Slacker.....

I know I haven't Blogged in a long time...but I really haven't been feeling well. I did finally break down yesterday and went to the doctor.....It only took me passing out in the shower to call. The doctor thinks the Migraines are just from stress, but I haven't had a whole lot of stress..okay besides the whole we are buying our first house, closing in a week, and I haven't even started to pack. We have had quite a full house and that might be adding to my stress...lots of kids and lots of kids messes. The buying the house isn't very stressful to me but the moving thing..UGGG! To those of you who don't realize I have never left home..that's right people. I have lived in this house for 11 years and have acquired quite a bit of CRAP...When Michael and I got married we decided it would be better for us to stay living here until Michael graduated so we would have help with Kailye and so I could work with a bit less stress. Well now 3 1/2 years later we have lots of storage to go through..thus the reason for my stress.

We went to dinner on Friday night with the family. We went to Bucca De Beppo...I'm not sure I spelled that right. It was fitting that we were at an Italian restaurant. For those of you who are not aware of my families antics, you would be if we were within 50, no 100 yards of you. I describe us to people like this....Picture a BIG Italian family, throw in a little my big fat Greek wedding and you have my family. I love that we are loud and we have stories to tell for days about memories we have from growing up together, and that we all, for the most part have very similar personalities. If you saw...or heard..us all together you would think we were drunk...funny thing is we've been asked what we're drinking...and we don't drink. I come from a long line of over reactors also so you ad that to the end of every funny story and I promise you would not be bored in a night with my family. you might on the other hand be deaf....did I mention we are loud.

Okay this picture is not from Bucca but it is my crazy family.
Well back to the reason of passing out in the shower...I don't eat well when I'm sick or stressed. This is not convenient when you're hypoglycemic. So the doctor thinks that was the cause of my lovely experience. I am still not feeling good but better than I have in 2 weeks. Okay not true I was feeling better last Saturday when we went with the family to play mini-golf. It was very fun. I will have to post pictures after I steal them from the rest of the families blogs.

I sometimes like being sick so I have a break from real life...this wasn't necessarily one of those times but it did let me read. I love to read and haven't found any books that keep my attention well--stupid ADD--in few few months, until Bobbie told me about Twilight. Oh my...to any of you who hear "vampire love story" and automatically shoot it down, I am usually the same, I hate any thing unrealistic, I love human stories and human emotions. Stories that are historical fiction or historical non-fiction. But let me tell you I LOVED this series. I read all three books that are out in less than week. I have never read so much in that amount of time before in my life. (Staying up until 5 in the morning probably did not help with feeling sick.) I love being able to escape into a world that is not my own, and these books definitely do that. They were literally books that I could not put down. I can't wait until book 4 comes out next fall. Well I think that is a big enough blog for today and a little scatter brained. Peace.

UGGGG!!!!

It has been one of those days. you know the kind where you would have been better off staying in bed. I got up this morning, very tired from the night of reading, and went to work. Nothing much happened there...never really does. But about 12 I felt the back of my neck getting tense, then at 12:30 my sight started going blurry. So before the full strength of the oncoming migraine came, I headed out. I went and got Kk from Kristen's where she a Jason were having so much fun jumping off the couch onto the pillows on the floor. It was nice to sit and talk with Kristen for a minute before we went home.

When I got home I laid down on the couch in the dark cool basement and turned on the TV for Kailye. I know she shouldn't be watching so much TV but its better than me threatening her life because my head hurts so bad. I sat down and read my book and played with kk a bit until Michael came home. I was a little frustrated after a conversation with my mother-in-law so I fell asleep because it felt like it made my head hurt worse.

Michael and Kailye went to a birthday party for Michael's friend's 2 year old. I was glad he took Kk so I could sleep and not worry about what she was doing. Well I woke up feeling much better so now I am watching recorded FRIENDS episodes with the family. Wow that is a boring blog..but what can I say, such is my life lately...peace.

superbad????

