Mostly pictures..no seriously

We went to the pool today with most of the Maxwell family. It was fun to hang out with my siblings...minus Bobbie, we missed you. Kailye always loves the pool and to have more than just boring mom and Keija there was a real treat to her. I didn't take any pictures sorry. Tonight Kailye went to Chucky Cheese with Michael and his mom while I helped dad take engagement pictures of my friend from high school. They turned out very cute. Well that is really all I have to say today so I'll just leave you all with some super cute pics dad took of the family.

Saturday at Sundance

I love Saturdays. It's really the only day Michael is actually home. Well he actually worked this morning for a while and Leeana came over while he was out so I took the time she was here to take a shower and get ready for the day. By the time I was done Michael was home so we headed out to lunch at Goodwood. I really love that place. We eat there far too much. After that we decided it would be fun to drive up to Sundance for a while. When we got up there we noticed the ski lift was open so we decided to take a ride. It was the perfect day to do it. The weather was perfect. It was warm but not super hot and there was a nice breeze. It was so relaxing.Kailye and Grandma Leeana.Keija in the Baby Bjorn...I love that thing! The Griffee Family!!Isn't this view Beautiful!!Kailye found a butterfly.

When we got home it started raining. One of mine and Kk's favorite things to do is play in the rain. I was feeding Keija so she convinced her dad to go play in the rain with her. Well it wasn't just a sprinkling but a down poor! The two of them and the dog were very wet!! They may have well just gotten in the shower with their clothes on.
After playing in the rain we remembered the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus 3D movie was on tonight. Kailye was very excited. She has been dancing around all night watching it. She's so funny. I have video of her with her microphone dancing around but I can't get it to upload:( It's playing again now so she is still up watching it...oh well she can sleep in tomorrow.

summer...:)

I can't believe it's the end of July already. This summer has gone by way too fast. I'm really not ready for it to end. Wednesday we went up to mom and dad's and took lots of very cute pictures. We even took a new family picture. I will have to put some up at their house because they are all on dad's computer. After pictures we went to dinner with the family and then sent Kailye to her grandma's for a sleep over. She was so excited. Michael and I went and saw The Dark Night also. It was very good, I really liked it a lot. It definitely lived up to the hype it's produced. When we got home Wednesday night we brought Marley inside. We haven't really had her inside that much since Keija was born, but I want her to be used to her. By the end of the night Marley was right by her side with her head resting on her bouncer.Thursday was Pioneer Day so Michael didn't have to work. He decided to go golfing with Adam. So Kari and I took our kids and went to dad's to choose a picture to have printed of the girls in their tutu's and to look at all of them. They were so cute. There were a lot of pictures to look at so we spent quite a while there. We sat and talked and played with all the kids. Parks kept bringing Jayci toys to play with. After running a few errands we went to Aunt Val's house to see Sarah and her kids. They are here visiting from Seattle for a while. Kailye had lots of fun playing with Jaxson, Liama and Emmi in the sprinklers. Then we headed up to Salt lake to go swimming and hang out with the family. Kari was showing KK how to jump into the pool crazy. It was cute to watch kk trying. We all had fun playing in the water. Keija loves the pool. I tried to get Michael to get a picture of her while she was in the water but I left my camera in the car while she was in the pool. She was so alert and so cute just looking around.I think this picture of Jayci is so cute. We headed back to Kari and Adam's after swimming and had pizza and did fireworks. Kailye loves fireworks so she was very excited. She was playing with Adam and Uncle David on the couch and she got a little stuck. We will be sad when David heads back to Tennessee in a few weeks. He has been here for about a year now and Kailye loves seeing him and talking to him.We started Keija on a routine yesterday also. She thought she was starving last night for about an hour but she lived and fell right to sleep after she ate. I of course did not go to sleep though. I did Kari's hair instead. It took a while longer than I was thinking for her hair to process though so we were there until about 3...oops. I fed Keija again when we got home and she went right to sleep again.
Kailye and I were lazy this morning and just hung out and watched movies. Then Kk decided she wanted to go visit grandma Gordon so went called and headed up there. We went swimming and Kailye had so much fun. She recently discovered she really can swim without her life vest on so she did for a while today. Keija was great in the pool again but I forgot her sun hat so she was only in for a minute before I handed her off to grandma to hold. Kailye loves going up to see her Grandma, pool or no pool. Keija was talking to grandma. Kari, she figured out how to jump in all crazy. We just hung out at home the rest of the afternoon and were really very lazy. Tonight I put Keija in bed after Kailye went to bed and she fell right to sleep again. She is screaming now but it lasted a while...she's actually been screaming for an hour and Kailye is still asleep:) It's going to be a few long nights a head until she gets used to sleeping in her bed.

Just another day.

Kailye and I took Keija to the doctor this morning...little stinker still has thrush. She also weighs almost 11 lbs. She is getting so big way too fast. After the doctor we just ran errands. Then tonight we went up to Salt Lake to go to the Carter's store with Kari and Jayci. I wanted to get some cute stuff for pictures tomorrow with Keija and Kailye. We found great stuff and even got 20% off just for asking if they had a coupon. yeah! After that we went to dinner with Dan, Peggy, and Uncle David. It was nice to sit and talk. David gave KK a U of U cheerleading outfit. It's very cute. Peggy also gave her a cute purse and Grandpa, of course, gave her a dollar to put in it.

Well Michael just got home and Kk is crying so I better go...sorry so boring...bye.

Weekend review.

