Halloween Fun.

We had such a great day today. Kailye was Cinderella for Halloween and she looked so stinkin' cute. She went to school this morning and had way too much fun and way too much Candy. After school we had to head to the ENT specialist to find out what we already knew...Kailye needs tubes. We have been trying to tell our doctor that since she was two but we finally convinced him she needs to see a specialist. yay!! She will have that done in January. After that Kailye and I went and got her a few new shirts because she doesn't fit most of her winter clothes from last year. She was very excited to get a princess night light for her room...now I can turn off the hall light at night. She had lots of fun trick or treating. She went up to Grandpa Dan's and went trick or treating there and then came down to our neighborhood. She loves Halloween. This picture is of her after Halloween. She was wired at 10 PM. Way too much candy. I tried to post a video of her dancing around but it won't let me. I'll try later. Well I need to get to bed. Bye.

pictures of Marley.

Marley is only 4 1/2 months old and she has gotten so big. She is the sweetest dog and is really loving having a big back yard to rip to pieces.

She loves playing with Kailye.

"Look what I can do mom"

Kailye thinks it's so fun that she can climb up the fence and let Marley out by herself. It's cute. She loves that she can climb the tree in our front yard all by herself. She had lots of fun seeing how high she could go.

I tried post a bunch of pictures of Kailye and Marley but blogger is all messed up so I'll have to do it later.

Day of randoms

This morning I made a random post about cities, and then I had to leave the building...quickly actually. I was just sitting here minding my own business and someone goes and calls a bomb threat. Yea you read right. Who the....would want to blow up PDC. Seriously! So we had to all sit out in the parking lot across the street while the police brought over bomb sniffing dogs. It was weird. So an hour and a half later I'm finally back at my desk. Back to work I go. Time is money for me..I'm not an hourly employee, I work on commission...UG!! :-P

I thought this was fun.

Candle party fun.

I had a candle party last night and it was fun. We had yummy snacks...shrimp, fruit, veggies, and cookies. We all sat around and talked and hung out. It was nice to have a suddo "girl's night"...including Art for a few minutes. I was planning on taking pictures but I totally forgot.

After the candle party Michael's family stayed for a while. Then Leeana and Nat left and it was just me and Kik left. I don't know what we were thinking but she left at about 12:15AM!! It was fun to sit and talk to her though. We haven't really gone on any road trips or to any rugby games or anything like that is so long and that used to be when we would talk. It was good. Well needless to say I am pretty tired today. I still have to work for another hour then I think I'm going to go home to take a nap. Bye.

Weekend...a day late.

This past weekend was so much more relaxing than I thought it would be...oh wait that is because I didn't do any of the things I needed to. Oh well.
Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with Grandpa Dan and Grandma Peggy. It was so cute. I've never gone to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins before. We always just got them from the grocery store. I was fun to watch Kailye run around and try to find the perfect pumpkin to carve. She was too cute. I forgot my camera but I do have a cute picture on my phone. I'll have to have Michael take it off and put it up. I did my Chicago Bears pumpkin again this year. Adam says maybe it will bring them some more good luck...well they won there game on Sunday by scoring a touchdown in the last 13 seconds so maybe it did. Kailye colored hers and then had her daddy help her carve the face. Michael hasn't carved his yet but he is planning on a haunted house.
Saturday we slept...and slept..and slept..and slept. yep we were sleeping off and on pretty much the whole day. I had such ambition to get so much done and well I didn't. Saturday night we did go to dinner with Michael's mom, at one of my favorite restaurants, Red Robin. After dinner Michael and I went and saw Elizabeth the Golden Age. It wasn't what I expected but it was still very good. Even Michael liked it.
Sunday we slept again...I think we've both been just a bit worn out and stressed. It was crazy to wake up to 4+ inches of snow at our house though..hello..not winter yet. We watched football and also the Red Sox game...Go Sox. It was so nice to just relax and do nothing.
This is one of the things Kailye and I do every month. We make calenders. They are so stinkin' cute and they are a very inexpensive way to keep her occupied.

So this picture is just to show that Kailye's bed is actually up. Her room is still a work in progress but it's getting there. We decided we are just going to put our crib up now concidering all the new babies coming into the family...plus that way we don't have to store it in the garage...which I will not show a picture of...oh man.

Today was a pretty good day. I went to work and got a new job..I'm getting more excited for that. Michael also went to work and is now home working on the shower. Did I mention we slept all weekend...yea the shower is still not done yet. I am having a candle party here tomorrow night though...If I forgot to invite you please come at 6:30...so I have been cleaning since I got home from work.

I was going to take before pictures, but I forgot. They would have been pretty dramatic...and my house still isn't clean. However you can see the reflection of my spice rack in the counter...lol.

We have lived here for 5 weeks and we still haven't finished unpacking, we don't have a shower yet, we haven't finished putting up the light fixtures, and we still need to put together the bedrooms...eventually.

Kailye did these pictures about 2 years ago at Nichola and Kelly's house and I liked them so much I framed them in clear frames and had them hanging in our old office. Well I finally got around to hanging them in our new house. After the bathroom is done and I can get all the stuff out of the kitchen I will put up my coat rack underneath the prints.

