Nothing to talk about.

This weekend was very boring for us. We did absolutely nothing. Kailye, Michael and I were all sick on Friday so we sat around and vegged all night. Then Saturday we basically did the same thing. I did get some of Christmas decorations put away but really not much else. Sunday I was sick and Kk still had a cough so we stayed home from church. That really was our whole weekend. Fun eh? I'm s little bugged today because I had to come to work. It wouldn't normally be a big deal except I woke up late so I'm going to be here a while. I have to make sure I get my hours this pay run so I don't lose my benefits. I have to take a few days off in the next few weeks and because of the changes with my job..woohoo...I don't have vacation time.

Kailye goes in next week to get her tubes put in her ears...YAY!!!! Poor kid can't hear anything. She also has to have something trimmed in her ear that is making it even worse for her to hear. Also Michael got a job offer and is supposed to go to Chicago for training next week. He hasn't decided if he wants to take it yet but if he does he will be gone next week and I will need to be home with kk one day.

Well I better make some money since I have to work today. Peace.

Check out my Slide Show!

Christmas

We had an awesome Holiday season. Friday we went to the Nutcracker with the Griffee Family. It was fun to see Kailye and Kari's niece Ali watch the show. On Saturday Michael and I got up and went to opposite valleys to finish Christmas shopping. Then we went to Grandma Gordon's Christmas party. Kailye had so much fun playing with the rest of the great grand kids.

On Sunday I was sick so I had to stay home from our cute little niece Jayci's blessing. Michael and Kailye went and said it was good. Little Jayci is so sweet. On Moday we woke up a little late and went to lunch with Leeana and Michael's siblings along with their spouses at Carrabba's. I love that place. After lunch Michael went shopping and Leeana, kk, and I went to finish up shopping and Christmas dinner. Michael and I decided last year that from now on we are doing our own Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas morning. It was so fun. We did invite Leeana and got her jammies as well. We had cheese potatoes and ham. It was wonderful. After dinner we read Christmas stories in our Christmas pajamas. Leeana went home and kk went to bed and Santa was glad that all the gifts were wrapped.

Christmas morning was so much fun to watch kk open all her presents. She is such a girl. She got lots of Barbies and Clothes. Her favorite shirt is definitely the one the Maxwell's bought her. She was so excited to have it match mommy's. I wanted to take a picture today but she wasn't feeling good tonight and just wanted to go to sleep. After Christmas morning stuff we headed to Grandpa Dan's to do Griffee Christmas stuff. That kid of ours is so spoiled. She got lots of fun new toys. I'm glad next year there will be 2 more grandkids, 4 total, that her grandparents will have to spread to.

We headed to Val's after that and had dinner with the Cox side of Michael's family. (Oh wait before that we had to run home because Michael dumped an entire can of soda on me. It was a long cold ride home.) It was funny to see the looks on some people's faces when they saw we were expecting again...we hadn't mentioned it too much. We had such a great Christmas. It was so fun to do just one family per holiday this year. We will definitely keep it up from now on. Well that got long and I'm tired. Write more tomorrow. Bye.

Pregnancy

I forget who we've told and who we haven't that we are expecting again. So here it is. This is our preggo blogspot. 4pregnancies1child.blogspot.com

I have lots of pictures I need to post from Christmas, but alas I am at work. We did have a very good holiday season though. Very relaxed. We loved it. It is the first year in 5 years that I don't feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. Woohoo.

I was so excited to get cute little pictures of my new nephew this morning. He's so cute. He looks just like Katy. Michael is soooo excited that they named him after him. He feels very honored. I don't think they have pictures up yet but here's a link.

Well back to work. I'll try to post tonight.

Kailye had her Christmas program tonight. At her program last year she was very shy and didn't do very much. This year we talked about her her program a lot and she told me she was going to be shy again. After I talked to her about how I used to sing in front of lots of people she asked how I did it. I told her I just sang really loud and didn't get scarred. She has been practicing and she did so well. I was so proud of her. She was not scarred at all.

Here is Kailye with Santa. She was not so fooled. She told us that it wasn't the real Santa. This is her waiting for her chance to show a break away karate move. Lovely really. She's such a lady. HA HA HA
We learned tonight that she is a great dancer. She was the only one who did the whole dance all the way through. It was so adorable.