Saturday was another day of family reunion fun. In the morning everyone went to the park, but since Keija didn't sleep so we didn't go. Michael had to work also so the thought of taking a 5 year old and a 1 months old to the park, in the heat, by myself, on an hour of sleep...yeah I think not!

Saturday night we went up to the church by my mom's house and had a Luau themed party. It was so fun to have everyone there again. My cousins and aunt from California even suprised us and came. They are so funny. I just think it's so funny how they finish each others thoughts. With out ever talking over each other. I tried to uplaod a video of them but no luck...I'll try again later.
Mom and the family did a great job with everything. We had a lot of fun. Here are some family pictures from the night. I didn't get a picture of the entire family, I'll have to steal one from my dad and post it later. This is really not a very good picture but here it is anyway. This is a picture of all my emmidiete cousins and there spouses and all of our kids. All that were there...we missed you Coombs in TN.After the evening events we went and saw Mama Mia again. I know, sad. But Bobbie and I convinced all the girls to go. We were definitley the loudest in the theater...but really when is the Coombs family not the loudest anywhere we go? I love seeing my family, I wish we all could get together more often. It kills me how alike we all are no matter how long we've gone with out seeing each other. When we were outside talking after the movie for some reason everyone was showing how they snap at the same time...well I made the comment that it was like West Side Story. So what does my family do?...we all break out into the fight scene snapping sequence. Who does that? Oh yes, that's right my family truely is a musical! We had a great weekend and I'm sad it's over and I have to go back to my real life. Love you all.

another pool and Mama Mia!!!

Today has been another great day to ad to our ever growing list of wonderful days. Kailye, Keija and I went to the pool again today. This time it was the scera. It was very hot and very crowded but we had fun anyway. Keija is so good at the pool she likes the water and even kicks her feet around.
That's Kk in there in the pink goggles and yellow swimsuit.
After the pool we got ready and headed over to the Coombs family reunion. We used to have them every 4 years but at the last one they changed them to every 2 years. I was excited to see everyone again. When we pulled into the parking lot at the church tonight

Michael said "wow, that's a lot of cars. Is there a lot of people here?." I just laughed. My family is pretty huge, and they weren't even all there. Once we were inside Michael made the comment that we all look alike. After looking around you could definitely tell who was a Coombs and who married into the family. It was funny.

After the evening activities Bobbie and I went and saw Mama Mia. It is officially my new favorite movie. We both LOVED it. It was a hilarious chick flick. I felt bad for all the poor suckers (husbands and boy friends) that got conned into going to see it. Bobbie and I were laughing so hard almost the whole movie. At one point Bobbie said she almost wet her pants. If you grew up listening to Abba you would definitely like the movie. Just don't put your significant other through it. you'll have more fun if it's all girls anyway. It is a park your brain, fun, movie.

Well I better get some sleep before the nugget wakes up again. Bye.

Fun in the sun

Today we went to Grandma Great's to swim and visit. It was a great day to sit and play in the sun. All of my nephews were there, and they were all so cute playing in the pool. Kailye loved it...she always loves the pool. She was so excited today because she is starting to learn to swim with out the life vest. She was so happy when she could swim from Bobbie to me and all over. Although if she got a little tired she'd yell "Bobbie catch me." It was funny. I'm just glad she is learning to swim. She also got a magazine at the store to look at...yeah it's an all Disney channel edition of People Magazine...how much is she like her mama? Today was the first time we took Keija swimming also. She was so sweet after she got used to the water. She wasn't in for very long though..it was very sunny.Today's project was to make my girl's tutu's for pictures on Sunday. I saw them at the mall but it was $40 for some mesh and elastic...are you kidding me:) So I bought stuff to make them myself for $6 dollars. So far they are so cute...I decided to make them for my nieces also so we can take a cute cousins picture this weekend. The advantages to having all girl cousins:) Kari is going to help me make all the head bands for them...yeah. I love little girl's stuff.Keija was a little fussy tonight and I was getting kk ready for bed so I didn't grab her binky. Well after a minute she stopped fussing. I looked down and this is what she found. She was very content with it for a few minutes.Natalie stopped by tonight on her way home so I could measure Aubri's waste for her tutu. Well Aubri is 5 weeks older than Keij and 2 pounds smaller. It's so funny. They are just too cute.Well that was our day...I'm going to bed.

Hair and more:)

I'm starting to feel so much more myself the past few days. I still have quite a bit of weight shifting to take care of, but I'm going to need to hit the gym for that. Anyway, Kailye and I have been having fun getting everything done around the house. We are in the process of refinishing Grandma and Grandpa Coombs old table.....Thank you for it by the way. We re-covered the seat cushions, and we are painting it. It's getting there but Michael needs to finish it, and he really doesn't have much time so I guess you'll have to wait for the finished product. I even colored my hair last night. I feel much more like me now. It's so stupid how your hair color can make you feel better. I was trying to take a cute picture of my hair and KK jumped in...nutty kid. After I got ready today I came out to find this. Kailye really loves her little sister. She can calm her down faster than anyone. It's the sweetest thing.

We went to the mall today and grabbed my little weed some new blue jeans. She loves shopping. I know, not great. But she's so cute to watch spin around in front of the mirrors.
She's such a cheese. One of Kailye's favorite things to do is take goofy pictures. Aren't we cute.
Keija was happy to see Michael home tonight. She's so cute when she just sits and stares at you. Well that post was really random and jumpy, but I'm tired so I really am not going to care. Bye.