Although I do have to show this picture...yes that's right progress.

Michael is about 1/3 of the way done with the shower...woohoo! Well I better get the rest of the laundry done..Night.

Changes

I had my second interview with outside sales today. It went really well and she offered me the position. I am so excited and at the same time a little nervous. I have to go through a 2 week training again, even though I've worked here for 5 years :-P It does not pay so well either so now for the next two weeks before I start that I need to sell like mad to make up the difference in commission. I'm thinking the first week of training ought to be VERY boring, but the second week will be a great refresher. I have lots more to blog about but I don't have time right now so I'll try to do more later. Love you all bye.

Steph I'll have to re post a few of the disneyland Pictures that had Bright in them that didn't get put up right. I'll need to get my card to you so you can get the pictures off it.

The one you've all been waiting for...yay!

This picture is so priceless. It is definitely my favorite from the whole weekend. It was Kailye's very first time on an airplane. Can you tell? This is as we were lifting off. Kailye was so excited she kept saying "when are we going to blastoff?" By the time we came home it was her fourth flight and she told me she was a veteran. yea she's a nut. I don't know where she comes up with these things.

It was also Braxton's first plane ride. He really just wanted to play with uncle Michael's hat though.

Kailye took this picture. She's quite the little photographer. Some of the pictures she takes are so cool.

Were here!...okay well we are in the airport...John Wayne airport to be exact.

And here it comes....all the worst pictures of my siblings. Although poor Katy's was definitely the worst...sorry Kate.

Oh yea and one of mom...lovely.

yea we're in Disneyland!!!!!

The first day we were there we waited in line for a really long time to do the Nemo ride. It was so cool. I think I liked it better than Kailye. After that we went to California Adventures. It was fun to see the shows and go on the kids rides....we didn't discover the full park until that night. A lot of us went on the HUGE roller coaster at the back of the park that night. It was SOOOO good. I am scarred to death of heights but if you want to strap me to a piece of machinery and send me at G forces flying through the air...I'm there. It really was good. Right when you think it's almost over it keeps going. Plus we had hardly any wait.

"yea, I'm so cool. I'm taller than all you little people."

My favorite picture ever of Kailye and Parks. they look so cute

Cute picture of Parks too.

I had to take this Picture. WHO CRIES AT DISNEyLAND?

Kailye's first picture with a character. She was sooo funny. Disneyland is so much more fun with little kids.

Oh how pretty. We were waiting for Bugs life.

Michael jumped a fence for this picture but it's so cute.

Kailye ate one of those ice cream bars that is shaped like Mickey Mouse...can you tell? They have always been my favorite because my mom used to get them at the grocery store when I was little.

Bright waiting so patiently for everyone else.

Art &Parks and Michael & Kailye

Kailye spotted Cinderella long before she got to us. She was waving both hands like crazy...I have video but I don't know how to put it on here.

Kailye made us wait for 20 minutes until Cinderella came back from her break...she was very excited about the kiss on the cheek.

Is it the Burger King or Cinderella...who knows?

On day two we went to Disneyland. It was so fun to take Kailye on all the rides. She was just tall enough to go on almost all of them. It was so nice. And she was so excited every time. She is an adrenaline junky I guess. I thought after one roller coaster she'd be done but she just kept going. After every one we'd ask her if she liked it and she'd say yes then we'd ask her if she wanted to go again and she'd say NO. It was cute. In the afternoon Steph and Art bugged the Hostess at Blue Bayou enough that they got us a table for all 17 of us for lunch. It was awesome. That is by far my favorite restaurant ever. Not only for the food but the atmosphere, and all the memories that I have there from being a kid. It was so great to have those memories now with all my brother and sister in-laws, my nephews, my grandma, Leeana, bryan, and my husband and Kailye. They both loved it.

Dinner at Blue Bayou. MMMMMMmmmmm!!!!!

Kailye got to ride almost every roller coaster. She even puts her arms up. I wanted to buy the pictures of her on Splash Mountain and on Space mountain but she was hidden behind peoples arms or heads...but she was funny.

Kailye's favorite ride was Small World. She loved it.

She was watching Fantasmic when I took this picture. She LOVED it. But she also loves Fantasia so she liked all the parts that some kids think are boring.

On Sunday before we left to go to the airport we were going to go to lunch but my sweet little nephew had a seizure so we cut the day short to attend to him and his extremely worried parents. It was very scary, they are apparently common in children under 5 when they are sick and the fever spikes. It is still an image I will never get out of my head. I'm so grateful they weren't by themselves and that there were 2 registered nurses at the restaurant we were at. I also learned what do if it ever happens to any of my kids. you can read more about it on her blog if you'd like.
I have so many more cute pictures but they are on the Disney Photo Pass web site and I can't copy them off so I'll have to order a CD. That one has a picture of all 17 of us in costume. It's cute.
The whole weekend was soooo awesome. I love spending time with my family. I'm glad that for the most part we all get a long and that we are all so close.

We had so much fun that I wish we could have stayed another 2 days. It was so fun to see Kailye's reaction to everything. She was so cute. Thank you mom and dad!!!
