Really long time.

I know it has been quite a while since I have blogged. But thanks to the generosity of my mother--she's watching my kids for a minute--and the use of her computer, you all get an update:)
I know you have all been dying.

We did mom's annual gingerbread making party a few weeks ago. Michael and I have decided we have somewhat copped out this past few years...next year we will be right back on top of it with something great again:) At least I still did the dog. Everything is edible & only white frosting..Mom's rules!

We still have not replaced our charging pack for the computer so I had to wait until I had time to come up here. We haven't really been up to a whole lot. We got to watched our cute little niece Jayci last week while Kari and Adam went to Chicago. It was lots of fun to have her stay with us. We loved it. It also gave us a little preview of our lives in a few months. Kind of. And I must say it was almost easier. Kailye was very good at entertaining one child while I took care of the other. She loves always having something to do. I'm sure it will be much different with our little ones but I never fealt like it was too much. I guess that's good considering we can't give this kid we're having back...NO Bobbie you can't take Keija!

This is the hair post french braid...she was just a little tired:)
This is mostly the face I got everytime I went to take a picture.
Kailye, Aubri, & JayciWe watched Deeds today so Bobbie could get some studying done for a test tonight. He is so good at playing with Keija and Kailye. He always has such a good time getting into what ever I will let him also.

I wish every cart were like the ones at Costco! Deeds was taking care of Keija:)Keija has been getting so big so fast. She "crawls" everywhere she can...ok really she just lunges/belly flops toward anything she wants. She is pretty speedy though. She already got to the christmas presents had a tons of fun ripping into them. She also has a funny habit when she sleeps of shoving half of her body out the crib or eating the bars while she sleeps...like a binky. She is still very much the happiest baby I know.Keija very much loves her older sister. She laughs with her every chance she gets. And No one can get Keija to laugh like Kk.

Kailye has been such a good helper the past few weeks. She is still liking school and reading a lot. She has been trying very hard recently to learn to control her rambunctious self and doing a pretty good job at it. I just wish sometimes people would remember she is Only 5. Reguardless of how old she acts sometimes she is still very much a little girl. We love her to pieces and enjoy every time she out smarts us...which lately is becoming more and more often.

It's been a while.

Sorry it's been a while. I would have posted long ago if it weren't for the fact that my adorable little 5 year old chewed through the charging cord for the computer. So great. I'm glad the stinker didn't shock herself.

We have been keeping busy. I didn't take any pictures last week so sorry no syrup. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Cox family. We also had another great "Thanksgiving" with the Griffee Family.

We went to The Festival Of Trees. It was a fun family activity. Well I know this wasn't much but I'm at mom's so that's it for today.

We were almost home.

"don't eat me!!!"
Oh I'm sure Kik will love this picture!

We had a fabulous time in "sunny" Mexico. It was really only sunny a few days but it was still wonderful and warm. We took Kailye & Keija into the city to go to Walmart the first day we were there. Michael and I had decided a while ago we were going to let our children experience the cultures in the places we visit and Walmart in downtown Cancun is definitely an experieince. As we were pulling into a parking lane a guy drove in front of us on a scooter...a regular experience in Mexico...Michael said, "stinkin' mexicans" just joking around and Kailye immedialty answered back with "more like smashedicans!" Her quick wit never ceases to amaze me.

Michael & I love Mexico and the people who live there. I was very happy to have so many wonderful people love my kids and kiss them everytime they passed them. We had the ENTIRE Griffee clan there and everywhere we went we had everyone ask if Keija and Aubri were twins. We even got one tripplet inquirey with Jayci, even though she is 6 months older. These stinking cute little Griffee girls all look so similar I guess.

We ate at fabulous restaurants but the best of all of them was Ruth's Chris Steak House. I feel so spoiled. We could have never afforded to go here in Utah but thank goodness for Mexico prices. It was incredible. I may never be satisfied with another steak again:)

We had a great time hanging out on the beach. Kailye actually got in the water:) With some severe coaxing from mama. SHe made "sand castles" and played all day. Keija was an angel and an excellent traveler. She also loved the beach...especially eating the sand. both my girls love the water but Kk taught herself to swim this past summer. I am happy to report she is now a seasoned swimmer. All over the pool with no help. I'm so proud of her.

We had a great time being with family and we are so gratful to have so much. THANK yOU THANK yOU Dan & Peggy for a wondeful family trip!!!! And thank you for inviting Leeana she was a huge help to all of us all week!
Oh yeah...
!!!!!GO UTES!!!!!
