comes with the breed.

Keija thought Marley and dad racing after the same stick was pretty funny.
Saturday was the day we put this beautiful garden in. We got a late start and were out until 1 am finishing. We had to clear 2 foot high weeds and a fence before we even got started. I'm so excited to get fresh fruit and veggies!:)I planted these last year and they look so pretty this year. I love sitting outside...well in the front yard. We have a LOT of work to do on the back yard!
We have been enjoying visiting family the past few weeks and we are loving the Summer weather! It seems weird to think we only have 2 months left before we flip our little world upside down again:) I haven't taken a recent belly picture but I'll try and get one this week.

A couple little funny stories about the monkeys....

The other night we were up at my parents house and happened to be watching American Idol. Keija LOVES to dance so she was bouncing around to the music. We were all watching as she stood up bent over with her big rear in the air and started bouncing it around. It was hilarious!!!! I wish I would have had the camera out.

We took a little drive up to the new Draper temple the other night and Michael was showing Kailye and I these massive homes around the corner. They look like castles. There is one that is absolutely ridiculous though. It is HUGE!! Michael & I were talking about what a waste of money a huge home like that was and how we would likely never build that big. Kailye said she would like to buy a house that big when she grows up so she can live in a castle. So I was asking her what job she was going to have to be able to pay for that house...well she said, very matter of factly, "I'm not going to buy it. My husband is!" Michael & I couldn't stop laughing she just went on and on. Part of me was very proud that she wants her husband to support them:) The other part of me thinks she need a reality check:)

Nothing exciting and no syrup

We had a fairly uneventful weekend. Friday was Chandler's birthday so we headed to Dan's for a BBQ..uh, in the rain:) Food was yummy and company was great. Natalie and I had a rousing game of Air hockey..too which I won, and a very un-rousing game of pool..too which we both decided we are out of practice. It was fun to see our favorite little nieces and be with family.

Michael went to a rugby game Saturday while I stayed home with the kiddo's, feeling sluggish. We were supposed to go to a jazz concert but since I was feeling like crap my wonderful hubby stayed home with me...even though he LOVES jazz and was sad to miss it.

Sunday we headed to mom's after church to hang out with my cousin's and Aunt & Uncle who are visiting from California. I wish we could see them more often. It was the usual "Coombs" event. yummy food, VERy loud, and TONZZZ of laughing. We were trying to think of a name for our, soon-to-be, latest addition. I decided to fire my cousin Ty after he came up with Gizmo. Sorry T no Gizmo. I had my camera and forgot to take pictures. I will get some this week before they head home:)

I woke up this morning with a huge head ache, a soar throat, upset stomach, runny nose, & pain in my ears. Fun eh? And to top it off Keija has left little to the imagination about what she has eaten, several times today...yay me. Thanks to my awesome Aunt, Kk has gotten the chance to go play with cousins and avoid the sickness. Thank you Holly:) So we have taken it easy today and I'm hoping tomorrow will be better. Keija seems to be feeling better and I'm down to just ears and throat hurting:)
