Update

Yeah still no internet. We don't have money to spend on it so it won't be at our house for a while. Anyway, things have been ok around our house. We are loving the spring weather and wishing we had money to do our landscaping in our yard. The backyard is pretty much a disaster. Marley has been outside all winter and has done a lovely number on it. She doesn't really chew things up but she has found a ton of random toys that were barried in our yard. So we now have holes all over. Not that it was in great shape to begin with. It is very uneven and there is no sprinkler system. I guess we'll be dragging hose all summer. I'm just grateful to have a yard at all, mess or not. :)

We rearranged the family room at our house to be much more open. It feel so much bigger now. Michael isn't to thrilled about having to re-hang the wall peices but it really does make our house feel so much bigger. We had all the Griffee family over to color Easter eggs last Friday. I was worried our little house feel be far too small for all 9 of us but it really was pretty comfortable. Ok that might have been because I parked my butt in the corner of my sectional and barely moved :P We did have lots of fun though...of course everyone forgot to take eggs home with them though so I now have 3 dozen hard boiled eggs....what the crap am I going to do with 38 eggs?

Last Saturday we went to one of Michael's cousin's reception. It was very small but everything looked great. I loved there Black and White cake. We also haven't seen a lot of his cousins in a while so it was good to catch up...even though we saw all the same cousins the next day.

Sunday we stopped by mom's for a minute so she could see Kk in her cute little Easter dress. I didn't realize the entire Coombs clan would be there. It was good to see everyone for a bit. After that we went to Michael's Aunt Val's house for Easter dinner. She always does such a great job with the decorations. It was great. Now writing about it is really making me want cheesy potatoes.mmmm. It was a pretty good weekend. I made KK & Jayci's easter dresses to match. They were so cute and Kk was very excited they matched. I don't really have a great picture of them, but they both looked so cute.

Since Sunday night I have been pretty sick. I thought it was just the same old pregnancy stuff but I had a fever of 102 on Tuesday night. I'm thinking it was the flu. I am feeling much better today than I have all week but still not great...just preggo not great though. I can't believe we only have 10-12 weeks left. It's seems so weird. Michael is getting more excited the farther along we get.

Easter?..What the?

So it really just hit me today that easter is in just a few days. It feels way too early to be easter already. And way too cold. I got Jayci's easter dress made a week or so ago and I still need to put kk's together. They are very cute. I will try to put up pictures on Sunday. Kk was very excited to pick out all the fabric and make little braclets to go with them. Tonight we are going to color easter eggs with whoever decides to come over. I don't think we really have enough table room though...huh i should probably grab a card table.

I trimmed Michael's hair last night, it looks pretty good. After we were done and he looked in the mirror he asked why we had been paying for someone else to do it...Uh...because i didn't want to and I was pregnant and until now we had the extra $25 to do so :-P Oh well. I guess I will be cutting it from now on. I need to wash the shirt I had on last night though. It now has hair all over the belly area.

Tomorrow we are going to a wedding reception for one of Michael's cousins and then a birthday dinner for his Uncle. On Sunday we are headed to Val's (Michael's Aunt) for the Cox family easter dinner. So we should be pretty busy this weekend.

SOme stuff

We still have no Internet at our house so once again you all get no pictures. We have been pretty busy the past little while. We went and saw Horton Hears a Who. I don't know how it is though because I slept through it. Kk said it was good. We are going to go see it again with Leeana anyway so I guess I will tell you all what I think then. I re-arranged my family room the other day also. We have a very over sized sectional for our teeny tiny house. The front room is actually very big but we use it as the office also so we moved things around to open up the room. I'll post a picture later. I took one the other day but it was before Michael put away the 2 weeks worth of laundry.