Last night Steph & I went to go see a movie. We had planned on seeing Superbad but plans changed less than 5 minutes into the movie. The title said it all...it was AWFUL!!!!!!...really it just made me feel yucky and I barely saw any of it. So we left and went into Bourne Ultimatum instead. I had already seen it so I caught Steph up on the first 10 minutes we had missed. It was such a better choice. After that we came back home and instead of going to bed like we should have we stayed up and watched a few episodes of FRIENDS...I love that show. After that I went down to go to bed but I started reading a book Bobbie gave me to read, TWILIGHT, and it is so good that before I knew it it was 3:30 in the morning. I am half way through and can't wait to read the rest of the series. I think this is one of those series I will actually purchase. Well I better get back to work before the tired catches up with me. peace.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

I woke up this morning with a huge migraine. I love them. So I slept until 12:30. I feel bad because Steph ended up watching Kailye during that time, even though Michael was planning on watching her. It is getting a little better now, after 3 Extra Strength Excedrin. It has been quite a day and I've only been up 4 hours.

It has been so great having Steph and the boys here. Kailye loves playing with them. It keeps her so entertained. I am going to miss them even more when they go back home again. But I'm glad they got to come home. Kailye and Parks having been making great train track set ups, and they having been sharing pretty well. There is an occasional fight about a toy but other than that they are having a great time. Bright is so much bigger than last time he was here that now he loves joining them in everything. it's so cute. Well I better go take a shower...I know it's 4 PM. Oh well.

Lazy...

I am stressing out a bit about moving, because we have a lot more stuff than I thought. So instead of dealing with it I am just avoiding it. I am being pretty lazy, although I did get the invitations for Kari's baby shower done and made one of the games. That was productive. I also got the September calender made for Our little family. Kailye and I make them every month...although today KK didn't help too much. She is having so much fun playing with Parks and Bright. tonight she had fun playing with Jason too. She loves friends. She is getting very excited about going back to school. She told me the other day that she really misses her friends. We'll see how she does when she finds out it is not the same school. She's a pretty sociable kid I'm sure she probably won't care. Well it's late and I still need to take a shower...Bye.
Well this weekend was fairly non-eventful, except for Steph and the boys flying in on Saturday. Friday we sat around and watched movies, Saturday we went looking at couches because we don't have any for our new house. We won't buy them until after we move, but I would like to know which ones we are getting. I really love these big over stuffed micro-fiber ones but Michael is pretty dead set on leather....we'll see who wins out. Saturday afternoon we also went to look at our house again with Michael's dad, I can't wait until we get the inspection done so I can see if there is anything major that needs repairing. After we went and looked at the house we headed down to Michael's mom's house to get all the stuff we got for our wedding that we haven't looked at in three years. Michael's mom is so funny, she was sure that we had a whole room full of stuff at her house even though I have been telling her for years that we really don't. All of our stuff was in a closet in the basement she doesn't use. Well we showed up to get our stuff and she was so excited that she would be able to use the room again. She then realized I was right and we really didn't have that much there and all that was left was all Natalie's, Michael's sister, stuff not ours. And it still filled the whole room. All of our stuff did fill our entire 4-runner, but not an entire room. Now I just need to go through it and see what else we need. Well I better gt to work so I can pay for all of the above. bye.

"Loan????"-Steph

I haven't blogged as much lately as I usually do. We have been trying to find a house. Well we found one last week and we are now officially in escrow. It's is so weird to think about it...I guess we had to grow up at some point.

I feel like we have some Divine intervention on this one. We were looking because Bobbie & Jeremy are moving into mom & dad's. Well that isn't the reason we are moving but it was the push we needed to get things going. Mom's house is big but not for 6 adults, 1 four year old, one new born, 3 families, and 3 dogs...oh man...I mean there is enough rooms and space just not enough sanity to go around. Well we looked at 2 houses we really liked and then a few others along the way but something kept pulling us back to one in Orem. It was the smallest one we looked at but it is in a perfect location for us. Michael talked to the loan officer in his dad's real estate office and instead of using him he sent us to someone else...unheard of...because she could get us a better loan than he could. Well we went to her on Monday and the loan program she had was perfect and our payment will actually be less than we thought. Everything has just gone so smoothly that it feels so right. It feels like the Lord knows right where he needs us and has opened up the path for us to get there. Nothing is finalized yet but even if it falls through we have faith that the Lord knows what he's doing and it will all work out.

