Oh a day in the life of a mama...

My day started at 4:45...yours?

The child came in at that time..."I can't sleep mom, can I lay with you?"

mom then replied.."sure"...thinking it was 7 not nearly 5AM.

But then noticing that man was still in bed, asked said man...."what time is it?"

...he's usually at the gym by 5:15 so I figured it was early or he slept in.

Then after just a few minutes of the monkey in our bed with us, realized she is a little heater.

Feeling her forehead at the exact moment she goes into a coughing fit.

She states..."I don't really feel good mom."

Oh goody:)

Tylenol distributed, movie on, man off to the gym, and me getting dressed, the small one cries from the other room(actually all she does now is say "dad...dada...dad!)

...seriously?...It's too early for this crap.

I'm very happy I went to bed at 10:30 last night and not 12.

Clean floors:)...and other stuff..

I finally dug into my floors today.

Our entire house-excluding the kitchen and bathroom-is hardwood.

I scrubbed them just a month ago and have mopped once a week since. However...they were GROSS!

I finally broke down and bought a swiffer wet jet and I should have done it a year ago. It was so much nicer.

Down side-I picked up the rug in the family room and decided it's not going back down until it's cleaned:(

Plus side-the kids loved being able to color on the floor while they watched Toy Story.

P.S.-You should have seen the look on people's faces at Target when I was walking around with a 5 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old, and 7 month old and I'm obviously preggo.

It didn't help when Kk would point out I was pregnant and call me crazy, or when Bright or Parks would accidently call me mom. It also didn't help that all 4 of them look pretty similar...LOL. Oh it was hilarious!

me?...a life line for Cash Cab?

A few weeks ago Michael and Kailye started playing gospel oriented "Cash Cab".

Well last night I was a life line.

I got a call and the first thing I hear Kailye say is "Mom, who is the current president of the Church?"

I laughed hysterically and answered.

When she got home I asked her why she called, since I know she knew the answer to that one, she said "Dad doesn't ask very hard questions. I really just wanted to use a life line." Silly girl!

Well I am taking the Maxwell boys today, to help Steph out. I really need to go get the floors cleaned before I go get kk and them. Better go..bye.

productive?

I feel like a procrastinator and very productive at the same time.

Today we...

Helped mom cut on all 50 states with the cricut

Helped mom cut out all the other stuff we needed

Swept the floor (twice)

Watched Aubri for a few hours

Took kk to and from school

Did my visiting teaching done...I know it's the end of the month

Made dinner

Made bread

Did dishes (twice)

Gave Kk a bath

Gave Keija a bath

Today we didn't...

Put away the laundry

Do the laundry:(

That was really what I needed to get done today...It's sitting on my couch. Michael is going to re-do the girls closet this weekend so we have more room for their clothes:)...YAY!

Well I need to go finish up the bread and dinner.

Nothing going on.

We don't really have anything going on today. We are going to clean up the bedrooms and do laundry:) Fun eh? I know you are all envious:)

Kailye had every person we passed at church yesterday ask her how I did her hair:) I just do it like this because it will stay in a few days. I don't know where the days of corn rows in my 2 year old's hair went to..lol.

Keija has learned her destructive powers...as well as the rest of us. She has found out that she can make a mess really fast before anyone sees her. Then when you catch her she turns away from the mess and looks at you as if to say.."what?...I didn't do all that?" I'm not buying it kid.

Well I smell something funky so I think I better go...seriously I know you are all envying me right now.

Kids day!

We took Bright and Parks today so Steph could get a rest.
They have been having way too much fun!

I know it's so pathetic. I never post anymore.

It's not that I don't want to it's that we are currently computer less and we have no internet:(

However, I super nice neighbor said we could borrow one of his many computer's until we get a cord for ours! Yay!!

We have great neighbors...too bad they are moving:(

Anyway, we have all been sickies around the Griffee house. Keija got RSV and Kailye and I have had colds so we have been on house arrest for almost a week...boo.

Michael's bday was fun. We had dinner with the Griffee family and Cake with the Maxwell side.

We had a family night at nickelcade last saturday also...cheap fun!

Poor little Keija got her first owee...she got a paper cut. poor kid.

My dad took some adorable "six" month pictures of

Keija the other day. She's actually seven months.

She has been crawling everywhere for a month and won't really take a bottle anymore.

My little piggy would much rather eat real food.

Kailye is doing really well in school.

She gets pretty bored some days but I think that's okay.

She is growing like a weed.

I think she's grown 6 inches in the past few months.

Why do they have to grow up?

Michael is getting better and better at his job.

We have been very blessed for him to be able to work so closely with his dad.

He is learning so much.

I have been good. Trying to get my house gutted and cleaned out before we ad another munchkin.

I am getting bigger and bigger....not great.

I think I'm around 14 or 16 weeks pregnant...I really don't know.

I'll ask the doctor in 2 weeks when we go in.

Where have we been....?

Well to answer the above question, we have driven 2500 miles in the past 24 days if that tells you how crazy things have been around our house.

This is my family on Christmas Eve! My mom made everyone jammies for there favorite schools! I love all these pictures...they are exactly my family 90% of the time...ignore my awesome preggo stomach..pretty eh?

you'll have to click on the picture to see it bigger..I stole it from Steph's blog..shhh don't tell:)At the moment we have 22 inches of snow on our front lawn! Stupid Utah snow...I loathe you! Kailye is enjoying it...she loves going to my mom's to sled down their backyard with cousins.