She was right on beat and in step every time.

Last Night we went with some friends up to temple square. It was so fun. It wasn't too cold so it was fun to walk around and take our time. After we looked at the lights we went and watched the Joseph Smith movie in the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It was very good. There were some parts that were a little bit much for Kailye but she was very good at asking what was going on. She was so excited to tell Grandma Leeana today about how she knew all about Joseph Smith.

We've had a good few days. Well Michael needs to send out some resumes so I'll write more tomorrow.

bed pics

Michael put the lion on there...he was pretty tired when he made the bed this morning. I still need to get thing hung on the walls and put my curtains up. I also need to clean up a little but it looks better than it has since we moved in.

Oh Michael.

Yesterday we had a little bit of an eventful day. I came home from picking up Kailye after work and Michael said he thought he might need to go into the doctor because he dropped a drawer from some cabinets on the back of his foot. I said okay. Then he showed me the back of his foot. Uh, it was a mess. He had taken a big chunk of skin off the back of his heal. I asked him when he had done that and he said a few HOURS earlier. Hello!-bleeding-for a few hours? So we took him into the InstaCare and the doctor did his best to sew up what was left of the skin on the back of his heal. He could only get 3 stitches in because there wasn't enough skin for the rest. Lovely I know. I won't post any pictures of that. It's yucky.

After we went to the doctor we went with Michael's mom up to Ikea. I don't usually like Ikea but they have a bed I like and Leeana told us she would get it for us for Christmas. It's kind of girly but Michael said I could get what I wanted to and he didn't care. Ha Ha Ha...little did he know. Our bedroom is kind of small so we can't really have a huge bed. Not even really a mid sized bed would fit well so this one was a good compromise. Wow that picture was bigger than I thought. Anyway, the bed looks much cuter in my room with our stuff on it. We have a mattress and box spring so it looks much more cottage-ey. It's cute. I will take a picture later today and post it.

Well I need to get back to work. bye.

New Car and fun

It has been a very rough couple of weeks and after thinking about it this week it has been a very rough year for the whole Maxwell Family. Art and Steph and there multiple moves and hurricanes, etc. Bobbie and Jeremy and there pregnancy challenges and now health complications. Katy and Chad and there scary seizure with Braxton and Katy's lovely pregnancies. And Michael and I with our lost pregnancies and car accidents, house buying, and job mess. I am so glad to almost have this year be over. We did have a great time in Disneyland in the middle of our crazy lives. I'm glad to have those memories to over power all the hard ones.

Well I went back to my old job on Friday. I am sad to leave the new one. I really did like it but I think this move will be for the best. Getting back to work on Friday was like going home. My boss is ecstatic to have me back and had a computer ready for me as soon as I got there on Friday morning. That is usually based on seniority. She gave me a bunch of work to get into on Monday morning so I can start making money again. I think it was the break I needed from that job to really appreciate how great it was. My boss says I can still keep my flexibility that I need to take care of Kailye and make sure she gets where she needs to be everyday. I feel very good about switching.

We also bought a new car on Saturday. It is a Nissan Pathfinder. We were going to just buy another VW Passat but decided if we are going to have our kids close together we will likely have another one within 18 months of this next one. We didn 't want to have to buy another car again in 2 years. So now we have 2 SUV's. I know weird. Neither of us ever felt good about any of the cars we looked at. We had looked at the pathfinder before but it was a little out of our price range so we let it go. Well the sales agent called us a week later and said he could sell it for 3000 less than what he originally quoted. So we went back in to look at it. It was the first car we actually felt good about buying. I know its silly to think about receiving guidance for something like buying a car, but I feel like we did.

Last night we went and hung out with Art and Steph. It was so cool to be able to fit all 7 of us in 1 car. We went and watched the Christmas lights show at a house in Pleasant Grove. It is so cool. They have thousands of lights all timed to music. you just tune your radio into a designated station and watch. We had so much fun. They had a donation box outside there house for Make a Wish Foundation. After we went there we all headed back over to the Maxwell house. Michael and I watched the kids while Art and Steph ran to a reception. Okay I should really say Michael watched the kids. I kind of have a head cold so I layed down. I forgot our camera so I think you'll have to look at Art and Steph's blog to see them.