Yesterday Bobbie was supposed to watch kk during the day. But I slept in and she had a doctors appointment. By the time we were done with all that I didn't really feel like working so much. We went to Target and Babies R Us to register. My mother in law is throwing a baby shower for me in April. I really don't need anything but a car seat but she really wants to so I said sure. You are all welcome to come if you are here. I'm not sure when it is yet though. I guess I'll let you know. It has been so long since I had a baby that I forgot about how much crap comes with them. We have gotten a lot of the baby stuff out of the garage for JD to use while he is at our house. We have so much stuff and no where to put it really. Oh well.

Well I'm going to head home now since Kk is running all over my office. Bye.

I haven't blogged in a few days so I figured it was about time. I still can't post pictures with out being at mom and dad's so there are none for this blog again. Anyone know of a cheap Internet co? We have been pretty busy lately.

Michael is still working full time for his dad, playing rugby 3-4 days a week, going to the gym everyday, and somehow finding time to still get the laundry and dishes done and spend time with Kk and I. I am glad he is so dedicated to making a living. We are still a little nervous about a permanent income as soon as the work up at the apartments is done, but we seem to always be able to find ways to make ends meet so we'll see how it goes. He is planning on going into commercial real estate and still doing residential to keep the income up. The problem is the commercial deals take so much longer. If you know Michael well you would know that he is EXTREMELY driven and usually succeeds at what ever he chooses, school, rugby, etc. I'm glad his focus has shifted from school to work. He hates that I am working but what do you do. I'm grateful to have a husband who thinks it is very important for me to stay home and is doing everything he can to get it that way.

Kailye has been loving school. She is so happy to be able to go play at all her friends houses. She comes home with something new to tell me about everyday. I hope she won't be too upset next year when she has to make all new friends again at public school. I would love to keep her at the school she's at but there kindergarten classes are so expensive. They do offer them from 9-2 Mon-Thur. and they include 2 dance classes, karate, and singing. I think we will try public school this next year and let her go to the studio to take dance and singing after school. She is very into Aladdin and Jungle Book lately. I can usually catch her singing along with the songs or saying the parts of the movie she has stuck in her head. It's so fun to watch her get bigger but it also makes Michael and I so sad to see her turn into a young lady and not a little girl. glad we are having another one soon.

I have been good. Trying to make some extra money for savings and trying to stay health. This pregnancy has thrown us some loops but it is still better than my pregnancy was with Kailye. I am usually pretty good about getting things done as long as I don't sit down after work. I know all this energy will be gone before I know it so I'm trying to take full advantage. I have made one of the two Easter dresses and made sure dinner is ready when Michael gets home(so we don't eat out), I have also been trying to keep on on my houses(not well though). I need to get somethings done before I get to pregnant to do them. We'll see how the next little while goes. I am at 25 weeks right now and with kk as soon as I hit 27 weeks I was down for 3 months.

Well that ended up really long so now I better get back to work.

Michael has been in California this weekend with rugby so I have spent most of it up at mom and dad's. So I brought the computer up today so I could post pictures. It has been a fun weekend so far. yesterday Kk had a friend over after school. They were so cute. We went and ate lunch and then went up to mom and dad's and got Steph, Parks, Bright, and JD and we all headed to the park by my house. I even got a little bit of sun...on one side of my face and one leg. I love the spring weather we've had lately. It's been great...then today as I was leaving my house I looked in the back yard to see my fence blown down. yep you read right...BLOWN DOWN! Not great. I don't think the fence has been replaced since the homes were built 55 years ago. The wind took out even the posts that are in a concrete base that runs the whole back yard. Michael will have to look at it tomorrow to see what needs to be done. I'm hoping it won't cost us much to fix it..cause lets face it we don't have much.

I spent all yesterday evening keeps my cutie nephew JD awake. He apparently hasn't been sleeping at night, but he sleeps all day so I kept him "awake". Bobbie is working on him to try to get him to sleep more at night. I guess last night he went in 3 hour spurts. But he ate a ton yesterday so its probably also a growth spurt. He is such a sweet little grunter.
