Quick Funny Story:)

Michael and I decided to go to a matinee on Saturday...this is not the funny part:)
Kailye, Keija & I were waiting outside in the car while Michael went to purchase the most expensive, square inch, piece of paper you ever throw away.
He called to ask which movie I would like to view.
And here is the following conversation......

Michael: "Which movie do you want to see?"
Me: "I don't really care. I want to see something funny. Nothing Dramatic."
Kk Proudly! (from the back seat): "Hey! Dramatic! That's what I am!"

Michael and I could not stop laughing. She truly is our little "drama queen", but not in the usual negative way. She's just too funny and FULL of spunk!!

Park, belly pictures and an update:)

So we have been pretty busy with the normal everyday stuff around here.

Kailye has been doing great at school. I received a new book from a friend to teach her more at home. All of the things I wish they would focus a little on in school...arts, culture, diversity:) She also started Piano lessons and is loving it. Now we just need to find a decent, inexpensive piano:) She also is getting ready for her spring program with dance. I'm so happy to have a child who loves several of the same things I do. It is so fun to see her excel.

Keija is getting too big, too fast. She will stand up on her own and stand for a while but no walking yet. I would like her to be walking before this next rugrat is born so I'm not carrying 2 babies:) She learns new things every day and always amazes us. We are happy she has become picky about her food. For a while there the kid would eat anything and everything:)

Michael is done with rugby for the summer, besides some touch practices. He did very well this season and we are proud of him for doing so well. He is still working hard and slowly but surely building a business for himself and our family. I'm so proud of how far he has come personally and career wise this year. He put himself through a lot to get to this point and I'm happy he is so dedicated so I can stay home and take care of our babies and our home.
I love you babe!!

I have been doing GREAT since we figured out I am anemic while I'm pregnant.(wish we would have figured that out 2 babies ago) A switch in the prenatal vitamins and all is well:) It's been so good lately I sometimes forget I'm pregnant...That NEVER happened with any other pregnancy ever. I have been doing lots of family members hair lately, which I love. I really do enjoy doing it. As long as people don't mind me washing out their hair in my sink all is well:) I also love watching the results come out and seeing people's hair get healthier after a few months of non-box color:)...tee hee, you know who you are:) I actually got to do Michael's aunt Val's hair yesterday and it turned out beautifully. It is fun to sit and chat with people and get to know people better while they are here. It's also great to have something to myself...I know it's not technically "myself" but I like feeling like I make a contribution besides in my kids lives.

Okay so here is the belly...and all that seems to come along with it:(
I think I'm somewhere between 29-31 weeks but I'm really not sure. We'll just say 6 months:)
Note to self...don't sit on a swing while taking ANy pictures pregnant.
This picture makes it look like I have a bum...I do, but not that big:)
This face is all we've seen since Friday.
Keija has learned the art of the cheesy child face and she LOVES it!
Crawling through the tube was lots of fun:)
"Is this grass?"
"Oh, nope."
"Not grass."
Trying to get a picture of Kailye at the park is like asking a monkey not to swing through the trees:)

Keija loves the swings.
So happy to be out of the stroller...she only has eyes for the swings behind daddy.
Poor Marley wants to play with everyone. Too many people at the park this day.

Projects...half done anyway:)

I had only 2 loads of laundry left and had everything else folded and in baskets ready to put away until......

Even the whites in the background were all folded...little stinker! This after she tried to play in paint this morning. I have to watch this one EVERy second of the day or she finds something to get into:) Kk was not nearly as curious.

Kailye was having such a great time yesterday playing in the sun while I got all the yard work done. She even went and asked her babysitter to come play. Marley scared Bailey by jumping up to where she was and licking her face. Must be the boxer in her. I'm surprised she doesn't jump the fence on our side yard.
On my birthday one of my friends asked what we should do, since Michael wasn't here, and I jokingly said paint my kids room:) yay for me she said sure! It still needs to be touched up and the upper wall and seiling need to be painted but it looks so cute. yesterday I got Kailye bed frame painted and put up so now I'm just missing Keija's toddler bed(it's at grandma's) and we'll be set for 3 in one room:) Sheesh! Still plenty of room to play so I think it's great.

Well I guess I should probably make dinner before Michael gets home:)

Camping in Canyonlands!!!

Climbing the rock at our camp ground
Day 1...before the dirt!I climbed the rocks for a while but this is the only picture you get.
Jayci waving to you!
We love Ikea high chairs!
Aubri
Keija is always yelling at me!
Kk & Grandma taking a ride.
Cute kid wore her helmet all week...as soon as we got it she wore it the rest of the car ride down:)
"Come on lets go!!"
It was a little tricky to figure out how to get a drink with the helmet:)
Michael & KK "flexing"...lol
That is not a 5 o'clock shadow on my husband, it's dirt!
He looked like he had been spray tanned too much...so gross!
This is washing off at the river after a long ride.
Natalie flipped the 4-wheeler on the way back to camp, so she rode with me in the Hemi and the babies the rest of the way. She was COVERED in dirt and Kari and I pulled inch long stickers out of her skin, but she is okay, besides being pretty shaken up and bruised everywhere. It could have been a much worse situation if the 4-wheeler had landed on more than her leg. We still can't figure out how she managed to get it facing the opposite direction and turned sideways. Nat was at the rear end of the six 4-wheelers with Kari and I following in the truck. Luckily KK saw her flip from the back of Michael's 4-wheeler or we would have had to track the rest of them down. We didn't see it happen but when we pulled up we couldn't see Nat either. We are glad she is okay though:)

Here are all the babies in the back of the truck.

Little Aubri was not very happy:(
Nat is in the background of this picture...she was VERy dirty:)
Keija LOVED the water...she just wanted to get in so bad.
Kk & uncle Adam covered in dirt!
Aubri was much happier once we got out of the truck. I forgot to take a picture of the trail we were on but I would have much rather taken my thinner, lighter 4Runner on it:) The Hemi did okay except for some really tight shocks and a little slipping.
Keija finally got to get "in" the water:)

Adam & Aubri
Sitting around the camp fire.

Eating breakfast out in the sun was keija's favorite...that and all the dogs! She loves animals!
Aubri was so cute walking around everywhere.
"Sharing" breakfast.
After the 4-wheeler ride the day before it took us 30 minutes to get kk out of bed. She was so tired the night before she fell asleep in her camping chair by the fire.
Ready to ride again!
So happy!
Kailye was such a great little hiker. She was having little trouble keeping up with Michael on the rocks. She wasn't happy with us when it was time to go home. We all wanted to stay longer...too bad Michael has to make a living:)
I think all her time was spent up there when she wasn't on a 4-wheeler.
Marley was so excited to follow Michael & Kailye everywhere they went. Michael had her chasing the 4-wheelers for a while and he said she could sprint full speed at 23 miles per hour. Funny dog!
I have this same picture of KK & Michael at news paper rock when Kk was 11 months old. Kk was asleep so we just took the picture of these 2.
We had so much fun playing inthe desert! I'm so glad to have a husband who likes to camp and play as much as I do. We are also very grateful to have family to come along. It doesn't hurt that they bring toys and trailers:) It was a great break from reality for a while!