Well I need to go put a little one to bed so I'll write more tomorrow. Bye.

What a day.

Well its been a rough few days for us. We have had some pretty hefty decisions to make concerning work. I changed jobs about 6 weeks ago and I really enjoy working in the field. However because of our car accident it is nearly impossible for me to do so anymore until they fix my back and figure out whats wrong with my head...I know ha ha somethings wrong with my head. Anyway after a tough night Michael and I decided that the best thing for me to do is to move back to inside sales. It kind of stinks but I am excited to be making good money again. The stress from not making any money and being in constant pain is not worth it right now.

I talked to my old boss this morning and she was so excited. She said I could back back today if I wanted to. So as of tomorrow I am going back in. I'm hoping this will help a bit with our current situation as far as our accident and no money thing goes. yea that's been great let me tell you.

Well that was not a fun post but I've got to get things out sometimes and I really enjoy all of your encouraging comments. I love having so much family.

WOW lots and lots of syrup today. Love you all. I'll post happier later.

It's been so nice to be able to stay home with Kailye the past two weeks. I have noticed that she is so much more in control of her emotions since I have been home. Don't get me wrong she is still crazy Kailye but she is a little more pleasant to be around. I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. It will be an adjustment for me. I love being home with my little one. But I am trying to keep a good attitude about it. We'll see how it goes.

Michael and I had already decided that in the summer I was going to quit anyway but after the past month we decided it should probably be much sooner than that. We are shooting for the first part of February. But it all depends on if Michael's new job (when he finds said job) offers health insurance. We'll see. We will just keep doing what we feel we need to do and hope the Lord's guidance takes us in that direction.

Well Kailye and I have lots to do today before I have to get back to work tomorrow so I better get going. Bye.

Watch out...it's long.

I know it has been a very long time since I last blogged. I wanted to post so many pictures but I still have not figured out how to get them off my stinkin' camera. Just kidding figured it out....okay a few hours later.

Thanksgiving was so fun....yes it's really been that long since I posted. I loved seeing all the family.
We went bowling on Thanksgiving...it was very fun. I really want some of those cute kids bowling shoes for Kk. They are sweet.

The week after Thanksgiving Michael, Kk, and I got in a car accident. We were stopped and a lady rear-ended us going 40 mph. then we hit the car 10 feet in front of us. Needless to say our car is totalled. I am not happy about it considering we paid it off before we bought the house. So now we get to try to find a new car and try to avoid another car payment. I have been off of work since the accident because I was hurt. I got a concussion that has left me with a lasting head ache..woohoo. I also messed up my back but they can't really do much to check it yet. Not with out an MRI. and That is going to have to wait a while. SO now we get to deal with the insurance claim adjuster for Farmers, which is the other driver's insurance. But if our Medical gets over 3000 we will be filing with our Attorney. Michael has a friend who is an accident and injury lawyer. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping everything goes away and nothing hurts anymore but after 2 weeks of physical therapy and doctor's visits that really hasn't been working out.

We did go visit our super cute little new niece..oh wait our only niece. She's so cute and such a good little baby.

We went to mom's a few weeks ago to do the annual Ginger Bread houses. It was fun. This year we decided to let Kailye do her own and we would just help her out. She did a great job. next year we will get back into the spirit of it but it was too much for this year. Kailye had so much fun playing in the snow with her daddy, Parks, Bright, Art and aunt Steph. They built a great snowman. I will have to post all of these pictures later.

Michael and I have been trying to keep it all together with the accident and me not working...which translates to no income..THANK goodness for savings. Everything's still good for now. Hopefully we can get it all settled and I can get back to work for a while.....Before I quit to stay home with kk...hoping for February. Michael is looking for Jobs...if anyone hears of anything open please let me know. He's got plenty of experience in multiple fields and a degree in Business. We basically just need something with insurance that pays enough to pay our bills.

I got the tree up right after Thanksgiving...I love our Santa tree. Kailye picked out all the ornaments last year.

Kailye was very excited about all the snow at our house. She jumps in it when ever she can.

Well I better get to the grocery store before Michael comes home. We have NO food in our house right now...besides the bit of food storage we have. Love you all. Peace