We are so grateful to have an understanding of the promptings of the spirit. It makes life so much easier. Well that's all I have for today...Love you all...Peace.

ell that as a bit of a sappy blog, but I'll try to make it more lively tomorrow...lol.

For Steph

I know I just posted but I had to say this.
I am so grateful for you. It was so hard for me to watch Art get so hurt with his first marriage, because we had been so close before he got married the first time. I was so skeptical when he met you, until the one night I saw him react badly to something and storm down stairs and instead of you sitting back and not knowing what to do like other girls had you walked straight down the stairs after him. I remember thanking God that night for you. It's because of you that my brother is a better person than when you met him. I can only hope to be half of what you are to my own husband and children. you seem to make everyone around you a better person. I know I've already said this to you personally but I wanted to put it in my blog-journal also. I also wanted to let everyone know just how amazing I think you are. I love you so much and really miss you.
Well another day has come and gone. This one was much better than yesterday, thank goodness. I went to work...Blah...then went to get Kailye from her friend Ainsley's house. She loves going over there. It is so great that my best friend growing up has a daughter so close in age to mine. I love that they are little best friends, it makes me hanging out with Sarah more fun, and easier.

So I came home and KK and I read books and played with Marley. Then we decided to clean the basement....it is very messy. I usually clean on Saturdays but the past few have been full so it was all piling up...It drives me crazy. I know most of you are thinking, "messy bugging Trish, uh huh, yeah right." Even Michael a few weeks ago said since when are you the cleaning Nazi. Well since a few months ago. Anyway, Kailye for some reason thinks it's fun to clean, boy I have her fooled. It was great. Since I knew I wasn't going to make it to the gym I did lunges while vacuuming and squats while picking things up and the I even used the free weights and worked out my arms. Go me!

So now I need to find us a house..yipee-ish...we'll see how that goes. Love you all.

Wednesday, August 8, 2007

I have had a very frustrating day today. I'm still pretty frustrated now so I think I'll blog tomorrow because if I keep blogging today I'm just going to offend even more people...I think I've done my fair share of that today.

Bye.

All this stuff

So I know I haven't blogged in two weeks but I have been sick and uh?....lazy. So here it comes. We went to Bear Lake a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. I wasn't feeling all that great but it was still very fun. We went up on a Friday and camped and then we went boating.

Tipsy is this cute little tiny Great Dane that Kailye is standing next to. She's huge! We took Marley on the boat with us and then threw her in the water. She was not very happy
about that.

Here is cute little Preggo Kik. I don't remember how far along she was in this picture but I'd say she still looks good. Although I do have to say that it still makes me sad when I see her and think we would have been at this same point with our little baby had we not lost it. But I am still happy for her.

Kailye had fun on the boat and in the tube but she wasn't so keen on being in the middle of a big lake with out someone holding on to her. She will in the pool but not in the lake.

We saw this crazy girl on the way home who looked like she was taking a nap. I think she's crazy!!!

Kailye and I thought it would be so fun to go play in the rain the other day. She learned fairly quickly that mommy can kick up a lot more water than she can. She got
drenched I just got a little wet.

This pic is of KK and Marley running up the hill because grandpa was home and KK wanted to give him a big hug. He was so happy about that!

I just had to show everyone how big Marley is getting. She's huge. She jumps all over everywhere, and wants to be every one's best friend. She's cute and such a good dog. She is house trained, knows how to sit on command, and shake. And she's only 9 weeks old. We love her.
So things have been good with us. Michael and I have been working hard to try and save up for a house. So far things keep coming up....like me getting sick or our truck needing repairs....so we'll keep trying. I hope you are all doing well. We love you.
